The controller suggested by the proposed method has such a promising property that it can be used for the cases of different values of an input time delay without redesign of controller. This property provides the potential for stabilizing the dynamic system with a time-varying input delay. Consequently, the application of the proposed method to the dynamic system with a slowly time-varying delay is discussed. As the communication between the UUVs is difficult and it is easy to be interfered under the water, time delay is assumed to be time-varying during the members communicate with each other. Meanwhile, the state feedback linearization method is used to transfer the nonlinear and coupling model of UUV into double-integrator dynamic. With this simplified double-integrator math model, the UUV formation coordinate control is regarded as consensus problem with time-varying communication delays. In addition, the position and velocity topologies are adapted to reduce the data volume in each data packet which is sent between members in formation. With two independent topologies designed, two cases of communication delay which are same and different are considered and the sufficient conditions are proposed and analyzed. The stability of the multi-UUVs formation is proven by using Lyapunov-Razumilkhin theorem. Finally, the simulation results are presented to confirm and illustrate the theoretical results.展开更多

By constructing a suitable Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional with triple and four integral terms and by using Jensen's inequality, a new delay-dependent stability criterion is derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities(LMIs) to ensure the asymptotic stability of the equilibrium point of the considered neural networks. Instead of the continuous measurement, the sampled measurement is used to estimate the neuron states, and a sampled-data estimator is constructed. Due to the delay-dependent method, a significant source of conservativeness that could be further reduced lies in the calculation of the time-derivative of the Lyapunov functional. The relationship between the time-varying delay and its upper bound is taken into account when estimating the upper bound of the derivative of Lyapunov functional. As a result, some less conservative stability criteria are established for systems with two successive delay components. Finally, numerical example is given to show the superiority of proposed method.展开更多

Based on the precise integration method, an algorithm of symplectic conservative perturbation is presented. It gives a uniform way to solve the linear quadratic control (LQ control) problems for linear timevarying systems accurately and efficiently, whose key points are solutions of differential Riccati equation (DRE) with variable coefficients and the state feedback equation. The method is symplectic conservative and has a good numerical stability and high precision. Numerical examples demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.展开更多

In this paper, a nonlinear system with matched and mismatched disturbances is considered. The conventional extended state observer (ESO) can only be applied to systems that are in the form of integral chains. Moreover, this method has limitations in the face of mismatched disturbances. In the presence of time-varying disturbances, the traditional ESOs cannot estimate the disturbances accurately. To overcome this limitation, an EANESO is proposed in this paper. The main idea is to design the nonlinear ESO (NESO) to estimate the states of the system and multiple disturbances simultaneously. The observer gains are considered time-varying and adjusted with adaptation laws to improve the estimation accuracy and overcome the peaking phenomenon. Next, the proposed controller is designed based on output feedback to eliminate the effects of multiple disturbances and stabilize the closed-loop system. Subsequently, the stability analysis of the closed-loop system and convergence of the observer error are discussed. Finally, the proposed method is applied to the inverted pendulum system. The simulated results show good performance of the proposed method as compared with a recently published scheme in the related literature.展开更多

Moreover, with the practical constraint that perfect channel state information (CSI) cannot be obtained in time-varying channel, the resource allocation problem will become more difficult. In this paper, an efficient resource allocation algorithm is proposed in LTE uplink SC-FDMA system with imperfect CSI assumption. Firstly, the resource allocation problem is formulated as a mixed integer programming problem. Then an efficient algorithm based on discrete stochastic optimization is proposed to solve the problem. Finally, simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has desirable system performance.展开更多
