The Mediating Effect of Social Media on the Relationship Between Travel Preference and Tourist Behavior of Local Tourists in Davao City

This paper aims to determine the mediating effect of social media on the relationship between travel behavior and tourist preference.This paper utilized the mediation analysis design to determine whether social media significantly affects the independent and dependent variables.For the statistical tools,the proponents of the study utilized descriptive statistics,Sobel’s test,mean and standard deviation.Also,the proponents of the study utilized data from questionnaires gathered through an online google form.Most of the respondents are single females,college-level,and use Facebook most of the time.Therefore,this is the social media platform that the majority utilize.It has been revealed in the study the three sets of correlated variables:Travel behavior vs.tourist behavior,travel preference vs.social media,and social media vs.tourist behavior,have a strong positive linear relationship between the two quantitative variables.Thus,the study proponents concluded that there is an indirect effect between the travel preference and tourist behavior of local tourists in Davao City via social media.Lastly,the study’s findings reveal the fundamentals of how visitors make decisions,which are essential for enhancing the competitive advantages of cultural destinations.Significant findings from the study are beneficial to the growth of cultural tourism in Davao City.

Extension of Goal-Directed Behavior Model for Post-Pandemic Korean Travel Intentions to Alternative Local Destinations: Perceived Risk and Knowledge

Since the outbreak of COVID-19,tourists have been increasingly concerned over various risks of international travel,while knowledge of the pandemic appears to vary significantly.In addition,as travel restrictions continue to impact adversely on international tourism,tourism efforts should be placed more on the domestic markets.Via structural equation modeling,this study unearthed different risk factors impacting Korean travelers’choices of alternative local destinations in the post-pandemic era.In addition,this study extended the goal-directed behavior framework with the acquisition of perceived risk and knowledge of COVID-19,which was proven to hold a sig-nificantly superior explanatory power of tourists’decisions of local alternatives over foreign countries during the COVID-19 pandemic.Furthermore,desire was found to play an imminent mediating role in the conceptual mod-el,maximizing the impact of perceived risk on travel intentions.Henceforth,this research offers meaningful the-oretical implication as thefirst empirical study to deepen the goal-directed behaviour framework with perceived risk and knowledge in the context of post-COVID-19 era.It also serves as insightful knowledge for Korean tour-ism authorities and practitioners to understand local tourists’decision-making processes and tailor effective recovery strategy for domestic tourism.

基于线性密集台阵的2023年甘肃积石山M_(S)6.2地震断层低速带研究

2023年12月18日,甘肃省积石山县发生M_(S)6.2逆冲型地震。该地震发生在祁连活动地块拉脊山北缘断裂带,在断裂两侧曾发生过20余次5级左右中强地震,地震活动频次高,因此研究拉脊山断裂带特征具有重要意义。根据拉脊山断裂走向和此次地震余震分布,在刘集乡布设一条线性密集台阵,利用不同方位的余震事件计算体波的走时延时和放大效应。结果表明,P波和S波分别存在6个采样点(约0.012 s)和15个采样点(约0.03 s)的走时延时,推断出台阵西侧存在一个约150 m宽近似垂直的断层低速带,且该结果与远震P波相似性系数矩阵结果一致。

Chinese New Year holiday has ignited a new round of consumption boom.During the eight-day holiday,China experienced an estimated 474 million domestic travel trips,China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism reported.The number of trips marked the 34.3%increase from the year prior and a 19%jump from 2019.According to government figures,domestic tourists spent over 632.687 billion yuan,an increase of 7.7%compared to holiday spending in 2019 and a 47.3%year-over-year hike.China witnessed approximately 6.83 million cross-border tourists during the holiday period,with about 3.6 million outbound tourists and 3.23 million inbound tourists.

Beyond Tourist Gaze in Select Odia Travel Writings of Gobinda Das, Golakbihari Dhal and Pratibha Ray

This paper focuses the question： What does it mean to be a traveller rather than a tourist？ The term “tourism” ismostlyused in impersonal commercial language but “travel” often implies the personal, picaresque style of travel writing. The travellerbeing the hero of the text and the tourist as an unfortunate by-product of globalisation highlight the formation of the important binary opposites through the identity/difference logic.Travel writers deprecate the behaviour of tourists and go for a more authentic way to engage with cultural contrastfor a more concrete example of otherness. The primary texts taken for this study are the select Odia travel writers： GobindaDas’sDese Dese （In Countries）, GolakbihariDhal’sLondon Chithi （Letter From London）, and Pratibha Ray’s Swapnara Alaska （Dreamy Alaska） and Africa NayikaNilanadi （Africa’s Heroine the River Nile）.

基于零模行波S变换时频矩阵的配电网单相接地故障定位方法

为提高配电网发生单相接地故障时的定位精度,提出一种基于电压零模行波S变换时频矩阵的选线和定位方法。首先,将各条馈线末端行波检测装置测得的行波信号解耦,得到故障电压零模行波;然后,在主馈线、一级和二级分支支路等特殊位置设置故障,得到对应故障位置的S变换时频矩阵,建立确定故障支路的对比库;最后,将故障零模电压行波S变换时频矩阵与对比库中数据进行相似度对比,确定单相接地故障发生的馈线和所在支路,针对不同性质支路选取适应性最优的定位方法,实现配电网单相接地故障的精确定位。仿真结果表明:该方法的定位准确度高,且无须全网配备行波检测装置便能够实现配电网单相接地故障的精确定位。

“旅游者生成内容”对旅游意向的影响机制研究——基于SOR-TAM整合模型的实证研究

在社交网络不断渗透日常生活的今天,很少有研究关注网络社交平台中旅游者生成内容对旅游意向的影响。文章以SOR理论模型为基础,探讨在网络社交平台中旅游者生成内容的刺激下,经过感知信任和感知有用性的认知评价,进而促进旅游意向的过程。通过对303名旅游者进行问卷调查,分析旅游者生成内容如何影响旅游意向。回归分析结果表明,网络社交平台中的旅游者生成内容的丰富性、及时性、互动性、娱乐性对旅游意向的直接效应显著;也会通过感知信任和感知有用性产生间接效应。文章丰富了旅游者生成内容研究领域的成果,也为旅游业的社交网络营销策略提供了一定指导和建议。

Manual Order Picking Route Optimization in Distribution Warehouse of Chain Furniture Retail Enterprise

Due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and the rise of online shopping, the offline sales of IKEA Fuzhou have been declining since 2020. Because the cost of distribution warehouse is a major expense for offline chain furniture retailers, and the picking process is a key activity in distribution warehouse operations. To reduce the cost of distribution warehouse and alleviate the survival pressure of the offline chain furniture retailers, this paper focuses on optimizing the picking route of the IKEA Fuzhou distribution warehouse. It starts by creating a two-dimensional coordinate system for the storage location of the distribution warehouse using the traditional S-type picking strategy to calculate the distance and time of the sorting route. Then, the problem of optimizing the picking route is then transformed into the travelling salesman problem (TSP), and picking route optimization model is developed using a genetic algorithm to analyze the sorting efficiency and picking route optimization. Results show that the order-picking route using the genetic algorithm strategy is significantly better than the traditional S-type picking strategy, which can improve overall sorting efficiency and operations, reduce costs, and increase efficiency. Thus, this establishes an implementation process for the order-picking path based on genetic algorithm optimization to improve overall sorting efficiency and operations, reduce costs, increase efficiency, and alleviate the survival pressure of pandemic-affected enterprises.

S-O-R理论框架下传统村落品牌“商品化”路径探析——以张谷英村为例

打造传统村落地方品牌并将其转化为实际效益,是实现乡村旅游活化的有效途径。基于S-O-R理论,构建研究理论框架,以湖南岳阳张谷英村为例,运用结构方程模型进行定量实证分析,结果表明:传统村落品牌“商品化”进程涵盖了品牌价值提升、文化价值延伸、经济效益转化三部分;传统村落地方品牌建构对游客消费行为起间接影响作用,地方依恋是沟通地方品牌建构与游客消费行为的“桥梁”,其中介效应得到了验证;为实现地方品牌价值向经济效益的有效转化,应当深度挖掘传统村落文化内涵,注重保护乡土景观,完善食宿消费服务体系,使单一产业转向多产业模式发展。

Dark Touristic Perception: Motivation, Experience and Benefits Interpreted from the Visit to Seismic Memorial Sites in Sichuan Province

This study investigates the motivations of Chinese domestic tourists visiting seismic memorial sites after the great Wenchuan earthquake of 2008, and examines their interpretation of experiences and benefits of the visits. Recent research on dark tourism has raised the possibility that people are attracted to death and memorial sites in ways different from other tourist attractions. The study used an empirical research design employing questionnaires to collect data from 255 Chinese domestic visitors at seismic memorial sites in west Sichuan. Analysis revealed that the obligation of commemoration mixed with curiosity represents a different set of travel motivation in dark tourism settings than in other kinds of tourism. In addition, the empirical evidence also suggests an interrelated pattern between motivations, experiences and benefits. This study implies that Chinese domestic tourists were attracted in ways different from other tourist attractions both because they tended to fulfill their obligation of commemoration and were interested in destruction; and visitor experiences played an important mediating role between travel motivations and benefits gained.

Traveling Wavefronts on Reaction Diffusion Systems with Spatio-Temporal Delays

By using Schauder’s Fixed Point Theorem, we study the existence of traveling wave fronts for reaction-diffusion systems with spatio-temporal delays. In our results, we reduce the existence of traveling wave fronts to the existence of an admissible pair of upper solution and lower solution which are much easier to construct in practice.

Empirical Research on Tourists' After-trip Perception of Landscape Preference in the Confucius Temple in Nanjing City

Thurstone’s Comparative Judgment Model was applied to measure characteristics of tourists’after-trip perception of landscape preference in the Confucius Temple,a famous historical block in Nanjing City.The results show that(a)as time goes by,the tourists’time perception differentiation has continuously sublimated from the general experience into the peak experience,and gradually evolved into the core experience element in the overall perception.In terms of content,perceptional contents of tourists decrease in sequence of the Confucian culture,the commercial culture and the culture of refined scholars.As a whole,tourists’after-trip perception differentiation has 3 sections:halo zone,sub-halo zone,and gray zone.(b)Because of tourism development,the Confucian culture is influenced by other cultures,and the commercial culture shows the trend of"over-generalization",and the culture of refined scholars has weakening carriers and modes of inheritance.Inheritance of its unique cultural connotations deserves increasing attention.
