Assessment of International GNSS Service Global Ionosphere Map products over China region based on measurements from the Crustal Movement Observation Network of China

The global ionosphere maps(GIM)provided by the International GNSS Service(IGS)are extensively utilized for ionospheric morphology monitoring,scientific research,and practical application.Assessing the credibility of GIM products in data-sparse regions is of paramount importance.In this study,measurements from the Crustal Movement Observation Network of China(CMONOC)are leveraged to evaluate the suitability of IGS-GIM products over China region in 2013-2014.The indices of mean error(ME),root mean square error(RMSE),and normalized RMSE(NRMSE)are then utilized to quantify the accuracy of IGS-GIM products.Results revealed distinct local time and latitudinal dependencies in IGS-GIM errors,with substantially high errors at nighttime(NRMSE:39%)and above 40°latitude(NRMSE:49%).Seasonal differences also emerged,with larger equinoctial deviations(NRMSE:33.5%)compared with summer(20%).A preliminary analysis implied that the irregular assimilation of sparse IGS observations,compounded by China’s distinct geomagnetic topology,may manifest as error variations.These results suggest that modeling based solely on IGS-GIM observations engenders inadequate representations across China and that a thorough examination would proffer the necessary foundation for advancing regional total electron content(TEC)constructions.

Analysis and Prediction of Content Popularity for Online Video Service:A Youku Case Study

Understanding the characteristics and predicting the popularity of the newly published online videos can provide direct implications in various contexts such as service design, advertisement planning, network management and etc. In this paper, we collect a real-world large-scale dataset from a leading online video service provider in China, namely Youku. We first analyze the dynamics of content publication and content popularity for the online video service. Then, we propose a rich set of features and exploit various effective classification methods to estimate the future popularity level of an individual video in various scenarios. We show that the future popularity level of a video can be predicted even before the video's release, and by introducing the historical popularity information the prediction performance can be improved dramatically. In addition, we investigate the importance of each feature group and each feature in the popularity prediction, and further reveal the factors that may impact the video popularity. We also discuss how the early monitoring period influences the popularity level prediction. Our work provides an insight into the popularity of the newly published online videos, and demonstrates promising practical applications for content publishers,service providers, online advisers and network operators.

Public library services to older adults in China:An empirical study based on content analysis

Purpose:The research is undertaken to help the Chinese public libraries answer the growing needs for library services to the elderly.Based on an investigation of the current situation of the services to older adults in China and a comparative analysis of the services in the U.S.,we attempt to explore what improvements the Chinese public libraries can make to better serve the needs of older adults.Design/methodology/approach:We empirically analyzed the older adults services of 271public libraries in China from 2002 to 2011 via content analysis of both the print materials such as the regulations and policies released by these libraries and the related information on the libraries' websites and the Internet Web pages.Findings:Great strides have been made in the Chinese public libraries' services to older adults in constructing service systems,providing facilities and equipment,exploring cooperative programming,and planning diversified and regularly scheduled activities.Compared with American counterparts,however,the Chinese public libraries need to catch up in understanding the elderly people as library users,planning customized services,formulating service guidelines and evaluation systems,and working with other local agencies for cooperative programming for seniors in communities.Research limitations:It is hard to collect more data covering more geographical areas and longer periods of time.The content analysis of libraries' policies and regulations is a very rough approximation of the libraries' 'real' services.The study should be extended to visits to public libraries in the future.Practical implications:This study provides useful information for the Chinese library policymakers to formulate regulations and policies to provide services to older adults.Originality/value:To the best of our knowledge,the comprehensive survey reported in this paper is the first in-depth investigation of the current situation of public library services to older adults in China,providing the analysis framework for more in-depth surveys in the future.

Empirical Analysis on Continuous Improvement of Mobile Content Services＇ Effects on Continuance Use Intention

With the development of intelligent terminals and mobile applications,the influence of continuous improvement on mobile content services to the continuance use intention is more and more significant.Based on the expectation-confirmation theory and information system continuance use theory,this paper proposes a mobile content continuance use model and puts forward related assumptions under the mobile commerce environment by introducing the continuous improvement variables.Questionnaire data are collected from 219 mobile content service users for research,and the hypothetical model is validated by the structural equation modeling.Results show that the information system continuance use model is still valid under the mobile commerce environment,and the continuous improvement on mobile content services have positive impacts on user's expectations after they have experienced certain mobile content services.

Location Based Navigation Service Technology: Development of an Optimization Algorithm for Multivariate Contextual Cartographic Content in Location Based Navigation Service

User response or reaction to navigation applications is influenced by relevance in geographic information, in terms of cartographic context and content delivered within a definite time, providing a direct impact to outcome or consequence based on decision making and hence user reaction. Location Based Navigation Services (LBNS) have continuously advanced in cartographic visualization, making maps interpretation easy and ubiquitous to any user, as compared to pre-historic times when maps were a preserve of a few. Despite rapid growth in LBNS, there exist challenges that may be characterized as technical and non-technical challenges, among them being process of conveying geospatial information to user. LBNS system deliver appropriate information to a user through smartphone (mobile device) for effective decision making and response within a given time span. This research focuses on optimization of cartographic content for contextual information in LBNS to users, based on prevailing circumstances of various components that constitute it. The research looks into Geographic Information Retrieval (GIR), as a technical challenge centered on a non-technical issue of social being of user satisfaction, leading to decision making in LBNS, hence response and outcome. Though advanced technologically, current LBNS on information sourcing depends on user manual web pages navigation and maneuver, this can be painstaking and time consuming that it may cause unnecessary delay in information delivery, resulting to delayed information response time (DIRT). This in turn may lead to unappropriate decision making with erroneous reaction or response being taken, resulting in loss of opportunity, resources, time and even life. Optimization in LBNS is achieved by a mathematical relationship developed between user status, mobile device variables against cartographic content. The relationship is in turn applied in LBNS android application to fulfill optimization solution for user consumption.

A Content Audit Model for Validity of Service in Peer-to-Peer Networks

Validity of service in the service system is significantly affected by reliability of providers and availability of service contents.Most service inspiring schemes in peer-to-peer(P2P) networks associate each provider with reputation or money to ensure provider's reliability so as to improve the availability of service contents.However,these schemes bring considerable risk to consumers when a provider with high reputation or money publishes a malicious service content.Moreover,the number of providers decreases as some providers are rejected while they have unconsciously published one or several polluted contents ever.The risk may spread to more users and cause the collapse of the service system.Recently,some researches have shown that the unconscious polluted contents are over twice as many as the intentional polluted contents.In order to distinguish the unconscious polluted contents from the intentional polluted contents and rescue those correlative users,we propose an audit model based on each service content to improve the validity of services.In our model,each node is associated with money,and each service content is associated with reputation.The unconscious polluted contents are prevented via consumers' evaluation,and the intentional polluted contents and malicious providers are rejected via audit executors' evaluation.Simulation results show that the model improves the ratio of available service contents and reliable providers.

Technological Content of the Import of Services and the Transformation of Growth Patterns of China's Industrial Economy

Based on the latest approach for measuring technology content of import of services and with the contribution of total factor productivity(TFP) to gross industrial output as the indicator for measuring the growth pattern of China's industrial economy,this paper provides an empirical study on the effect of import technology content of trade in services on the development pattern of China's industrial economy between 2004 and2011.Result of econometric test reveals that the technology content of import of services has a significant positive effect on transforming the growth pattern of China's industrial economy.Moreover,import of new types of trade in services with high technology such as computer and information services has a much stronger positive effect compared with import of traditional trade in services with relatively low technology content such as transport.In terms of different industrial sectors,technology content of import of services has the greatest effect on transforming the development pattern of China's technologyintensive industrial sectors,followed by capital-intensive,resource-intensive and laborintensive sectors respectively.Transformation of the development pattern of China's industrial economy cannot be isolated from the system of global division of work.Against the backdrop of global service sector fragmentation,China should take the important opportunities in the development of global trade in services and give more attention to improving the quality of import of services in the interest of transforming the development pattern of its industrial economy.

Master Curve Method of Cumulative Damage for Prediction of Service Life

目的研究固体火箭推进剂药柱贮存使用寿命预测的理论与方法．方法采用非接触测试技术和热加速老化累积损伤法，实测得出药柱空穴率随老化时间变化的等温线，根据时温等效原理求得使用寿命预测粘弹性主曲线．结果与结论预测得出ＨＭＸＣＭＤＢ固体火箭推进剂药柱的使用寿命．由于该方法中药柱贮存失效的临界点是实测的，所以大大地提高了火箭推进剂药柱使用寿命预测的精度．

Authentication and Access Control in RFID Based Logistics-customs Clearance Service Platform

The content security requirements of a radio frequency identification （RFID） based logistics-customs clearance service platform （LCCSP） are analysed in this paper. Then, both the unified identity authentication and the access control modules are designed according to those analyses. Finally, the unified identity authentication and the access control on the business level are implemented separately. In the unified identity authentication module, based on an improved Kerberos-based authentication approach, a new control transfer method is proposed to solve the sharing problem of tickets among different servers of different departments. In the access control module, the functions of access controls are divided into different granularities to make the access control management more flexible. Moreover, the access control module has significant reference value for user management in similar systems.

Research on the One-Stop Information Service Model for University Library

Following the advent of and continuous progress of technology,computer network and information management have gradually being incorporated into the daily operation and management of university libraries all around the world.The service system of university libraries has also transformed from the conventional reference consulting model into a knowledge-based service model.This transformation has improved the professionalism and individualism of university libraries.Therefore,establishing a competent one-stop information service model has significant and important values.In this work,we analyzed the basic functionalities and the feasibility of one-stop information service model for university libraries.We also discussed in details the construction methodology for different modes,for reference only.

Impact of public name resolving services on Akamai

To enhance user perceived performance,Akamai' s content distribution network(CDN) utilizes the domain name system(DNS) effectively to redirect users to close-by content replicas over short time scale.The use of DNS redirection has brought a significant advantage to Akamai' s CDN.However,the reliance on DNS also poses a fundamental threat to Akamai' s content distribution model.In particular,systematic evaluation and quantification illustrates the impact of recent emerging public DNS resolving services on Akamai' s CDN,including the degradation of corresponding user perceived performance and the benefit damnification of collaborating internet services providers(ISPs) that host Akamai's edge servers.The measurement demonstrates that a considerable penetration of public DNS resolving services(e.g.,OpenDNS and GoogleDNS) effectively corrupts the Akamai' s serving model,namely the large-scale server distribution and quick DNS redirection.

Review of urban ecosystem services from 2010 to 2020:An analysis based on CiteSpace

This paper systematically combs 416 literature on urban ecosystem services (UES) in China and other countries from 2010 to 2020,and carefully interprets the abstracts of 383 effective literature.According to the classification method of the research perspectives of ecosystem services proposed by Luederitz C,the literature is divided into six categories:ecology,governance,methods / tools / guidelines,social networking,economy and planning,and Excel and CiteSpace software were used for data statistical analysis and visual processing.The research shows that:in terms of research perspectives,foreign researches are evenly distributed in six categories:ecology,governance,methods / tools / guidelines,social networking,economy and planning,while domestic research perspectives are relatively concentrated in three categories:economy,governance,methods / tools / guidelines,and the proportion of economic category is particularly significant.In terms of research contents,there are more studies on climate governance,decision-making mechanism and method innovation abroad,while there are more studies on the measurement of carbon sequestration and oxygen releasing,the evaluation of ecological security pattern and the quantitative evaluation of UES’s economic value in China,and there are less studies on institutional organization structure and policy tools,innovative methods of UES’s value evaluation,the potential role of UES on some social phenomena,the relationship between UES and residents’ behavior and perception.

喀斯特山地旅游地生态系统文化服务的空间分异及其影响因素——以黔西南州万峰林景区为例

喀斯特山地旅游地是一个典型的社会-生态系统,具有较高的生态系统服务价值,但针对其为公众提供的非物质收益却鲜有研究。该研究以黔西南州万峰林景区为典型案例地,采用Amazon Rekognition图像识别技术,结合社交媒体照片内容分析法、GIS空间分析法、地理探测器模型等方法,识别和分析喀斯特山地旅游地生态系统文化服务(CES)空间分异与影响因素。研究表明:(1)喀斯特山地旅游地具有美学、游憩、生物多样性、地方认同感、文化多元性和教育价值6种CES类型;(2)景区CES均存在显著的空间正相关性,总体CES热点区呈多核心分布态势,主要集聚在景区北部、中部和南部,且面积由北向南逐渐增大,形成了公众感知喀斯特峰林群和布依族文化景观的集聚区,而冷点区则少量集聚在景区中部东北向和南部东南向等区域;(3)距水系距离、距道路距离、高程和NDVI因子是影响总体CES的主导因子,土地利用类型、服务设施密度、村庄密度因子为次要因子,总体CES的多因子交互作用呈现出非线性增强多于双因子增强的交互类型特征,且自然与社会维度交互因子均提高了总体CES空间分异的解释力度。该研究为明晰和提升公众对喀斯特山地旅游地生态系统的非物质收益和社会文化福祉提供了实践参考。

高校科技人才服务现状调查与分析——以重庆市高校为例

科技人力资源是建设科技强国的核心资源。高校科技人才是科技人才队伍的重要组成部分。创新高校科技人才服务机制,激发高校科技人才的创新潜能具有重要现实意义。文章以重庆市高校科技人才和科技服务者为研究对象,利用文本挖掘、问卷调查和访谈等方法对高校科技人才服务现状进行分析。研究结果表明,高校科技人才服务存在服务制度需强化、服务内容待深化等问题,并由此对完善高校科技人才服务机制提出建议。

面向科技情报服务的内容安全关键技术体系研究

保障内容安全是做好科技情报服务的重要基础工作。开展面向科技情报服务的内容安全关键技术体系研究,对于保障科技信息资源内容安全、提供优质科技情报服务具有重要意义。针对科技情报服务全过程面临的内容安全防护需求,提出了以内容比对数据等基础保障为支撑,涵盖内容安全审核、开源风险监测、智能监控预警3个维度的内容安全关键技术体系,设计并研发了相关的内容安全防护功能。该研究可为提升科技情报服务全过程内容安全管理水平和效率提供参考借鉴。
