Exploration and Practice of“Guiding Interactive”Teaching in Advanced Geochemistry Courses from the Perspective of Constructivist Theory

The construction of geochemical disciplines has brought new vitality to the development of traditional geology.In the new round of“Double First-Class”discipline construction at Central South University,the course of Advanced Geochemistry has effectively stimulated students’interest in learning and further improved their scientific thinking and research innovation skills through the implementation of“Guiding Interactive”teaching reform measures,which has important theoretical significance and practical value.

Three-dimensional numerical analysis of plant-soil hydraulic interactions on pore water pressure of vegetated slope under different rainfall patterns

Understanding the pore water pressure distribution in unsaturated soil is crucial in predicting shallow landslides triggered by rainfall,mainly when dealing with different temporal patterns of rainfall intensity.However,the hydrological response of vegetated slopes,especially three-dimensional(3D)slopes covered with shrubs,under different rainfall patterns remains unclear and requires further investigation.To address this issue,this study adopts a novel 3D numerical model for simulating hydraulic interactions between the root system of the shrub and the surrounding soil.Three series of numerical parametric studies are conducted to investigate the influences of slope inclination,rainfall pattern and rainfall duration.Four rainfall patterns(advanced,bimodal,delayed,and uniform)and two rainfall durations(4-h intense and 168-h mild rainfall)are considered to study the hydrological response of the slope.The computed results show that 17%higher transpiration-induced suction is found for a steeper slope,which remains even after a short,intense rainfall with a 100-year return period.The extreme rainfalls with advanced(PA),bimodal(PB)and uniform(PU)rainfall patterns need to be considered for the short rainfall duration(4 h),while the delayed(PD)and uniform(PU)rainfall patterns are highly recommended for long rainfall durations(168 h).The presence of plants can improve slope stability markedly under extreme rainfall with a short duration(4 h).For the long duration(168 h),the benefit of the plant in preserving pore-water pressure(PWP)and slope stability may not be sufficient.

Strategies for Fostering Interaction in Online Classrooms:A Conversation Analysis of Teacher-Student Verbal Interaction in Random Questioning in Pandemic-Initiated Online Teaching

This paper aims to explore how a veteran teacher organizes online teaching initiated by the pandemic and how she deals with the problems in online teacher-student verbal interaction.By analyzing a corpus of 20 audio-recorded online lessons between a math teacher and her students during the COVID-19 pandemic from April 11 to May 10,2022,four interactional segments are selected as the focus of the study.The results of the conversation analysis of the segments showed that students’modesty,lack of confidence,lack of ability,and network delay are the main factors affecting online teacher-student interaction.By encouraging students to answer questions,enlightening students to give answers,enriching students’answers,and entertaining the teaching atmosphere(“4Es”strategies),the teacher solved the problems successfully.The findings from this study can provide pedagogical experience and implications for practical teaching.

An Exploration of the Interactive Web-based College English Teaching Model

In the light of the theory of constructivism, the interactive web-based college English teaching model is intended to facilitate ＂autonomy＂, ＂inquiry＂ and ＂cooperation＂ in learning English. This paper presents a research in which the interactive web-based college English teaching model intends to reshape the teacher＇s and learner＇s roles in the classroom. Based on the research, an exploration is made --- within the framework of the interactive web-based model --- on the design of ＂teaching model＂ and ＂learning model＂, its application and related potential problems.

An Introduction to Interactive Teaching Mode and Its Implication in College English Writing Class

Interactive teaching mode refers to a dynamic process of teaching in which teachers and students and teaching materials will affect each other. It offers language learners a chance to communicate and exchange information frequently. Group cooperative leaning has long been considered to be one of the most important forms of the interactive teaching mode. The high or low level of English writing is a comprehensive reflection of various abilities. A Comparative Study of Translation Course Teaching Mode of English Teacher and Chinese Teacher from the Perspective of Interactive Teaching Theory

The paper discusses a field study of different features of the teaching modes of English teacher and Chinese teacher from the perspective of interactive teaching theory.With survey of the translation course reform experimented in Chinese students classroom,the positive exposure of a foreign teacher combined with the work of a Chinese teacher's help in classroom are inspiring for further remolding of a better teaching mode tailored to some special group of Chinese students aiming for study abroad later.The newly teaching mode developed above would serve as a reference for the teaching field.

Three-dimensional visualization interactive system for digital twin workshop

To improve the human-physical-virtual coordination and integration of the digital twin workshop,3D visual monitoring and human-computer interaction of the digital twin workshop was studied.First,a novel 6D model of the 3D visualization interactive system for digital twin workshops is proposed.As the traditional 5D digital twin model ignores the importance of human-computer interaction,a new dimension of the user terminal was added.A hierarchical real-time data-driven mapping model for the workshop production process is then proposed.Moreover,a real-time data acquisition method for the industrial Internet of things is proposed based on OPC UA(object linking and embedding for process control unified architecture).Based on the 6D model of the system,the process of creating a 3D visualization virtual environment based on virtual reality is introduced,in addition to a data-driven process based on the data management cloud platform.Finally,the 6D model of the system was confirmed using the blade rotor test workshop as the object,and a 3D visualization interactive system is developed.The results show that the system is more transparent,real-time,data-driven and more efficient,as well as promotes the coordination and integration of human-physical-virtual,which has practical significance for developing digital twin workshops.

Study of the learner-centered interactive teaching model in the EFL classroom

Interactive Teaching in Interpersonal Skills

Engineers are very much part of the ongoing globalization and they are encountering problems of cross-disciplinary nature Team working skills respecting other peoples＇ qualifications are required so therefore interpersonal skills are becoming more and more important, including communications skills, leadership and awareness. Consequently, educational programs for teaching engineers should work with the fact that the capability of communicating with people with different background competences is important, nevertheless the engineering education has traditionally focused on technical skills rather than on personal development. In order to reform the B.Sc. courses to guide students to become better and more efficient engineers on all levels, the DTU （Technical University of Denmark） and Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences （Metropolia） modified their education according to the CDIO （conceive, design, implement and operate） approach in the autumn of 2008. The CDIO pedagogy encouraged to develop an interactive course in interpersonal skills, where the students have to take an active part in the exercises as well as involve themselves in the interactive communication process. The course consists of various exercises from which the participants will develop their awareness and knowledge of communication. It is the intention to give the students a personal understanding and idea of a different approach to communicating between people. The students evaluated the course, and the four key questions dealing with the quality of the course show a very high satisfaction with the instruction. The grades one and two （1 best/very much, 5 worst/very little） of the responses ＂to these four questions are ranging on average from 69.5% to 88% （on a yearly basis）. The positive responses indicate that the students are very satisfied with the course recognizing the need for education on international communication.

Foreign Landscape Architecture History Teaching by Introducing Three-dimensional Graphic Analysis:A Case Study of Italian Renaissance Gardens

Taking contents of Italian Renaissance gardens in the course Foreign Landscape Architecture History as an example,this paper introduces case teaching method and analyzes application of three-dimensional graphic analysis method in case teaching in detail,aiming at typical cases of Italian Renaissance gardens,namely,Villa Medici,Fiesole and Villa d’Este,Tivoli.Three-dimensional graphic analysis can help students form intuitive feeling of terrain and space,further understand the typical gardening techniques of foreign gardens,so as to improve the teaching effect of landscape architecture history course.

Three Stages and Three Principles of ＂Three-Dimensional Teaching＂ in Broadcasting and Hosting Program

The calls for the employment demand are making a change to the rigid, backward teaching method. In this paper, the ＂three- dimensional teaching＂ as a very scientific, flexible, and efficient classroom teaching model currently is mainly discussed. Meanwhile, the dynamic internal composition of the ＂three-dimensional teaching＂ is mainly introduced from its three stages and three principles, and also the three-dimensional teaching reform plan is supported and promoted based on two advantages.
