This paper addresses the problem of assessing and optimizing the acoustic positioning system for underwater target localization with range measurement.We present a new three-dimensional assessment model to evaluate th...This paper addresses the problem of assessing and optimizing the acoustic positioning system for underwater target localization with range measurement.We present a new three-dimensional assessment model to evaluate the optimal geometric beacon formation whether meets user requirements.For mathematical tractability,it is assumed that the measurements of the range between the target and beacons are corrupted with white Gaussian noise with variance,which is distance-dependent.Then,the relationship between DOP parameters and positioning accuracy can be derived by adopting dilution of precision(DOP)parameters in the assessment model.In addition,the optimal geometric beacon formation yielding the best performance can be achieved via minimizing the values of geometric dilution of precision(GDOP)in the case where the target position is known and fixed.Next,in order to ensure that the estimated positioning accuracy on the region of interest satisfies the precision required by the user,geometric positioning accuracy(GPA),horizontal positioning accuracy(HPA)and vertical positioning accuracy(VPA)are utilized to assess the optimal geometric beacon formation.Simulation examples are designed to illustrate the exactness of the conclusion.Unlike other work that only uses GDOP to optimize the formation and cannot assess the performance of the specified size,this new three-dimensional assessment model can evaluate the optimal geometric beacon formation for each dimension of any point in three-dimensional space,which can provide guidance to optimize the performance of each specified dimension.展开更多

Firstly, two-dimensional(2D) attribute scattering centers of...A method and procedure is presented to reconstruct three-dimensional(3D) positions of scattering centers from multiple synthetic aperture radar(SAR) images. Firstly, two-dimensional(2D) attribute scattering centers of targets are extracted from 2D SAR images. Secondly, similarity measure is developed based on 2D attributed scatter centers' location, type, and radargrammetry principle between multiple SAR images. By this similarity, we can associate 2D scatter centers and then obtain candidate 3D scattering centers. Thirdly, these candidate scattering centers are clustered in 3D space to reconstruct final 3D positions. Compared with presented methods, the proposed method has a capability of describing distributed scattering center, reduces false and missing 3D scattering centers, and has fewer restrictionson modeling data. To study the effects of the initiation position on the damage and fracture characteristics of linear-charge blasting, blasting model experiments were conducted in this study using computed tomography scanning and thre...To study the effects of the initiation position on the damage and fracture characteristics of linear-charge blasting, blasting model experiments were conducted in this study using computed tomography scanning and three-dimensional reconstruction methods. The fractal damage theory was used to quantify the crack distribution and damage degree of sandstone specimens after blasting. The results showed that regardless of an inverse or top initiation, due to compression deformation and sliding frictional resistance, the plugging medium of the borehole is effective. The energy of the explosive gas near the top of the borehole is consumed. This affects the effective crushing of rocks near the top of the borehole, where the extent of damage to Sections Ⅰ and Ⅱ is less than that of Sections Ⅲ and Ⅳ. In addition, the analysis revealed that under conditions of top initiation, the reflected tensile damage of the rock at the free face of the top of the borehole and the compression deformation of the plug and friction consume more blasting energy, resulting in lower blasting energy efficiency for top initiation. As a result, the overall damage degree of the specimens in the top-initiation group was significantly smaller than that in the inverse-initiation group. Under conditions of inverse initiation, the blasting energy efficiency is greater, causing the specimen to experience greater damage. Therefore, in the engineering practice of rock tunnel cut blasting, to utilize blasting energy effectively and enhance the effects of rock fragmentation, using the inverse-initiation method is recommended. In addition, in three-dimensional(3D) rock blasting, the bottom of the borehole has obvious end effects under the conditions of inverse initiation, and the crack distribution at the bottom of the borehole is trumpet-shaped. The occurrence of an end effect in the 3D linear-charge blasting model experiment is related to the initiation position and the blocking condition.展开更多

These clocks have gravitational and motional frequency shifts whic...The Global Positioning System (GPS) uses accurate atomic clocks in satellites and on the ground to provide world-wide position and time determination. These clocks have gravitational and motional frequency shifts which are so large that, without properly accounting for relativistic effects, the system would not work. As a practical matter, therefore, many individuals who use the GPS need to understand how relativistic effects accounted for in the system. This paper discusses relativistic effects arising from both special relativity and general relativity, and how these effects are incorporated in GPS operations. Two introductory sections on kinematics in special and general relativity, respectively, are followed by a section which describes how relativistic effects should be accounted for. The concept of synchroization in the Earth-Centered Inertial frame is discussed in detail. Numerical and experimental examples are given, showing the sizes of the various effects. The treatment of special and general relativity is sufficiently complete that a person should be able to follow the development without much reference to external material, except that a few standard results have been quoted from textbooks without derivation.展开更多

And ambiguities are ordinarily equal to zero,but could be the number of cycles that have "slipped" if loss-of-lock has occurred.Therefore,cycle slips are estimated as parameters of time-relative positioning observation equations.Because the temporal single difference observables are taken at different epochs and different stations with a single GPS receiver,if time-relative positioning observation equations are linearized as that of conventional relative positioning,the design matrix will be rank defective.To obtain a stable linearization scheme,time-relative positioning observation equations are further analyzed,and the concept of virtual measurement is applied.A sample of data collected on a vehicle test shows that a cycle slip detection approach based on time-relative positioning theory can detect slips at the value of one cycle.The results also indicate if two satellites are so near to each other that they have the same equivalent to satellite-receiver geometry,cycle slip detection will be difficult and may get wrong results.Cycle slips of different satellites also affect detection by satellite-receiver geometry.展开更多

The definition of a reference state close to the realistic atmosphere in an atmospheric model is essential for deriving prognostic deviations and improving numerical accuracy.In this study,a new dynamical framework al...The definition of a reference state close to the realistic atmosphere in an atmospheric model is essential for deriving prognostic deviations and improving numerical accuracy.In this study,a new dynamical framework allowing easy switching between a one-dimensional(1D)and a three-dimensional(3D)time-independent reference state is developed for the semi-implicit semi-Lagrangian solver in a global non-hydrostatic atmospheric model on Yin–Yang grids.The 3D reference state is introduced with consideration of additional horizontal gradient terms of referencestate terms,which is different from the 1D reference state.It is characterized by reduced magnitude of deviations,more accurate pressure gradient force,as well as alleviated numerical noise.Four idealized benchmark tests and multiple full-physics real-case forecasts are carried out to assess the impact of the 3D and 1D reference states.The 3D reference state shows significant advantages in the simulation of atmospheric transport and wave propagation in the idealized experiments.In the real-case forecasts,batched forecasts from June to August 2021 show a comprehensive improvement in medium-range prediction by using the 3D reference state.The new scheme achieves an enhanced prediction skill for large-scale circulation and extends the effective forecast period by 0.8 days in the Northern Hemisphere.展开更多

Results show that their formation processes and related seasonality are quite similar; in particular, wind-thermocline-SST feedback is the leading mechanism in producing the anomalous cooling over the eastern tropics in both cases. Some differences are also fbund, including the fact that the cooling effect of the vertical advection over the eastern tropical Indian Ocean is dominated by the anomalous vertical velocity during the plOD but by the anomalous upper-ocean stratification under global warming. These findings are lhrther examined through an analysis of the mixed layer heat budget.展开更多

A comprehensive understanding of the spatial interaction between the industrial undertaking capability and the position of the global value chain of the 12 East Asian countries is conducive to strengthening regional c...A comprehensive understanding of the spatial interaction between the industrial undertaking capability and the position of the global value chain of the 12 East Asian countries is conducive to strengthening regional cooperation, gaining a say in foreign trade and becoming the dominant player in the global division of labor system. The article reveals the operating rules of the interaction between the industrial undertaking capacity and the global value chain position of East Asian countries by calculating the Global Moran Index(Moran’s I), coupling coordination degree and other indicators. The results show that: in time, the values of industrial undertaking capacity and the positions of global value chain in East Asian countries showed a sustained and stable growth trend, and have a consistent trend of change. Spatially, both of the two indexes had significant positive spatial correlation, with Moran’s I showing an ‘inverted U’pattern, and the spatial aggregation distribution of global value chain position lagged behind the spatial aggregation distribution of industrial undertaking capacity by one year. In terms of spatial coupling coordination, the coupling coordination values of the two indicators show a steady upward trend. Combined with the comparative advantage of each country, this paper provides suggestions for promoting the positions of Chinese and other East Asian industries in the global value chain from the perspectives of enhancing independent innovation capability and upgrading industrial structure.展开更多

The results show that the improvement of global value chain position could significantly reduce the carbon emissions of China's manufacturing industry. In addition,foreign investment and energy structure hindered the low-carbon development of China's manufacturing industry. The effects of population size and research intensity on the carbon emissions of manufacturing industry were not significant. In the process of participating in the global value chain,China's manufacturing industry should effectively reduce carbon emissions by strengthening environmental regulation,optimizing energy structure and improving production technology.展开更多

When using global positioning system/BeiDou navigation satellite(GPS/BDS)dual-mode navigation system to locate a train,Kalman filter that is used to calculate train position has to be adjusted according to the feature...When using global positioning system/BeiDou navigation satellite(GPS/BDS)dual-mode navigation system to locate a train,Kalman filter that is used to calculate train position has to be adjusted according to the features of the dual-mode observation.Due to multipath effect,positioning accuracy of present Kalman filter algorithm is really low.To solve this problem,a chaotic immune-vaccine particle swarm optimization_extended Kalman filter(CIPSO_EKF)algorithm is proposed to improve the output accuracy of the Kalman filter.By chaotic mapping and immunization,the particle swarm algorithm is first optimized,and then the optimized particle swarm algorithm is used to optimize the observation error covariance matrix.The optimal parameters are provided to the EKF,which can effectively reduce the impact of the observation value oscillation caused by multipath effect on positioning accuracy.At the same time,the train positioning results of EKF and CIPSO_EKF algorithms are compared.The eastward position errors and velocity errors show that CIPSO_EKF algorithm has faster convergence speed and higher real-time performance,which can effectively suppress interference and improve positioning accuracy.展开更多

Initially, the study tries to present the association between product positioning and global branding approaches of the companies and sustaining competitive advantage. Justifications for the examination of the importance of companies' international product positioning and global branding orientations as a basis of creating competitive advantage were derived from the literature. It is suggested that the companies' product positioning and global branding orientations and sustaining competitive advantage are the important aspects in multinational management and international business areas. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to evaluate the impact of product positioning and global branding strategies of the companies with special references to various industries and global brands.
文摘An efficient cycle slip detection method is proposed for high precision positioning and navigation results with global positioning system (GPS),which is based on the assumption of a high sampling interval, measurement errors are so small that they can be ignored in the temporal single difference observables. And ambiguities are ordinarily equal to zero,but could be the number of cycles that have "slipped" if loss-of-lock has occurred.Therefore,cycle slips are estimated as parameters of time-relative positioning observation equations.Because the temporal single difference observables are taken at different epochs and different stations with a single GPS receiver,if time-relative positioning observation equations are linearized as that of conventional relative positioning,the design matrix will be rank defective.To obtain a stable linearization scheme,time-relative positioning observation equations are further analyzed,and the concept of virtual measurement is applied.A sample of data collected on a vehicle test shows that a cycle slip detection approach based on time-relative positioning theory can detect slips at the value of one cycle.The results also indicate if two satellites are so near to each other that they have the same equivalent to satellite-receiver geometry,cycle slip detection will be difficult and may get wrong results.Cycle slips of different satellites also affect detection by satellite-receiver geometry.

文摘An integration processing system of three-dimensional laser scanning information visualization in goaf was developed. It is provided with multiple functions, such as laser scanning information management for goaf, cloud data de-noising optimization, construction, display and operation of three-dimensional model, model editing, profile generation, calculation of goaf volume and roof area, Boolean calculation among models and interaction with the third party soft ware. Concerning this system with a concise interface, plentiful data input/output interfaces, it is featured with high integration, simple and convenient operations of applications. According to practice, in addition to being well-adapted, this system is favorably reliable and stable.

文摘The definition of a reference state close to the realistic atmosphere in an atmospheric model is essential for deriving prognostic deviations and improving numerical accuracy.In this study,a new dynamical framework allowing easy switching between a one-dimensional(1D)and a three-dimensional(3D)time-independent reference state is developed for the semi-implicit semi-Lagrangian solver in a global non-hydrostatic atmospheric model on Yin–Yang grids.The 3D reference state is introduced with consideration of additional horizontal gradient terms of referencestate terms,which is different from the 1D reference state.It is characterized by reduced magnitude of deviations,more accurate pressure gradient force,as well as alleviated numerical noise.Four idealized benchmark tests and multiple full-physics real-case forecasts are carried out to assess the impact of the 3D and 1D reference states.The 3D reference state shows significant advantages in the simulation of atmospheric transport and wave propagation in the idealized experiments.In the real-case forecasts,batched forecasts from June to August 2021 show a comprehensive improvement in medium-range prediction by using the 3D reference state.The new scheme achieves an enhanced prediction skill for large-scale circulation and extends the effective forecast period by 0.8 days in the Northern Hemisphere.

文摘Climate models project a positive Indian Ocean Dipole (plOD)-like SST response in the tropical Indian Ocean to global warming, By employing the Community Earth System Model and applying an overriding technique to its ocean component (version 2 of the Parallel Ocean Program), this study investigates the similarities and differences of the formation mechanisms for the changes in the tropical Indian Ocean during the plOD versus global warming. Results show that their formation processes and related seasonality are quite similar; in particular, wind-thermocline-SST feedback is the leading mechanism in producing the anomalous cooling over the eastern tropics in both cases. Some differences are also fbund, including the fact that the cooling effect of the vertical advection over the eastern tropical Indian Ocean is dominated by the anomalous vertical velocity during the plOD but by the anomalous upper-ocean stratification under global warming. These findings are lhrther examined through an analysis of the mixed layer heat budget.

文摘A comprehensive understanding of the spatial interaction between the industrial undertaking capability and the position of the global value chain of the 12 East Asian countries is conducive to strengthening regional cooperation, gaining a say in foreign trade and becoming the dominant player in the global division of labor system. The article reveals the operating rules of the interaction between the industrial undertaking capacity and the global value chain position of East Asian countries by calculating the Global Moran Index(Moran’s I), coupling coordination degree and other indicators. The results show that: in time, the values of industrial undertaking capacity and the positions of global value chain in East Asian countries showed a sustained and stable growth trend, and have a consistent trend of change. Spatially, both of the two indexes had significant positive spatial correlation, with Moran’s I showing an ‘inverted U’pattern, and the spatial aggregation distribution of global value chain position lagged behind the spatial aggregation distribution of industrial undertaking capacity by one year. In terms of spatial coupling coordination, the coupling coordination values of the two indicators show a steady upward trend. Combined with the comparative advantage of each country, this paper provides suggestions for promoting the positions of Chinese and other East Asian industries in the global value chain from the perspectives of enhancing independent innovation capability and upgrading industrial structure.

文摘A series elastic actuator(SEA) is a powerful device in the area of human-machine integration, but it still suffers from difficult position control issues. Therefore, in this paper,an efficient approach is proposed to solve this problem. The approach design is divided into two steps: feedback linearization(FL) and global sliding mode(GSM) controller design. The bounded analysis is presented and global asymptotic convergence is analytically proven. Simulation and experiment results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.

文摘Based on the input-output data from the World Input-Output Database( WIOD),the global value chain( GVC) position of China's manufacturing industry from 2003 to 2014 was calculated,and the relationship between the carbon emissions and global value chain position of China's manufacturing industry was studied based on the improved STIRPAT model. The results show that the improvement of global value chain position could significantly reduce the carbon emissions of China's manufacturing industry. In addition,foreign investment and energy structure hindered the low-carbon development of China's manufacturing industry. The effects of population size and research intensity on the carbon emissions of manufacturing industry were not significant. In the process of participating in the global value chain,China's manufacturing industry should effectively reduce carbon emissions by strengthening environmental regulation,optimizing energy structure and improving production technology.
文摘A simple robust scheme of parallel force/position control is proposed in this paper to deal with two problems for non-planar constraint surface and nonlinear mechanical feature of environment: i) uncertainties in environment that are usually not available or difficult to be determined in most practical situations; ii) stability problem or/and integrator windup due to the integration of force error in the force dominance rule in parallel force/position control. It shows that this robust scheme is a good alternative for anti-windup. In the presence of environment uncertainties, global asymptotic stability of the resulting closed-loop system is guaranteed; it environment with complex characteristics. Finally, numerical robot manipulator. also shows robustness of the proposed controller to uncertain simulation verifies results via contact task of a two rigid-links

[Li DM,Lu JA,Wu XQ,Chen GR,Estimating the global basin of attraction and positively invariant set for the Lorenz system and a unified chaotic system,Journal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications,2006,323(2): 844-853]. The theoretical results obtained in this paper will find wide application in chaos control and synchronization.

文摘When using global positioning system/BeiDou navigation satellite(GPS/BDS)dual-mode navigation system to locate a train,Kalman filter that is used to calculate train position has to be adjusted according to the features of the dual-mode observation.Due to multipath effect,positioning accuracy of present Kalman filter algorithm is really low.To solve this problem,a chaotic immune-vaccine particle swarm optimization_extended Kalman filter(CIPSO_EKF)algorithm is proposed to improve the output accuracy of the Kalman filter.By chaotic mapping and immunization,the particle swarm algorithm is first optimized,and then the optimized particle swarm algorithm is used to optimize the observation error covariance matrix.The optimal parameters are provided to the EKF,which can effectively reduce the impact of the observation value oscillation caused by multipath effect on positioning accuracy.At the same time,the train positioning results of EKF and CIPSO_EKF algorithms are compared.The eastward position errors and velocity errors show that CIPSO_EKF algorithm has faster convergence speed and higher real-time performance,which can effectively suppress interference and improve positioning accuracy.
文摘Nowadays global navigation satellite system(GNSS)receivers are the primary tool not only for precision surveying but also for geodesy,geophysics and many other industrial applications worldwide.The only way to assure the accuracy,universality and longevity of GNSS measurements is by calibration of its receivers.The parameters affecting the calibration accuracy of a single GNSS receiver are discussed in this paper.And a geodetic basepoint is established according to previous empirical studies to serve as a reference for calibration.Additionally,the traceability to the systeme international(SI)unit of such kind of calibrations is discussed.Stability of the base point is also verified through long-term measurements over three years.Eventually,a calibration of a sample single GNSS receiver is performed and the uncertainty budget is derived.
