“Who to Cultivate?”: A Study on the Changes in Primary School Language Education Goals in the Curriculum Documents

What kind of person is the root of education?What kind of person embodies the essence of education and the direction of education?The goal of education cannot be solved without specific courses and disciplines.This study is carried out to characterize the Chinese curriculum standards(syllabus),review the founding of New China over 70 years of primary school Chinese curriculum,and outline an education picture from the“curriculum”itself to“individual students,”from“single”to“compound,”and from“present”to“future.”It has been concluded that the pursuit of national characteristics,the exploration of a wholesome personality,and the prospect of new people of the times are the internal evolution logics of primary school Chinese education.

The effect of goal setting in asthma self-management education:A systematic review

Background: Asthma self-management education combining with behavior therapy is considered to be more effective.Goal setting is a common behavior change technique used to help patients self-manage their symptoms.However,empirical evidence around its effectiveness on asthma management lacks clarity.Aims: To systematically integrate and appraise the evidence for effectiveness of goal setting interventions on asthma outcomes.Methods: Databases included CENTRAL,PubMed,EMBASE,CINAHL and Proquest Psychology Database were systematically searched for relevant intervention studies employing goal setting technique as a method in asthma education program for self-management.Characteristic of studies and outcomes in clinical,psychosocial and healthcare utilization outcome were extracted.Results: From a total of 2641 citations,45 full-text articles were assessed for eligibility and 9 studies met the inclusion criteria.Eight studies were randomized controlled trial and one was before-after study.None studies have a high methodological quality.Goal-setting based intervention appeared to improve symptom control,quality of life and self-efficacy in adult patients with asthma.Conclusion: This systematic review highlighted the potential of a goal setting technique in the asthma self-management education.However,due to the limitations of the quality and quantity of the included literature,more rigorous studies are needed.In the future,better effective study protocol combining with goal setting approach and other behavior technique is needed to further investigate.

Current and future role of three-dimensional modelling technology in rectal cancer surgery:A systematic review

BACKGROUND Three-dimensional(3D)modelling technology translates the patient-specific anatomical information derived from two-dimensional radiological images into virtual or physical 3D models,which more closely resemble the complex environment encountered during surgery.It has been successfully applied to surgical planning and navigation,as well as surgical training and patient education in several surgical specialties,but its uptake lags behind in colorectal surgery.Rectal cancer surgery poses specific challenges due to the complex anatomy of the pelvis,which is difficult to comprehend and visualise.AIM To review the current and emerging applications of the 3D models,both virtual and physical,in rectal cancer surgery。METHODS Medline/PubMed,Embase and Scopus databases were searched using the keywords“rectal surgery”,“colorectal surgery”,“three-dimensional”,“3D”,“modelling”,“3D printing”,“surgical planning”,“surgical navigation”,“surgical education”,“patient education”to identify the eligible full-text studies published in English between 2001 and 2020.Reference list from each article was manually reviewed to identify additional relevant papers.The conference abstracts,animal and cadaveric studies and studies describing 3D pelvimetry or radiotherapy planning were excluded.Data were extracted from the retrieved manuscripts and summarised in a descriptive way.The manuscript was prepared and revised in accordance with PRISMA 2009 checklist.RESULTS Sixteen studies,including 9 feasibility studies,were included in the systematic review.The studies were classified into four categories:feasibility of the use of 3D modelling technology in rectal cancer surgery,preoperative planning and intraoperative navigation,surgical education and surgical device design.Thirteen studies used virtual models,one 3D printed model and 2 both types of models.The construction of virtual and physical models depicting the normal pelvic anatomy and rectal cancer,was shown to be feasible.Within the clinical context,3D models were used to identify vascular anomalies,for surgical planning and navigation in lateral pelvic wall lymph node dissection and in management of recurrent rectal cancer.Both physical and virtual 3D models were found to be valuable in surgical education,with a preference for 3D printed models.The main limitations of the current technology identified in the studies were related to the restrictions of the segmentation process and the lack of 3D printing materials that could mimic the soft and deformable tissues.CONCLUSION 3D modelling technology has potential to be utilised in multiple aspects of rectal cancer surgery,however,it is still at the experimental stage of application in this setting.

A novel three-dimensional electric ophthalmotrope for improving the teaching of ocular movements

AIM: To develop a novel three-dimensional(3D) electric ophthalmotrope to improve the ophthalmology teaching effectiveness and evaluate the teaching value. METHODS: A 3D electric ophthalmotrope was designed by simulating the movement of the ocular and the extraocular muscles according to Sherrington’s law. The model with joint bearing was to ensure the flexibility and centripetal rotation of the simulated ball and stepper motor as the driving device. A programmable processor was used to control the motion amplitude of the stepper motor. The size of hole was set at the back of the simulated shell to limit the amount of eye movement. Afterwards, using a 5-point Likert scale, 7 experts evaluated the 3D electric ophthalmotrope’s simulation ability and precision, compared with the traditional anatomical model. In addition, the teaching effectiveness of the 3D electric ophthalmotrope was evaluated at in-class quiz and final exam in a randomized controlled trial. RESULTS: The 3D electric ophthalmotrope could be operated easily to demonstrate the eye movements with motion of different ocular muscles. The experts agreed that the 3D electric ophthalmotrope was different from the traditional model and was easier for students to understand every extraocular muscles’ movement in each evaluation index(P<0.05). Moreover, the results of teaching effectiveness showed that the 3D electric ophthalmotrope were significantly greater than the traditional model both at in-class quiz(P<0.01) and final exam(P<0.05). CONCLUSION: This novel 3D electric ophthalmotrope is better than the traditional model, which can be to improve the ophthalmology teaching effectiveness for students to understand the extraocular muscles’ movement.

Review on Physical quality Education

Using the principle and method of quality education, this article first expounds the theoretical basis of physical quality education, and then analyzes the difference between the quality education and physical quality education. Second, the article has some discussion on the characteristics, structure and content of physical quality education, and finally raises the primary means of implementing physical quality education.

Research and Practice of Moral Education in Higher Mathematics Teaching in the New Era

This paper first analyses the reasons for the low effectiveness of moral education in the current higher mathematics teaching,and then puts forward the contents,methods,and approaches of integrating moral education into higher mathematics teaching in the new era on this basis,and finally finds out the points for attention in the integration of moral education in higher mathematics teaching in the new era.Theoretically,the moral education content is innovated.We should set up the moral education idea of students as the foundation and moral education as the first,establish the attainable goals of moral education in different stages and levels,excavate the moral education resources contained in the current real life and social hot spots,and pay attention to the inheritance and enlightenment of Chinese excellent traditional culture,especially the mathematical culture and history in moral education.In practice,the moral education methods are improved and the moral education approaches are broadened.Moral education methods should be close to reality and life,should adapt to students’personality and hobbies,and should be diversified.Moral education can be carried out by improving the working mechanism of moral education management,publicity,and so on,strengthening the construction of moral education team and creating an atmosphere of full staff education.

The Psycho-Pedagogical Monitoring Research and the Problems of the Quality of Requirements in the Current Educational System

Nowadays, we face many obstacles connected with the high quality education. This sphere forces us to implement new methods and approaches in everyday learning process. The following academic research done on psycho-pedagogical sphere in higher education showed that the enhancement in the educational system is developing slowly because of the lack of research. By all means, it is the right time to follow the objectives and try to develop and suggest the current teaching process using technology that of course will be based on the development of quality control and thesaurus-agency approaches. As mentioned in Bolkan and Goodboy, their research showed that teachers who promote intellectual stimulation empower and enrich students both cognitive and affective getting knowledge and experience process in the classroom. The main objective of current experiment is that it suggests intellectual stimulation which is linked to intrinsic motivation, and that intrinsic motivation has all the advantages to influence students＇ use of effective studying behaviors. According to Dunlosky, Marsh, Nathan, Willingham and Rawson, there are specific techniques which can influence on the overall process of higher education.

A Comparative Study on the Education of Elderly University between China and Britain

The UK is one of the earliest countries in the world to set up an elderly university. There are many similarities and differences between Chinese and British elderly university. This paper makes a comparative study on the educational goals, curriculum, content and activities of elderly university in China and Britain, which is beneficial to the elderly university of our country for reference to the development experience of the elderly university in Britain. The elderly university in our country should also adhere to the value orientation of social adaptation and self-realization theory, further update the curriculum content, carry out diversified teaching activities, meet the diversified needs of the elderly for entertainment, learning and development, and ultimately improve the quality of life of the elderly.

A Summary of Educational Scholars’View on Educational Purpose during the Period of the Republic of China

By using literature data analysis,taking the views of educational scholars during the Republic of China as an entry point,selecting representative educational scholars from that period,studying the educational goals of those educational scholars,as well as summarizing and refining their educational concepts,it has been found that the focus was on the cultivation of a sound personality,the development of spiritual values,the cultivation of social responsibility,as well as the cultivation of national consciousness.These four aspects are consistent with the comprehensive development demands by the educational purposes of modern countries in terms of moral,intellectual,physical,artistic,and labor;they provide new supplements and impetus for the current educational purposes to cultivate effective people and develop socialism with Chinese characteristics.

Rights-Based Education Programming: A Complimentary Approach for Addressing Poverty, Education Inequality, and Development in Zimbabwe

The United Nations Millennium Development Goals(MDGs)of 2015 sought to eradicate major problems facing the globe.Member states ratifying these goals were tasked to formulate and institute policies aimed at addressing the global economic,political,social,and environmental challenges.Three major goals sought to address fundamental issues on poverty,universal education,and gender equality.The MDGs were succeeded by the Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs)which are targeted to be achieved by 2030.The intersectionality of the development goals and education cannot be underestimated.Education has been identified as a key strategy for addressing poverty,hunger,and gender equality.Although several countries ratified the MDGs,most did not achieve the goals by 2015.A shift in policy is necessary to close the achievement gap and to help the eff orts for achieving the 2030 SDGs.This paper addresses Zimbabwe’s progress towards the SDGs.Progress on key indicators of quality education,poverty,and inequality of opportunities is presented.Finally,the paper suggests a rights-based education programming framework to help accelerate achievement of the SDGs.

Mental Health Education for Students from Junior Colleges Moving into Undergraduate Level in Private Colleges from the Perspective of Three- Dimensional Education

Good psychological quality is the basic requirement for college students in the new era.Students from junior colleges moving into xmdergraduate level in private colleges are a special group as they are already an important part of students in private colleges.Based on the mental health status of these students,private colleges have analyzed the issues of mental health education which include weak teaching staffs,lack attention,and traditional education methods.From the perspective of three-dimensional education,the psychological education work model in private colleges is explored to build an education team to promote the participation of all employees in the work of psychological education,strengthen the attention of college students who are moving into the undergraduate level,and to pay full attention to these students.Private colleges should try to innovate education methods and improve psychological education in all aspects.

From Mutual Creation to Mutual Benefit:China’s National Teacher Training Program between Higher Teacher Education and K-12 Teachers

Sustainable Development Goal(SDG 4)lays solid theoretical foundation for the development of higher teacher education in improving the quality of teaching faculty nationwide.Sustainable teacher training paves a way for teacher professional development in the long run.China’s“National Teacher Training Program”serves a connection between higher teacher education and K-12 teachers in multiple perspectives when exploring K-12 teachers’improvement of the essence by upgrading the initiative of the program with the assistance of educational technology and modern educational philosophy from mutual creation to mutual benefit.Direction orientation strategic design based on demand for teaching faculty,curriculum setting in modules,and characteristics creation have been carried out to upgrade the training of teacher colleges and National Teacher Training Program in the future for achieving a win-win situation between higher teacher education and K-12 education.

体育课根本目标与根本内容的偏离与匡正

长久以来针对体育课根本目标、根本内容的讨论未能切实推进主要源于偏离传承知识与发展认知能力的轨道,执着于身体运动的手段论效用,遮蔽体育课根本内容。紧扣课程教育的属性,分析“内容”与“目标”的内涵认为:体育课的根本内容应立足于“游戏”,由身体运动文化要素构成;根本目标在于教师适时设定恰当的教学情境(方法、手段),干预学生的身体运动行为,帮助他们转变认知状态,将相关身体运动信息转化、融入身体,形成、发展运动认知能力。构建体育课根本目标与根本内容的意义体现为:明确体育课在“育人”方面无可替代,契合基础教育的基础性、一般性要求,兼顾国家(或社会)的需要、个人发展的需要、课程载体的属性,突出体育课的具身性特征。

红色资源融入高校体育课程思政的价值及路径研究

大学体育作为高等院校的公共必修课,是课程育人的前沿阵地,通过将红色文化资源融入到高校体育课程,开展思政教育,让红色文化资源和高校体育课程有机融合,能够实现红色文化育人、红色文化化人的目标,并充分彰显出高校体育课程在“立德树人”根本任务落实中的重要价值和功能。文章对红色资源的内涵、类型、特点及其融入高校体育课程思政的价值定位进行了介绍,分析了红色资源融入高校体育课程思政的目标指向,分别从明确体育教学目标、调整体育教学内容、搭建数字教育平台三个方面提出了红色资源融入高校体育课程思政的实践路径。

论教育目标的形式化表征

教育目标是教育实践的起点和归宿。从教育系统设计的角度看,教育目标具有公共性和可达性,它为教育系统设计提供了指引性信息。教育目标领域可以分为能力领域和价值领域,前者呼应的是事实性真理,后者呼应的是价值性真理。而不呼应任何真理领域的情感态度不是一种独立的教育目标领域,不满足公共性和可达性的要求,它只是价值学习的伴生物。与自然语言表征相比,教育目标的形式化表征更容易满足清晰性、整体性、可组合性以及高设计分辨力的要求。能力建模图和它所关联的知识建模图以及二元组(知识点,学习水平)可以用来形式化表征能力目标,蕴含着知识建模图和价值矛盾体的价值建模图以及二元组(价值,学习水平)可以用来形式化表征价值目标。有了形式化表征方法,便不会在教育目标描述中混淆目标与任务或计划,也不再需要用大而无当的语词来描述教育目标。

课程思政中立德树人导向对育人绩效的作用机制研究

为了揭示立德树人导向如何作用于育人绩效,从组织战略导向出发,选取教师组织公民行为和目标导向行为作为中介变量,基于“战略导向—组织行为—战略产出”理论模式,探讨立德树人导向对育人绩效的作用机制;同时,选取变革型和交易型两种课程思政的领导风格作为调节变量,研究其对立德树人导向发挥作用的边界影响。研究表明,高校需要强化立德树人导向培养优秀大学生,形成自身的独特竞争优势;同时,高校管理者需要通过调整领导方式以更好地贯彻完成立德树人根本任务。

通识选修课程光电技术导论课程思政研究与实践

以面向非工专业开设的通识选修课程光电技术导论为例,围绕课程的知识目标、能力目标和素质目标,深入分析课程知识点,知识点所蕴含的思政元素,知识形成过程中的价值理念和科学方法,知识应用过程中涌现的创新实践、协作奋斗和工匠精神,从教学理念、教学内容、教学策略上全方面探讨思想政治教育元素的有机融入方法。给出具体思政案例设计思路和设计方法,从学科特色、社会应用、专业成就及家国情怀等方面着手,将思政元素有机融入课堂教学,为高校将特色学科特色课程引入非本学科专业通识选修教学中,在价值引领、知识教育和能力培养的有机统一上提供探索和实践经验。

TOPCARES-CDIO与目标导向管理在手术室新护士培训中的应用

目的探讨以目标为导向的计算机教育改革-构思、设计、实施、运行(target oriented project centered authenticity enhanced reform of computer education based on-conceive,design,implement,operate,TOPCARES-CDIO)理念结合目标导向管理在手术室新进护士教育培训中的应用效果。方法采用前后对照研究设计,选取2019年1月—2023年6月于河北大学附属医院手术室工作不足1年的60名新进护士,随机分为对照组与试验组,每组30名。对照组采用传统的教育培训模式,试验组采用TOPCARES-CDIO理念结合目标导向管理的教育培训模式。比较2组新进护士培训前后的核心能力、护理实践行为、职业获益感、技能能力、护理质量和医患满意度等指标的变化。结果培训后,2组新进护士的核心能力、护理实践行为、职业获益感、技能能力、护理质量和医患满意度得分高于护理前,且试验组高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论TOPCARES-CDIO理念结合目标导向管理的教育培训模式能有效提高手术室新进护士的核心能力、护理实践行为、职业获益感、技能能力、护理质量和医患满意度,有利于促进手术室新进护士的专业发展和团队协作。

护理教育背景下能力本位教育的研究进展

本文综述能力本位教育的内涵、在护理教育中的实践作用、面临的挑战及对策等,提出以目标结果为导向的能力本位教育为护理教育变革提供了新思路,拟为推进护理教育发展提供参考。
