Three-dimensional stability calculation method for high and large composite slopes formed by mining stope and inner dump in adjacent open pits

The 2D limit equilibrium method is widely used for slope stability analysis.However,with the advancement of dump engineering,composite slopes often exhibit significant 3D mechanical effects.Consequently,it is of significant importance to develop an effective 3D stability calculation method for composite slopes to enhance the design and stability control of open-pit slope engineering.Using the composite slope formed by the mining stope and inner dump in Baiyinhua No.1 and No.2 open-pit coal mine as a case study,this research investigates the failure mode of composite slopes and establishes spatial shape equations for the sliding mass.By integrating the shear resistance and sliding force of each row of microstrip columns onto the bottom surface of the strip corresponding to the main sliding surface,a novel 2D equivalent physical and mechanical parameters analysis method for the strips on the main sliding surface of 3D sliding masses is proposed.Subsequently,a comprehensive 3D stability calculation method for composite slopes is developed,and the quantitative relationship between the coordinated development distance and its 3D stability coefficients is examined.The analysis reveals that the failure mode of the composite slope is characterized by cutting-bedding sliding,with the arc serving as the side interface and the weak layer as the bottom interface,while the destabilization mechanism primarily involves shear failure.The spatial form equation of the sliding mass comprises an ellipsoid and weak plane equation.The analysis revealed that when the coordinated development distance is 1500 m,the error rate between the 3D stability calculation result and the 2D stability calculation result of the composite slope is less than 8%,thereby verifying the proposed analytical method of equivalent physical and mechanical parameters and the 3D stability calculation method for composite slopes.Furthermore,the3D stability coefficient of the composite slope exhibits an exponential correlation with the coordinated development distance,with the coefficient gradually decreasing as the coordinated development distance increases.These findings provide a theoretical guideline for designing similar slope shape parameters and conducting stability analysis. 展开更多

To objectively obtain the three-dimensional coordinates of the projectile fuze proximity explosion when projectile intersects the head of missile target, we propose a dynamic seven photoelectric detection screen test method, which is made up of six plane detection screens and a flash photoelectric dynamic detection screen. The three-dimensional coordinates calculation model of the projectile proximity explosion position based on seven plane detection screens with dynamic characteristics is established.According to the relation of the dynamic seven photoelectric detection screen planes and the time values,the analytical function of the projectile proximity explosion position parameters under non-linear motion is derived. The projectile signal filtering method based on discrete wavelet transform is explored in this work. Additionally, the projectile signal recognition algorithm using an improved particle swarm is proposed. Based on the characteristics of the time duration and the signal peak error for the projectile passing through the detection screen, the signals attribution of the same projectile passing through six detection screens are analyzed for obtaining precise time values of the same projectile passing through the detection screens. On the basis of the projectile fuze proximity explosion test, the linear motion model and the proposed non-linear motion model are used to calculate and compare the same group of projectiles proximity explosion position parameters. The comparison of test results verifies that the proposed test method and calculation model in this work accurately obtain the actual projectile proximity explosion position parameters. 展开更多

This paper addresses the problem of assessing and optimizing the acoustic positioning system for underwater target localization with range measurement.We present a new three-dimensional assessment model to evaluate the optimal geometric beacon formation whether meets user requirements.For mathematical tractability,it is assumed that the measurements of the range between the target and beacons are corrupted with white Gaussian noise with variance,which is distance-dependent.Then,the relationship between DOP parameters and positioning accuracy can be derived by adopting dilution of precision(DOP)parameters in the assessment model.In addition,the optimal geometric beacon formation yielding the best performance can be achieved via minimizing the values of geometric dilution of precision(GDOP)in the case where the target position is known and fixed.Next,in order to ensure that the estimated positioning accuracy on the region of interest satisfies the precision required by the user,geometric positioning accuracy(GPA),horizontal positioning accuracy(HPA)and vertical positioning accuracy(VPA)are utilized to assess the optimal geometric beacon formation.Simulation examples are designed to illustrate the exactness of the conclusion.Unlike other work that only uses GDOP to optimize the formation and cannot assess the performance of the specified size,this new three-dimensional assessment model can evaluate the optimal geometric beacon formation for each dimension of any point in three-dimensional space,which can provide guidance to optimize the performance of each specified dimension. 展开更多

In the fingerprint matching-based wireless local area network(WLAN) indoor positioning system,Kalman filter(KF) is usually applied after fingerprint matching algorithms to make positioning results more accurate and consecutive.But this method,like most methods in WLAN indoor positioning field,fails to consider and make use of users' moving speed information.In order to make the positioning results more accurate through using the users' moving speed information,a coordinate correction algorithm(CCA) is proposed in this paper.It predicts a reasonable range for positioning coordinates by using the moving speed information.If the real positioning coordinates are not in the predicted range,it means that the positioning coordinates are not reasonable to a moving user in indoor environment,so the proposed CCA is used to correct this kind of positioning coordinates.The simulation results prove that the positioning results by the CCA are more accurate than those calculated by the KF and the CCA is effective to improve the positioning performance. 展开更多

In this paper, the axial-flux permanent magnet driver is modeledand analyzed in a simple and novel way under three-dimensional cylindricalcoordinates. The inherent three-dimensional characteristics of the deviceare comprehensively considered, and the governing equations are solved bysimplifying the boundary conditions. The axial magnetization of the sectorshapedpermanent magnets is accurately described in an algebraic form bythe parameters, which makes the physical meaning more explicit than thepurely mathematical expression in general series forms. The parameters of theBessel function are determined simply and the magnetic field distribution ofpermanent magnets and the air-gap is solved. Furthermore, the field solutionsare completely analytical, which provides convenience and satisfactoryaccuracy for modeling a series of electromagnetic performance parameters,such as the axial electromagnetic force density, axial electromagnetic force,and electromagnetic torque. The correctness and accuracy of the analyticalmodels are fully verified by three-dimensional finite element simulations and a15 kW prototype and the results of calculations, simulations, and experimentsunder three methods are highly consistent. The influence of several designparameters on magnetic field distribution and performance is studied and discussed.The results indicate that the modeling method proposed in this papercan calculate the magnetic field distribution and performance accurately andrapidly, which affords an important reference for the design and optimizationof axial-flux permanent magnet drivers. 展开更多

A method and procedure is presented to reconstruct three-dimensional(3D) positions of scattering centers from multiple synthetic aperture radar(SAR) images. Firstly, two-dimensional(2D) attribute scattering centers of targets are extracted from 2D SAR images. Secondly, similarity measure is developed based on 2D attributed scatter centers' location, type, and radargrammetry principle between multiple SAR images. By this similarity, we can associate 2D scatter centers and then obtain candidate 3D scattering centers. Thirdly, these candidate scattering centers are clustered in 3D space to reconstruct final 3D positions. Compared with presented methods, the proposed method has a capability of describing distributed scattering center, reduces false and missing 3D scattering centers, and has fewer restrictionson modeling data. To study the effects of the initiation position on the damage and fracture characteristics of linear-charge blasting, blasting model experiments were conducted in this study using computed tomography scanning and three-dimensional reconstruction methods. The fractal damage theory was used to quantify the crack distribution and damage degree of sandstone specimens after blasting. The results showed that regardless of an inverse or top initiation, due to compression deformation and sliding frictional resistance, the plugging medium of the borehole is effective. The energy of the explosive gas near the top of the borehole is consumed. This affects the effective crushing of rocks near the top of the borehole, where the extent of damage to Sections Ⅰ and Ⅱ is less than that of Sections Ⅲ and Ⅳ. In addition, the analysis revealed that under conditions of top initiation, the reflected tensile damage of the rock at the free face of the top of the borehole and the compression deformation of the plug and friction consume more blasting energy, resulting in lower blasting energy efficiency for top initiation. As a result, the overall damage degree of the specimens in the top-initiation group was significantly smaller than that in the inverse-initiation group. Under conditions of inverse initiation, the blasting energy efficiency is greater, causing the specimen to experience greater damage. Therefore, in the engineering practice of rock tunnel cut blasting, to utilize blasting energy effectively and enhance the effects of rock fragmentation, using the inverse-initiation method is recommended. In addition, in three-dimensional(3D) rock blasting, the bottom of the borehole has obvious end effects under the conditions of inverse initiation, and the crack distribution at the bottom of the borehole is trumpet-shaped. The occurrence of an end effect in the 3D linear-charge blasting model experiment is related to the initiation position and the blocking condition. 展开更多

This paper presents an on line algorithm to real timely estimate the tangent and the normal vectors of the constraint surface based on the measured contact force under the consideration of frictional force. A fuzzy synthesis policy is proposed to coordinate the conflict between the compliant force control and the stiff position control. The characteristics of three-dimensional (3-D) tidal current in the Oujiang Estuary are investigated according to in situ observations. The Oujiang Estuary has features of irregular coastline, complex topography, many islands, moveable boundary, and submerged dyke, therefore, σ 3-D numerical model oil an unstructured triangular grid has been degeloped. The σ coordinate transforination, the moveable boundary and submerged dyke treatment techniques were employed in the model so it is suitable for the tidal simulations in the Oujing Estuary with submerged dyke and moveable boundary problems. The model is evaluated with the in situ data, and the results show that the calculated water elevations at 19 stations and currents at 19 profiler stations are in good agreement with measured data both in magnitude and phase. This numerical model is applied to the 3-D tidal circulation simulations of experiments in stopping flow transport through the South Branch of the Oujiang Estuary, and the feasibility to cutoff the flow in the South Branch of the Oujiang Estuary is demonstrated by numerical simulation experiments. The developed numerical model simulated the 3-D tidal current circulations in complicated coastal and estuarine waters very well. 展开更多

For the problems existing in control network of vertical mine region established by conventional way, this paper advances a new scheme of establishing engineering coordinate system for vertical mine region. Based on the GPS positioning technique, through the relationship of coordinate transformation about a group of connecting points, the transforming parameters between the WGS-84 system and the Beijing54 system or Xi’an80 system about the region were calculated. The plane coordinate systems about the region can be maintained with a few of GPS control points using the method of GPS level, and fits the quasi-geoid about the region based on the Ellipsoid WGS-84. Huanghai Vertical Datum 1985 about the region can be maintained with the Ellipsoid WGS-84 as datum plane. Practice proves that there are advantages using the scheme to establish engineering coordinate system: the coordinate system as engineering foundation for vertical mine region will be in preservation for a long time; it is convenient and easy to carry out daily surveying work based on this coordinate system. 展开更多

This paper presents a new method for extract three-dimensional (3D) discrete spherical Fourier descriptors based on surface curvature voxels for pollen particle recognition. In order to reduce the high amount of pollen information and noise disturbance, the geometric normalized curvature voxels with the principal curvedness are first extracted to represent the intrinsic pollen volumetric data. Then the curvature voxels are decomposed into radial and angular components with spherical harmonic transform in spherical coordinates. Finally the 3D discrete Fourier transform is applied to the decomposed curvature voxels to obtain the 3D spherical Fourier descriptors for pollen recognition. Experimental results show that the presented descriptors are invariant to different pollen particle geometric transformations, such as pose change and spatial rotation, and can obtain high recognition accuracy and speed simultaneously. 展开更多

The main factors affecting the dynamic errors of coordinate measuring machines are analyzed. It is pointed out that there are two main contributors to the dynamic errors: One is the rotation of the elements around the joints connected with air bearings and the other is the bending of the elements caused by the dynamic inertial forces. A method for obtaining the displacement errors at the probe position from dynamic rotational errors is presented. The dynamic rotational errors are measured with inductive position sensors and a laser interferometer. The theoretical and experimental results both show that during the process of fast probing, due to the dynamic inertial forces, there are not only large rotation of the elements around the joints connected with air bearings but also large bending of the weak elements themselves. 展开更多

Three-dimensional Information Decoupling System Based on PSD were designed based on LabVIEW, in order to achieve precision, timeliness, reliability require-ments of the PSD used in the ATP system of Satellite Earth quantum communication. Firstly, the laser light source was driven by a stepper motor to scan on the PSD photosensitive surface, and the voltage value was collected and calculated to get the spot position. Analyzing the cause of nonlinear, a mathematical model was built between the actual value and the measured value by using binary quadratic polynomial method, PSD nonlinear correction function would be got. Then, the object micro displacement and angle offset were measured by combining optical triangulation method, and the error of the measurement results was corrected. Experimental results showed that, after the correction, the measuring deviation could be significantly reduced, the PSD performance calibration requirements was achieved, the efficiency of the system was developed greatly by using LabVIEW. 展开更多

由于煤矿井下高噪声、低照度、运动模糊的复杂工况和煤矸易聚集现象,导致煤矸目标检测模型特征提取困难及煤矸分类、定位不准确问题。针对该问题,提出一种基于CED-YOLOv5s模型的煤矸识别方法。首先,在YOLOv5s主干网络中引入坐标注意力(... 由于煤矿井下高噪声、低照度、运动模糊的复杂工况和煤矸易聚集现象,导致煤矸目标检测模型特征提取困难及煤矸分类、定位不准确问题。针对该问题,提出一种基于CED-YOLOv5s模型的煤矸识别方法。首先,在YOLOv5s主干网络中引入坐标注意力(CA)机制,通过将坐标信息嵌入信道关系和长程依赖关系中对特征图进行编码,充分利用通道注意力信息和空间注意力信息,使模型更加关注重要特征,抑制无用信息。其次,在YOLOv5s的检测头部引入EIoU回归损失函数,将目标框与锚框的宽高差异最小化,以增强目标的位置和边界信息,提高模型在密集目标下的定位精度和收敛速度;最后,在YOLOv5s的检测头部引入轻量化解耦头,解耦出单独的特征通道,分别用于分类任务和回归任务,解决了原模型中耦合头部分类任务与回归任务的相互干扰问题,进一步提升了模型的并行运算效率与检测精度。实验结果表明:CED-YOLOv5s模型与其他YOLO系列目标检测模型相比,综合性能最佳,平均检测精度达94.8%,相较于YOLOv5s模型提升了3.1%,检测速度达84.8帧/s,可充分满足煤矿井下煤矸实时检测需求。 展开更多

针对现有的大多数自底向上人体姿态估计算法存在模型规模大、计算成本高及对边缘设备不友好等问题,提出了一种基于YOLOv5s6-Pose的轻量级多人姿态估计网络模型YOLOv5s6-Pose-CT。该模型在颈部网络中引入空间和通道重建卷积,以减少空间... 针对现有的大多数自底向上人体姿态估计算法存在模型规模大、计算成本高及对边缘设备不友好等问题,提出了一种基于YOLOv5s6-Pose的轻量级多人姿态估计网络模型YOLOv5s6-Pose-CT。该模型在颈部网络中引入空间和通道重建卷积,以减少空间和通道维度上的特征冗余。同时,提出了一种坐标Transformer嵌入于主干网络中,使模型专注于长距离依赖和拥有高效的局部特征提取能力。其次,通过使用无偏特征位置对齐来解决多尺度融合过程中出现的特征错位问题。最后,使用损失函数MPDIoU对边界框的回归损失重新定义。在COCO 2017数据集上的实验结果表明,本文优化的网络模型与主流的轻量级网络EfficientHRNet-H1模型相比,在保持相同精度的同时,参数量和计算量分别减少16.2%和66.1%。相比于基准模型YOLOv5s6-Pose,参数量减少11.2%,计算量降低5.8%,平均检测精度和平均召回率分别提升2.5%和2.6%。 展开更多

中国内地GPS坐标时间序列噪声模型特征及其对站点速率影响

为了进一步评估全球定位系统(GPS)时间序列噪声模型水平和垂直速率的大小,及其对误差的影响,选取中国内地227个GPS连续基准站2010—2020年南北、东西和垂直3个方向的坐标时间序列,采用6种噪声模型或噪声组合模型对其进行噪声分析。结果... 为了进一步评估全球定位系统(GPS)时间序列噪声模型水平和垂直速率的大小,及其对误差的影响,选取中国内地227个GPS连续基准站2010—2020年南北、东西和垂直3个方向的坐标时间序列,采用6种噪声模型或噪声组合模型对其进行噪声分析。结果表明,中国内地GPS坐标时间序列噪声模型存在多样性,且部分站点在不同方向的噪声模型也存在差异,主要以一阶高斯马尔可夫+随机漫步噪声(GGMWN)和闪烁噪声+白噪声(FNWN)为主;在100°E附近的GPS站点噪声特性差异最为显著;噪声模型与速率之间的关系分析表明噪声模型对水平向速率的大小和误差影响较小,在现实计算中可不考虑噪声对水平速度的影响,但对垂向速率的大小和误差影响显著;考虑噪声模型可有效提高垂向速率的精度,同时也可能会改变部分站点的垂向运动方向,所以在现实计算中须考虑噪声对垂向速率的影响。 展开更多
