This interdisciplinary study examines factors influencing customer trust in AI systems through a mixed-methods approach, blending quantitative analysis with qualitative insights to create a comprehensive conceptual framework. Quantitatively, the study analyzes responses from 1248 participants using structural equation modeling (SEM), exploring interactions between technological factors like perceived usefulness and transparency, psychological factors including perceived risk and domain expertise, and organizational factors such as leadership support and ethical accountability. The results confirm the model, showing significant impacts of these factors on consumer trust and AI adoption attitudes. Qualitatively, the study includes 35 semi-structured interviews and five case studies, providing deeper insight into the dynamics shaping trust. Key themes identified include the necessity of explainability, domain competence, corporate culture, and stakeholder engagement in fostering trust. The qualitative findings complement the quantitative data, highlighting the complex interplay between technology capabilities, human perceptions, and organizational practices in establishing trust in AI. By integrating these findings, the study proposes a novel conceptual model that elucidates how various elements collectively influence consumer trust in AI. This model not only advances theoretical understanding but also offers practical implications for businesses and policymakers. The research contributes to the discourse on trust creation and decision-making in technology, emphasizing the need for interdisciplinary efforts to address societal challenges associated with technological advancements. It lays the groundwork for future research, including longitudinal, cross-cultural, and industry-specific studies, to further explore consumer trust in AI.展开更多

The inherent three-dimensional characteristics of the deviceare comprehensively considered, and the governing equations are solved bysimplifying the boundary conditions. The axial magnetization of the sectorshapedpermanent magnets is accurately described in an algebraic form bythe parameters, which makes the physical meaning more explicit than thepurely mathematical expression in general series forms. The parameters of theBessel function are determined simply and the magnetic field distribution ofpermanent magnets and the air-gap is solved. Furthermore, the field solutionsare completely analytical, which provides convenience and satisfactoryaccuracy for modeling a series of electromagnetic performance parameters, such as the axial electromagnetic force density, axial electromagnetic force, and electromagnetic torque. The correctness and accuracy of the analyticalmodels are fully verified by three-dimensional finite element simulations and a15 kW prototype and the results of calculations, simulations, and experimentsunder three methods are highly consistent. The influence of several designparameters on magnetic field distribution and performance is studied and discussed. The results indicate that the modeling method proposed in this papercan calculate the magnetic field distribution and performance accurately andrapidly, which affords an important reference for the design and optimizationof axial-flux permanent magnet drivers.展开更多

Based on the results obtained, it is found that the degradation of readily biodegradable COD will be much slower be-cause of lower bacterial growth. At certain period, the COD concentration will increase and be plotted higher later on compared to the model which is limited only to substrate and oxygen. Besides the ammonium nitro-gen, other parameters i.e. particulate products from COD decay and particulate degradable organic nitrogen will also increase soon after certain time. Considering the increase of ammonium nitrogen as it is also con-verted to nitrate nitrogen, it can be predicted that some algae may show up during the treatment processes. When the model is simulated under different water temperature, slower biodegradation process is presented at lower water temperature. Because the bacteria grow better at higher water temperature, more oxygen is then required. Finally, from this study, it is also identified that the artificial mixing and addition of oxygen at initial stage of treatment will considerably influence the restoration.展开更多

The loose top-coal drawing test with shields and the controlled test without shields are performed in the condition without any boundary effect. Test results show that shields will cause reduction in drawing volume of coal in the LTCC mining. The deflection phenomenon of drawing body is also observed in the controlled test, which is verified that the deflection of drawing body is caused by shield. It is found that the deflection angle decreases with increasing caving height, with the maximum value of atailand the minimum value of 0. In addition, the formula to calculate the drawing volume is proposed subsequently. The deflection of drawing body is numerically simulated using particle flow code PFC3 Dand the proposed formula to calculate drawing volume in LTCC is also verified.展开更多

文摘Cross-region innovation is widely recognized as an important source of the long-term regional innovation capacity. In the recent past,a growing number of studies has investigated the network structure and mechanisms of cross-region innovation collaboration in various contexts. However, existing research mainly focuses on physical effects, such as geographical distance and high-speed railway connections. These studies ignore the intangible drivers in a changing environment, the more digitalized economy and the increasingly solidified innovation network structure. Thus, the focus of this study is on estimating determinants of innovation networks, especially on intangible drivers, which have been largely neglected so far.Using city-level data of Chinese patents(excluding Hong Kong,Macao, and Taiwan Province of China),we trace innovation networks across Chinese cities over a long period of time.By integrating a measure on Information and Communications Technology(ICT)development gap and network structural effects into the general proximity framework, this paper explores the changing mechanisms of Chinese innovation networks from a new perspective. The results show that the structure of cross-region innovation networks has changed in China. As mechanisms behind this development, the results confirm the increasingly important role of intangible drivers in Chinese inter-city innovation collaboration when controlling for effects of physical proximity, such as geographical distance.Since digitalization and coordinated development are the mainstream trends in China and other developing countries, these countries'inter-city innovation collaboration patterns will witness dramatic changes under the influence of intangible drivers.

文摘Enhancing the economic resilience of agriculture is essential for promoting sustainable and high-quality agricultural development. The emergence of digital technology has created new opportunities in this field. However, existing research predominantly focuses on traditional agricultural factors and technologies. Therefore, the impact of digital technology on agricultural economic resilience within the broader context of the“production-operation-industry”system in agriculture has not been comprehensively explored. To bridge this gap, this study analyzes panel data from 30 Chinese provinces from 2011 to 2020.It employs the static Van Dorn’s law and a dynamic spatial panel model to examine how digital technology empowers agricultural resilience. The findings indicate a continuous strengthening of digital technology development in China, albeit with significant polarization and spatial imbalances. Moreover, the resilience of the agricultural economy undergoes notable fluctuations, initially narrowing and subsequently displaying an upward trend.Digital technology clearly plays a pivotal role in empowering resilience through agricultural scale operation, industrial transformation, and technological progress. Its impact, particularly on the promotion of resilience in the eastern region and non-grain-producing areas and on high-level agricultural economies, also shows regional and technological variations.
文摘Green technology innovation is an important driving force and source to promote my country’s high-quality development, and it is the core path to achieve sustainable development. This paper uses my country’s provincial panel data from 2016 to 2019 to study the impact mechanism of R&D investment on green technology innovation, and introduces the level of digitization, using the panel threshold model to discuss its role in the impact mechanism of R&D investment on green technology innovation. The study found that when the level of digitalization in a region is low, increasing R&D investment does not necessarily improve the ability of green technology innovation;when the level of digitalization is relatively high,R&D investment has a positive role in promoting green technology innovation. Therefore,it is necessary to improve policies to encourage enterprises to increase investment in research and development;at the same time,it is necessary to promote the coordinated development of digital foundation, digital investment, digital literacy, digital economy and digital application, and promote the deep integration of digitalization and green technology innovation.
文摘With the development and progress of science and technology, road and bridge design has experienced rapid development, from the initial manual drawing design to the popularity of Computer-Aided Design(CAD),and then to today’s digital software design era.Early designers relied on hand-drawn paper design forms which was time-consuming and error-prone.Digital support for road and bridge design not only saves the design time but the design quality has also achieved a qualitative leap. This paper engages in the application of digital technology in road and bridge design,to provide technical reference for China’s road and bridge engineering design units,to promote the popularity of Civil3D and other advanced design software in the field of engineering design and development, ultimately contributing to the sustainable development of China’s road and bridge engineering.

文摘We combined domestic ground-based and satellite magnetic measurements to create a regional three-dimensional surface Spline(3DSS)gradient model of the main geomagnetic field over the Chinese continent. To improve the precision of the model,we considered the data gap between the ground and satellite data.We compared and analyzed the results of the Taylor polynomial, surface Spline, and CHAOS-6(the CHAMP,?rsted and SAC-C model of Earth’s magnetic field)gradient models. Results showed that the gradients in the south-north and east-west directions of the four models were consistent. The 3DSS model was able to express not only gradients at different altitudes, but also average gradients inside the research area. The two Spline models were able to capture more information on gradient anomalies than were the fitted models.Strong local anomalies were observed in northern Xinjiang,Beijing, and the junction area between Jiangsu and Zhejiang, and the total intensity F decreased whereas the altitude increased. The gradient decreased by 21.69%in the south-north direction and increased by 11.78%in the east-west direction. In addition, the altitude gradient turned from negative to positive while the altitude increased. The Spline model and the two fitted models differed mainly in the field sources they expressed and the modeling theory.
文摘Objective To evaluate the predictive validity of IRIS™(Intuitive Surgical®,Sunnyvale,CA,USA)as a planning tool for robot-assisted partial nephrectomy(RAPN)by assessing the degree of overlap with intraoperative execution. Methods Thirty-one patients scheduled for RAPN by four experienced urologists were enrolled in a prospective study.Prior to surgery, urologists reviewed the IRIS™three-dimensional model on an iphone Operating System(iOS)app and completed a questionnaire outlining their surgical plan including surgical approach, and ischemia technique as well as confidence in executing this plan.Postoperatively, questionnaires assessing the procedural approach, clinical utility, efficiency, and effectiveness of IRIS™were completed. The degree of overlap between the preoperative and intraoperative questionnaires and between the planned approach and actual execution of the procedure was analyzed.Questionnaires were answered on a 5-point Likert scale and scores of 4 or greater were considered positive. Results Mean age was 65.1 years with a mean tumor size of 27.7 mm(interquartile range 17.5-44.0 mm).Hilar tumors consisted of 32.3%;48.4%of patients had R.E.N.A.L.nephrometry scores of 7-9.On preoperative questionnaires, the surgeons reported that in 67.7%cases they were confident that they can perform the procedure successfully, and on intraoperative questionnaires, the surgeons reported that in 96.8%cases IRIS™helped achieve good spatial sensation of the anatomy. There was a high degree of overlap between preoperative and intraoperative questionnaires for the surgical approach, interpreting anatomical details and clinical utility. When comparing plans for selective or off-clamp,the preoperative plan was executed in 90.0%of cases intraoperatively. Conclusion A high degree of overlap between the preoperative surgical approach and intraoperative RAPN execution was found using IRIS™.This is the first study to evaluate the predictive accuracy of IRIS™during RAPN by comparing preoperative plan and intraoperative execution.

文摘In this paper, the axial-flux permanent magnet driver is modeledand analyzed in a simple and novel way under three-dimensional cylindricalcoordinates. The results indicate that the modeling method proposed in this papercan calculate the magnetic field distribution and performance accurately andrapidly, which affords an important reference for the design and optimizationof axial-flux permanent magnet drivers.

文摘To complete the previously information issued on the feasibility study and some technical challenges identi-fied from the application of bacterial technology, this study presents another characteristics of numerical output as the bacterial growth is now also limited to ammonium nitrogen and water temperature. Finally, from this study, it is also identified that the artificial mixing and addition of oxygen at initial stage of treatment will considerably influence the restoration.

文摘Based on the loose medium flow field theory, the loose top-coal drawing law of longwall top-coal caving(LTCC) mining technology is studied by using self-developed three-dimensional(3D) test device. The deflection of drawing body is numerically simulated using particle flow code PFC3 Dand the proposed formula to calculate drawing volume in LTCC is also verified.
