二组分体作为一种信号转导系统在细菌中普遍存在,能够感知外界环境变化并做出应答。细菌中Cck A/Ctr A、Arc A/Arc B和Pho P/Pho Q二组分体与DNA复制起始和细胞分裂相关,但目前还未见Tor S/Tor R二组分体对细胞周期及DNA复制影响的相关... 二组分体作为一种信号转导系统在细菌中普遍存在,能够感知外界环境变化并做出应答。细菌中Cck A/Ctr A、Arc A/Arc B和Pho P/Pho Q二组分体与DNA复制起始和细胞分裂相关,但目前还未见Tor S/Tor R二组分体对细胞周期及DNA复制影响的相关报道。大肠杆菌Tor S/Tor R二组分体能够监测细胞周围氧化三甲胺(Trimethylamine oxide,TMAO)的浓度变化,但其是否影响DNA复制起始呢?文章利用流式细胞仪检测了Δtor S和Δtor R突变体菌株的复制式样。结果发现,Δtor S突变菌株每个细胞复制起始原点数目和倍增时间与野生型细胞一致,而Δtor R突变菌株每个细胞复制起始原点数目多于野生型细胞,说明复制起始发生时间比野生型细胞早。但是过表达Tor R蛋白或者共同表达Tor S和Tor R蛋白都不能使Δtor R突变体表型恢复为野生型表型。而在野生型和Δtor R突变细胞中过表达Suf D蛋白能使复制起始提早发生,在Δtor R和Δsuf D双突变细胞中复制起始延迟。所以,Tor R可能通过改变suf D基因的表达来间接影响染色体复制起始。 展开更多

The essential principles of the third theory of quantification are discussed, the concept and calculated method of reaction degree are put forward which extend the ap- plying range and scientificalness of the primary reaction. Taking the Zhongmacun Mine as example, on the base of analyzing the rules of gas geology synthetically and travers- ing the geological factors infecting coal and gas outburst, the paper adopts the method of combining carving up statistical units with the third theory of quantification, screens out 8 sensitive geological factors from 11 geological indexes and carries through the work of gas geology regionalism to the exploited area of Zhongmacun according to the researching result. The practice shows that it is feasible to apply the third theory of quantification to gas geology, which offers a new thought to screen the sensitive geo- logical factors of gas outburst forecast. 展开更多

Extraction of Partial Discharge Acoustic Signal by Wavelet Transform with Teager′s Energy Operator

To develop a measurement system for monitoring partial discharge (PD) without the effect of external interferences,an algorithm of PD signal extraction based on wavelet transform with Teager's energy operators was presented. Acoustic signal generated by PD was selected to remove excessive interfering signals and electromagnetic interferences. Acoustic signals were collected and decomposed into I0 levels by wavelet transform into approximation and detail components. “Daubechies 25” was proved to be the most suitable mother wavelet for the extraction of PD acoustic signals. Compared with conventional wavelet denoising method, Teager's energy operators were adopted to the PD signal reconstruction and the signal to noise ratio was in creased by 20%-25% inthe experiment,without lost in energy and pulse amplitude. 展开更多

A unified charge-based model for fully depleted silicon-on-insulator (SOI) metal oxide semiconductor field-effect transistors (MOSFETs) is presented. The proposed model is accurate and applicable from intrinsic to heavily doped channels with various structure parameters. The framework starts from the one-dimensional Poisson Boltzmann equa- tion, and based on the full depletion approximation, an accurate inversion charge density equation is obtained. With the inversion charge density solution, the unified drain current expression is derived, and a unified terminal charge and intrinsic capacitance model is also derived in the quasi-static case. The validity and accuracy of the presented analytic model is proved by numerical simulations. 展开更多

The reversibly red (R)/far-red (FR)-Iight-responsive phytochrome (phy) photosensory system initiates both the deetiolation process in dark-germinated seedlings upon first exposure to light, and the shade-avoidance process in fully deetiolated seedlings upon exposure to vegetational shade. The intracellular signaling pathway from the light-activated photoreceptor conformer (Pfr) to the transcriptional network that drives these responses involves direct, physical inter- action of Pfr with a small subfamily of bHLH transcription factors, termed Phy-lnteracting Factors (PIFs), which induces rapid PIF proteolytic degradation. In addition, there is evidence of further complexity in light-grown seedlings, whereby phyB-PIF interaction reciprocally induces phyB degradation, in a mutually-negative, feedback-loop configuration. Here, to assess the relative contributions of these antagonistic activities to the net phenotypic readout in light-grown seedlings, we have examined the magnitude of the light- and simulated-shade-induced responses of a pentuple phyBpiflpif3pif4pif5 (phyBpifq) mutant and various multiple pif-mutant combinations. The data (1) reaffirm that phyB is the predominant, if not exclusive, photoreceptor imposing the inhibition of hypocotyl elongation in deetiolating seedlings in response to pro- longed continuous R irradiation and (2) show that the PIF quartet (PIF1, PIF3, PIF4, and PIF5) retain and exert a dual capacity to modulate hypocotyl elongation under these conditions, by concomitantly promoting cell elongation through intrinsic transcriptional-regulatory activity, and reducing phyB-inhibitory capacity through feedback-loop-induced phyB degrada- tion. In shade-exposed seedlings, immunoblot analysis shows that the shade-imposed reduction in Pfr levels induces increases in the abundance of PIF3, and mutant analysis indicates that PIF3 acts, in conjunction with PIF4 and PIF5, to promote the known shade-induced acceleration of hypocotyl elongation. Conversely, although the quadruple pifq mutant displays clearly reduced hypocotyl elongation compared to wild-type in response to prolonged shade, immunoblot analysis detects no elevation in phyB levels in the mutant seedlings compared to the wild-type during the majority of the shade-induced growth period, and phyB levels are not robustly correlated with the growth phenotype across the pif-mutant combinations compared. These results suggest that PIF feedback modulation of phyB abundance does not play a dominant role in modulating the magnitude of the PIF-promoted, shade-responsive phenotype under these conditions. In seedlings grown under diurnal light-dark cycles, the data show that FR-pulse-induced removal of Pfr at the beginning of the dark period (End-of-Day-FR (EOD-FR) treatment) results in longer hypocotyls relative to no EOD-FR treatment and that this effect is attenuated in the pif-mutant combinations tested. This result similarly indicates that the PIF quartet members are capable of intrinsically promoting hypocotyl cell elongation in light-grown plants, independently of the effects of PIF feedback modulation of photoactivated-phyB abundance. 展开更多

Objective:To compare sleep-related outcomes in obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) patients following base of tongue resection via robotic surgery and endoscopic midline glossectomy.Methods:This was a retrospective study.A total of 114 robotic and 37 endoscopic midline glossectomy surgeries were performed between July 2010 and April 2015 as part of single or multilevel surgery.Patients were excluded for indications other than sleep apnea or if complete sleep studies were not obtained.Thus,45 robotic and 16 endoscopic surgeries were included in the analysis.Results:In the robotic surgery group there were statistically significant improvements in AHI [(44.4 ± 22.6) events/h-(14.0 ± 3.0) events/h,P < 0.001] Epworth Sleepiness Scale (12.3 ± 4.6 to 4.5 ± 2.9,P < 0.001),and O2 nadir (82.0% ± 6.1% to 85.0% ± 5.4%,P < 0.001).In the endoscopic group there were also improvements in AHI (48.7 ± 30.2 to 27.4 ± 31.9,P =0.06),Epworth Sleepiness Scale (12.6 ± 5.5 to 8.3 ± 4.5,P =0.08),and O2 nadir (80.2% ± 8.6% to 82.7% ± 6.5%,P =0.4).Surgical success rate was 75.6% and 56.3% in the robotic and endoscopic groups,respectively.Greater volume of tissue removed was predictive of surgical success in the robotic cases (10.3 vs.8.6 ml,P =0.02).Conclusions:Both robotic surgery and endoscopic techniques for tongue base reduction improve objective measures of sleep apnea.Greater success rates may be achieved with robotic surgery compared to traditional methods. 展开更多

Objective:The present study is a review of transoral robotic surgery (TORS) for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS).Methods:The review presents the experience of the robotic center that developed the technique with regards to patient selection,surgical method,and post-operative care.In addition,the review provides results of a systematic review and meta-analysis of the complications and clinical outcomes of TORS when applied in the management of OSAHS.Results:The rate of success,defined as 50% reduction of pre-operative AHI and an overall AHI <20 events/h,is achieved in up to 76.6% of patients with a range between 53.8% and 83.3%.The safety of this approach is reasonable as the main complication (bleeding) affected 4.2% of patients (range 4.2%-5.3%).However,transient dysphagia (7.2%;range 5%-14%) does compromise the quality of life and must be discussed with patients preoperatively.Conclusions:TORS for the treatment of OSAHS appears to be a promising and safe procedure for patients seeking an alternative to traditional therapy.Appropriate patient selection remains an important consideration for successful implementation of this novel surgical approach requiring further research. 展开更多

With the development of more/all electrical aircraft technology, an electro-mechanical actuator(EMA) is more and more used in an aircraft actuation system. The motor system, as the crucial part of an EMA, usually adopts the redundancy technology or fault tolerance technology to improve the reliability. To compare the performances of these two motor systems, a 10-pole/12-slot six-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM) is designed with the concentrated single-layer winding, which is able to operate at dual-redundant and fault tolerant modes.Furthermore, the position servo performances of the six-phase PMSM at dual-redundant and fault tolerant modes are analyzed, including the normal and fault conditions. In addition, a variable structure proportional-integral-derivative(PID) control strategy is proposed to solve the performance degradation problem caused by phase current saturation. Simulation and experimental results show that the fault tolerant PMSM has a better position servo performance than the dual-redundant PMSM, and the variable structure PID control strategy is able to improve the performance due to phase current saturation. 展开更多
