We present the initial results of Cn^2 measurement at Anta...This is the second paper of a series devoted to atmospheric optical turbulence Cn^2 observation using a mobile polar atmospheric parameter measurement system. We present the initial results of Cn^2 measurement at Antarctic Taishan Station using micro-thermal sensors and a three-dimensional sonic anemometer at height -2.0 m above the snow surface. The site testing experiments were carried out during the 30th Chinese National Antarctic Research Expedition (CH1NARE). We collected about 1 000 h of data between 30 December 2013 and 10 February 2014. The C,: curve exhibits clear daily structures, with two peaks around midnight and midday and two troughs around 7:30 and 17:00 local time (UTC+5). The mean C,2 is 2.7×10^-15 m^-2/3 and the 25th and 75th percentiles of the C,2 cumulative distribution are 9.6×10^-16 m^-2/3 and 6.2×10^-15 m^-2/3, respectively. Meteorological parameters such as temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, and air pressure are also presented.展开更多
Using physical model and numerical simulation techniques, some technical problems were studied systemati- cally, including layout of power station, measures of sediment and floating debris discharging, types of intake...Using physical model and numerical simulation techniques, some technical problems were studied systemati- cally, including layout of power station, measures of sediment and floating debris discharging, types of intake, embed- ded types of spiral ease, layout of underground powerhouse tunnel group and block reinforcement. It was optimal in technique and economy with the arrangement of powerhouse at the dam-toe of both banks + underground powerhouse in the right bank, as well as the intake with a single and small orifice. The sediment and debris problems could be solved with disperse sediment ejection and floating debris discharging holes. With the adoption of techniques for spiral cases such as heat and pressure preservation, cushion layer and combined embedding, the stable operation of generating units can be guaranteed. The arrangement of tailrace tunnel with sloping ceiling was better than that of tailrace surge tank. The technical requirements related to the embedding type of spiral case were proposed. The reinforcement of huge unfavorable blocks was discussed and the new idea for block reinforcement using anti-sliding piles and normal compressive stress of structural plane was put forward.展开更多

But if one thr...Electric propulsion is used for all electric propulsion satellites to perform the orbit transfer,attitude control and station-keeping tasks. Generally electric propulsion subsystem contains 4 thrusters. But if one thruster fails in the beginning of satellite lifetime,other thrusters will undertake all the firing tasks. The firing time will be 2 to 3 times of thrusters without failure. Thus it may go beyond the allow ed lifetime of thruster. This paper puts forward two thruster redundancy configuration solutions with 6 thrusters to solve this problem. Two layout configurations and their corresponding station-keeping strategies are simulated and compared. The results show that the maximum firing time of both layout configurations can meet the lifetime limitation. This solution is a good reference for all electric propulsion satellites design.展开更多
