RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE RISE AND DECLINE OF ANCIENT LOULAN TOWN AND ENVIRONMENTAL CHANGES

Located in the central Asia, ancient Loullan Town was a place of strategic importance to the ancient SilkRoad. According to the historical records, it was flourishing during the period from the second century B. C. to the thirdcentury A. D. However, it was disrecorded suddenly 1400 years ago. Until 1900 it was discovered by a Swedish exploration party. The ruins of Loulan is situated on the west bank of Lop Nur Lake and the delta of the Tarim River (40°29’55’’N, 89°55’22"E), and occupies an area of 108 240 m2. Two main tributaries of the Tarim River passed by its northernand southern sides respectively and converged into Lop Nur Lake about 100 km eastward. Human civilization of the Loulan Town had been developed in the Stone Age, which was revealed by a lot of stone implements found in the ration, andthe discovery of the corpse of "Loulan Beauty" proved the continuity of economic development. During several centuriesaround the Christian era, Loulan had become a place of strategic importance on the Silk Road because its superior geographical position and natural conditions. The decline of ancient Loulan Town was caused by natural change of the rivercourses and rapid environmental deterioration.

Construction of the Sense of Belonging of Place Spirit in the Renovation of Historical Blocks: A Case Study of Ancient Town Street of Ming and Qing Dynasties in Hekou, Qianshan

The renovation of historical blocks often stays at the material level of buildings, ignoring the deeper spiritual level, which can not arouse people’s sense of belonging to the city memory. Based on the protection of local Qianshan area culture, taking Hekou ancient town street of Ming and Qing Dynasty as an example, with the construction of place spirit and sense of belonging as the primary goal, and combining the history and culture of the city, the current situation of the streets and the characteristics of the buildings, this paper put forward the relevant renovation measures to provide a kind of thinking for the refined and rational renovation of the blocks in the future.

Research on Protection and Development of Traditional Ancient Towns in Southern Sichuan of China—A Case Study of Luocheng Ancient Town in China

Through the field study on Luocheng Town that is a traditional ancient town in Southern Sichuan,the paper has concluded existing resources and current situation of it.After the illustration of the general situation and protection value of Luocheng ancient town,it has analyzed the protection situation and existing problems,and considered that its landscape and environment has been seriously destroyed and architectures have been damaged gravely,protection capitals are lacked and the publicity of ancient towns protection is insufficient.In view of above problems,constructive suggestions have been proposed for the protection and development of ancient towns.It should conduct reasonable protection and planning,adjust functional structure of ancient towns,retain the completeness and integrity of ancient towns,and enhance and improve residents' protection consciousness,so as to promote the protection and sustainable development of traditional ancient towns in Southern Sichuan.

Reconstruction of Place Spirit in the Street Protection of Hekou Town of Qianshan

Place spirit originates from ancient Rome, and emphasizes whole fusion of objective material environment and subjective consciousness. The introduction of "place spirit" concept in protection work of old town is conducive to further understanding complex relationship between reconstruction of objective material environment and reappearance of traditional culture connotation. The street of Hekou Town of Qianshan is historical one, and its protection and planning are conducting. The street is full of rich marketplace breath and has certain feature. In this paper, started from protection status quo of Hekou Town, we preliminarily discuss how to effectively pass historical information in the protection process and maintain place spirit of old town in modern living environment.

The Analysis of Pingyao Ancient Town Street Spaces and View Spots Reachability by Space Syntax

The Pingyao ancient town is one of the four largest ancient cities in China. This study analyzes street spaces characteristic and view spots reachability of the Pingyao ancient town using space syntax. Then, it is concluded that the integration and reachability of street spaces are relatively higher in the northern ancient town;the accessibility among street spaces is relatively higher in the northeastern ancient town;and most of the ancient town street spaces are very open. Furthermore, the reachability of 14 view spots and their 4 corresponding street spaces is relatively higher in the 20 view spots and their 9 corresponding street spaces. Finally, some suggestions are presented to the tourism development of Pingyao ancient town based on the above conclusions.

Research on the Space Quality Change of Ancient Luanzhou Town

Restoration and protection of ancient towns is an essential approach and a material carrier of inheriting cultural context,realizing economic transformation,revitalizing the tertiary industry,building a strong county and making a better life for peoples.This paper took Ancient Luanzhou Town in Luanzhou City,Tangshan of Hebei for example,used Photoshop to compare different elements of the town in pictures taken from Baidu Street View in 2014 and 2016,and calculated weights and scores of different elements using yaahp software.Based on this,the paper analyzed the space development tendency of Ancient Luanzhou Town,evaluated the changes of its space quality,and proposed suggestions for the improvement of space quality.

Smart Photogrammetric and Remote Sensing Image Processing for Very High Resolution Optical Images——Examples from the CRC-AGIP Lab at UNB

This paper introduces some of the image processing techniques developed in the Canada Research Chair in Advanced Geomatics Image Processing Laboratory (CRC-AGIP Lab) and in the Department of Geodesy and Geomatics Engineering (GGE) at the University of New Brunswick (UNB), Canada. The techniques were developed by innovatively/“smartly” utilizing the characteristics of the available very high resolution optical remote sensing images to solve important problems or create new applications in photogrammetry and remote sensing. The techniques to be introduced are: automated image fusion (UNB-PanSharp), satellite image online mapping, street view technology, moving vehicle detection using single set satellite imagery, supervised image segmentation, image matching in smooth areas, and change detection using images from different viewing angles. Because of their broad application potential, some of the techniques have made a global impact, and some have demonstrated the potential for a global impact.

Landscape Spatial Characteristics of Streets and Lanes in Traditional Towns of Sichuan and Chongqing in China

The physical space and viewing perception of streets and lanes in traditional towns of Sichuan and Chongqing in China are deeply influenced by the terrain conditions of the area.The adaptation of the geographical environment with the change of the terrain height difference creates rich spatial rhythm changes in the spatial continuity and opening and closing processing of streets and lanes.The aspect ratio of building elevation and street front of frontage makes the street and lane scale adapt to the different functional requirements of business and life.At the same time,the changeable terrain height difference creates the composition level of street landscape perception of close shot,medium shot and long shot,which constitutes the unique regional charm of streets and lanes in traditional towns of Sichuan and Chongqing.

Design Strategy of Street Space Micro Renewal: A Case Study of Baihuazhou District of Nanchang City

Against the backdrop of incremental planning moving towards stock planning, strengtheningurban public space design to promote high-quality urban development has become a focus of attentionfor domestic scholars. Street is a linear element of urban public space, and it is of great significance forimproving the quality of urban public space by studying the micro renewal design strategy of street space.Based on the interpretation of two urban renewal cases, Wangjing Street in Beijing and Mengzhuiwan inChengdu, taking Baihuazhou area in Nanchang City as an example, this paper analyzes the main problemsin the current situation of street space in Baihuazhou area from three aspects: space use, traffic organization,and waterfront space creation, and explores the micro renewal design strategy of the street space.

Space Changes in the Rural Tourism Area of Mufu Town,Hubei Province,China

In a society dominated by tourism consumption,space changes occurring in rural areas can generally reflect their social changes.On the theoretical basis of flow,regeneration and adaptation of rural tourism space,this paper originally and creatively proposes that the spatial elements in a rural tourist area can be classified into three categories:Attractions(A),Towns(T)and Villages(V).By analyzing the spatial transformation characteristics of A,T and V,five types of rural spatial transition modes are found,the types of heritage,theme park,those serving as scenic spots,leisure industrial clusters and ecotourism areas.These different classes emerge due to their geographical differentiation.They show the same spatial evolution trend:The Attractions are distributed throughout the whole area and characterized by diversification;supporting services facilities gather in the Towns;and the Villages are landscape images.In this area the traditional rural benefit trends toward that of compound development.Mufu Town,Hubei province,is taken as a study case,and the changing characteristics of A,T and V from 2006 to 2016 are described.Problems in the process of establishing the new spatial order are considered.In order to realize the synergy between production space,living space and ecological space,the interactive development between Attractions,Towns and Villages is recommended.The perspective of Attraction-Town-Village(ATV)can lead to a better understanding of the situation of tourism space in rural areas and provide directions for thinking about the reconstruction path for the modernization of traditional societies.

古镇古街中的“换装秀”:一种新古典结构功能论的分析

在文化旅游产业繁荣发展的背景下,传统古镇古街历史文化景区中以汉服和少数民族服饰为主的换装式旅行体验持续“高热”。从新古典结构功能论的三个维度展开来看上演在古镇古街的“换装秀”:首先,从本体结构维度来看,其实质是以中国传统服饰遗产为本体的文化展演,传统服饰历经漫长的岁月演变,具有极大的观赏性、体验性以及历史文化价值,是一种独特的文化资源与文化资本,在现代社会中蕴含较大的创造潜力;其次,从其外在结构来看,处于古镇古街中的传统服饰并非一成不变,受古镇古街及其他外在条件的影响,其结构与功能随之更新,成为古镇古街文化旅游的一部分,可以在古镇古街的文化场景中实现自身创造性转化与可持续发展;最后,从其自生结构来看,传统服饰遗产在“传统—现代”转化中具有一定的自主能动性,具有吸引和配置资源的结构功能,由换装体验可以在古镇古街中自主衍生出一系列相关产业,带动古镇古街产业拓展与集聚,形成具有一定规模的结构性产业集群,实现传统服饰遗产在古镇古街中的活化利用与深入拓展。

空间句法视角下的犍为清溪古镇街巷空间结构分析

乐山市犍为清溪古镇位于西南丝绸之路重要支线——“沐源川道”上,古时是重要的驿站古镇。而古镇的街巷空间结构作为其“骨架”,具有特殊的地域文化与自然地理特征,同时承载着重要的历史信息。文章以犍为清溪古镇为例,通过运用空间句法量化方法对古镇的街巷空间进行量化分析,对古镇的规划建设提出参考建议。

民族旅游地游客的地方信任变动及主体响应策略

在地方消费与情感消费叠加的背景下,地方信任日渐成为民族旅游地的新型旅游资源,关系到其可持续发展以及民族间的交往交流交融。文章以凤凰古城作为典型案例地,通过深度访谈、非参与式观察、网络民族志等质性研究方法开展实证分析,研究发现:游客的地方信任具有鲜明的变动性,具体表现为时空变动性与结构变动性两个层面。时空变动性在时间层面意味着在旅游前、旅游中以及旅游后的时间维度上,游客的地方信任账户因游客的地方想象与临场体验的不断协商而有所变动,在空间层面上体现为游客的地方信任在虚拟空间与现实空间之间双向迁移。结构变动性在信任状态层面处于信与不信交织的状态,在信任对象层面表现为地方品牌信任、旅游消费信任、地方政府信任之间互相传递,形成一幅由不同情境、不同信任对象、不同信任状态拼贴而成的马赛克式信任景观。游客、商家、地方政府分别采取自我应对与协同应对、主动履行公民责任、给予制度保障等策略以响应动态变化的地方信任。

更新治理模式迭代下历史文化街区的形态变迁研究——以惠州水东街为例

本文梳理了广东省惠州市惠城区水东街在20世纪80年代以来不同时期的城市更新治理模式下街区空间形态的变迁。通过对相关规划和更新文本的解读,研究根据更新治理模式中政府、市场、居民三者之间的合作关系与相对应的更新措施,将水东街的更新分为3个阶段—从基于复杂产权的碎片化维系,到房地产导向的局部重建,再到多维度的保护性更新,并从平面肌理、空间功能、立面风貌、公共空间形态等方面对街区形态的变迁进行了历时性分析,建立起与更新治理的联系。

基于空间句法的罗城古镇街巷空间结构解读

本文基于空间句法理论,完善罗城古镇街巷空间的量化研究。选取关键性指标,对古镇的街巷空间结构进行解读。结果显示:1.船型街是罗城古镇的线状空间组构核心,以船型街为代表的主街空间活力高,街道功能属性多元,反映其场所记忆;2.历史文化节点多围绕船型街进行布置,反映了古镇历史、经济、文化活动的状况;3.罗城古镇的空间组织和生长逻辑受商业活动的影响重大,二者相互促进,形成如今的空间格局。最后,文章提出了保持风貌、再现场景的旅游开发策略。

基于分形理论的赤水河中下游传统古镇街巷空间地界面形态研究

随着城镇化进程的推进,传统古镇日趋衰落,如何保护和延续其独特的街巷空间形态已引起广泛关注。地界面作为构成传统古镇整体形态肌理的“骨架”,记录了古镇的历史发展、文化传承以及居民的生活记忆。然而,经过长期的局部更新,古镇街巷空间地界面的尺度失去了控制,致使街巷空间形态的识别率逐渐降低。鉴于传统古镇街巷空间的复杂性和地域性,文章基于分形理论的方法,结合数理统计学对古镇街巷空间地界面的形态特征和演变规律进行量化解析,研究所得的分析结果和量化指标可为传统古镇街巷空间地界面形态的保护提供数据支撑和判断依据。

景区依托型乡镇国土空间规划方法探索——以浙江丽水市仙都街道为例

当前全国各地国土空间规划编制工作正如火如荼地开展,在此背景下,本文梳理景区依托型乡镇的概念及发展阶段,试图以当前面临的困扰与问题为前提,构建景区依托型乡镇国土空间规划的目标框架与重点工作体系,并结合浙江省丽水市缙云县仙都街道的规划实践来探索该类型乡镇规划的实际工作方法,从生态安全、资源整合、产业赋能、落地管控等方面为景区依托型乡镇的国土空间探寻一套更坚守资源、更关注统筹、更注重融合、更强化管控的针对性解决路径。

县级以下公共图书馆的发展现状及对策研究——基于中山市镇、村的调研分析

县级以下公共图书馆以乡(镇街)、村(社区)两级公共图书馆为主,它们往往是县级馆的基层分馆,是公共图书馆服务体系的“神经末梢”,其发展程度影响公共图书馆服务体系的服务效能。文章通过实地调研中山市具有代表性的2个镇街图书馆和2个村图书室,同时结合文献调研、网络调研,发现我国县级以下公共图书馆发展成效显著,但村图书室仍是公共图书馆服务网络的薄弱环节,社会力量加入公共文化服务也给管理者带来新的挑战。对此,提出要通过政府优化顶层设计,分类推进公共图书馆基层分馆(服务点)建设;公共图书馆要加快智慧图书馆建设,丰富公共文化供给;建立以各级政府公共财政投入为主、社会投入为辅的多元投入渠道,完善经费保障体制。

小城镇街道设计评价与更新策略研究——以枝江市董市镇为例

小城镇是新型城镇化发展中的重要组成部分,小城镇街道是市民日常生活的重要载体。街道设计导则是对多要素、多管理模式的街道空间的有效统一路径。通过解读国内外街道设计导则主要内容及设计要素,梳理出适合小城镇街道更新中的设计要点,构建评价模型。文章以枝江市董市镇为研究对象,通过李克特量表法量化设计评价,总结现状问题,从搭建街道反馈机制及营造和谐人居环境方面提出街道更新策略,旨在为改善城镇街道空间品质、实现居民美好生活愿景提供理论借鉴。
