Survey of Greening Status and Suggestions on Landscape Planning of Chenlu Town

As Chenlu Town is of laddered terrain,houses,cave dwellings,trees and farmlands are distributed on all levels of the mountain.Through field visits and investigation,the author had the knowledge of the situation of indigenous tree species,fruit and economy tree species,garden greening tree species and wild cover plants.In the light of vegetation type and status of land use,Chenlu Town would be divided into terrace scenery zone,mountainous forest zone,greening zone in residential area and greening zone in unit and factory area;and then in accordance with the principle of greening planning in Chenlu Town,it would be divided into shelter and economic forest belt,water and soil conservation forest belt,mixed forest of black locust landscape belt and greening belt around residential district;finally the planning suggestions of greening landscape were proposed.

Garden landscape is a beautiful complex formed by space and time complementing each other and acting together.Garden plants are the core landscaping elements in garden landscape construction.It is necessary to flexibly use a variety of plant landscaping methods to create a richer and more vivid natural landscape,and promote the improvement of the quality of the living environment and the harmonious coexistence between man and nature.

Linguistic landscape and its impacts on place-making in mountain destination:A case of Mogan Mountain Town of Huzhou City,China

The place and placeness are believed to be a crucial perspective for comprehending the transformative dynamics of tourist destinations in the context of globalization and the rapid development of the tourism industry.As the material carrier of language,linguistic landscape is an intermediary for people to endow emotions and personalities into the place,becoming an effective path for exploring the place-making in a certain area.Mogan Mountain is a famous national tourist resort,which is located in Mogan Mountain Town,Deqing County,Huzhou City,China.This is a good case area for studying the relationship between linguistic landscape and placemaking in tourist destinations.There are two theories that form the theoretical foundation of the study,namely the place and the geosemiotics.Firstly,the results showed the overall style of the linguistic landscape.Multilingual labelling(52.7%),official signs(55.3%),and standardized Chinese characters predominantly shaped the linguistic landscape,with English and other languages being complementary.Secondly,from the perspective of three dimensions of the geosemiotics framework,such as inscription,language preference,and placement position,we conduct a comprehensive semiotic analysis of the linguistic landscape,which encompasses diverse facets such as fonts,materials,shifts in state,text vectors,and symmetrical arrangements.Finally,we explore the influence of linguistic landscapes on the place-making of Mogan Mountain through the dimensions of location,locale,and sense of place.The information on linguistic landscapes indicates the geographical location.These linguistic landscapes play an important role in constructing the language order,nostalgic atmosphere,exotic atmosphere,and elegant and tasteful lifestyle of the public space in Mogan Mountain.Readers of linguistic landscapes,including tourists and residents,generate and identify with the unique sense of place in Mogan Mountain.These linguistic landscapes construct the destination placeness of Mogan Mountain that combines both foreign and nostalgic styles,and the integration of Chinese and Western cultures.It will help promote the image positioning of tourism destinations and have practical guiding significance for the tourism planning,landscape-making,language management,and other aspects of tourism destinations.

Landscape Architecture Planning and Design Based on Landscape Ecology Theory:A Case Study of Waterfront Landscape Planning and Design of Dapo Town

With the rapid development of urbanization,landscape architecture has become an indispensable component of daily life.In order to achieve better landscape effects and protect the ecological environment,landscape ecology theory can be integrated into landscape planning to carry out disciplinary crossing and integration research between landscape ecology and landscape architecture.In this study,based on the basic theories of landscape ecology,the waterfront landscape of Dapo Town was designed,with the aim to achieve ecological balance in planning,showcase biodiversity,and create a harmonious landscape ecological environment which can benefit both nature and people.This design combined artificial and natural elements while improving the natural environment,which promoted a harmonious relationship between humans and nature,thus enriching the spatial organization of the city,and playing a role in regulating the urban environment and climate.

Influence of Urban Street Greening Design under the Concept of Green Healthy Cities:A Case Study of Hefei City

In order to explore the influence of urban street greening,the street landscape of Changjiang West Road and Xiyou Road in Hefei City was selected as the research sample to study the design of urban street landscape under the concept of green healthy cities.The results show that the urban street landscape of Hefei City is single in design and plant type,and plant maintenance management is not good.It is proposed to strengthen the maintenance and management of street greening,increase the types of native plants,and improve cultural connotation,so as to enhance the artistry,regionalism and functionality of urban street landscape in Hefei City.

Study on Architectural Landscape in Ancient Townships of West Sichuan——A Case Study of Huanglongxi Town in Chengdu City of China

Through the field investigation of a typical ancient town in west Sichuan,Huanglongxi Town in Shuangliu County of Chengdu City,Fengshui orientations,characteristics of folk dwellings,the Hakkas buildings and stilt-building culture in the study area were analyzed from the perspectives of geographical location,overall layout and residential culture.The representative layouts of ancient Fengshui doctrines were stressed,such as "carrying the yin at its back and the yang in front,backing on mountains and facing water","four gods at four directions"(Azure Dragon in the left,White Tiger in the right,Black Tortoise at back and Vermilion Bird in front).Moreover,primitive architectural style and rhythm of the continuous rows of buildings,"seven streets and nine lanes",and overhanging eaves in the ancient Huanglongxi Town were demonstrated.The study is of great referential value for researches on architectural landscapes of ancient towns in west Sichuan,and modern architectural landscape designs.

Discussion on Planning and Construction of Villages and Towns in Nature Reserve——A Case Study of Weitun Town of Hengshui City in China

The development of nature reserve was closely related with that of villages and towns at its surrounding area.It was the core issue to be discussed in the paper as to how to form mutually beneficial relation between them and achieve both protection of nature reserve and economic development of villages and towns.Through analysis on internal relation between nature reserve and villages and towns,it put forward three methods for planning and construction of villages and towns around the nature reserve.By taking Hengshui Lake National Nature Reserve in Weitun Town for example,it hoped to serve as a modest spur to induce exchange and discussion in the field.

Spatial Analysis of Settlement Landscapes in Ancient Xianshi Town, Zigong City of Sichuan Province

Organization forms, components, spatial scales and configuration principles of settlement landscapes in ancient Xianshi Town, Zigong City of Sichuan Province were investigated and analyzed. Specifically, overall layout and organization forms were elaborated; spatial components of settlement landscapes were discussed from the perspectives of exterior open landscape space, interior enclosed landscape space, and transitional landscape space; factors influencing the scale of streets, lanes and buildings were introduced, spatial scales of major streets and buildings in the town were calculated; and finally configuration principles of settlement landscapes in the town were proposed from the perspectives of rhythm and sense, symmetry and balance, diversity and unification. And it was concluded that settlement landscapes in ancient Xianshi Town have achieved the harmony between human and nature in terms of both organization of overall spaces and design of partial spaces.

Urban River Landscape Design Based on Regional Characteristics——A Case Study of Jinxi River in Hushan Town

River is an important resource for human survival and development, and also a material carrier for cultural inheritance. In recent years, with the further urbanization of China, more efforts have been devoted in economic construction, but protection of local ecological pattern and inheritance of historic context have been overlooked. Taking landscape design of Jinxi River in Hushan Town for example, local resources were analyzed on the basis of regional characteristics to explore the future development trend. Colorful traditional cultures of south Fujian should be introduced into the design of waterfront landscapes, so historic and cultural elements of south Fujian will be inherited and demonstrated in new means by combining with modern landscape design techniques.

Research on Characteristic Landscape of Ancient Towns in Sichuan of China——A Case Study of Luodai Ancient Town in China

By taking Luodai Ancient Town in Longquanyi District of Chengdu City for example,from the perspective of geological location,historical cultural characteristic and layout,the paper had analyzed layout feature of the ancient town,and emphasized that the ancient people had paid attention to spiritual belief of geomantic omen.By taking "near the mountain and by the river" and "Yin at the back and Yang in front" as important reference,it had analyzed manifestation of geomantic omen in Luodai ancient town,and highlighted the composition feature,scientificness and practicality of "one street and seven lanes" as the traditional layout.Hakka residence and guild buildings were the most characteristic representations of Luodai ancient town.It stressed that Hakka residence was a unique architectural style forming by integrating local natural condition,national belief,and traditional construction technology;and guild building was the characteristic product of fellow townsman contact in Ming and Qing Dynasty.It has selected "WU Family House",Guangdong Guild,Jiangxi Guild and Huguang Guild to analyze architectural characteristics in ancient towns,so as to further study characteristic landscape in Luodai ancient town.

Analysis of the Green Space System Planning in Small Towns with Yifeng Township, Yancheng City as an Example

Taking the green space systems in Yifeng Township for an example, this paper analyzed the characteristics and planning principles of green space system in small towns under the background of rapid urbanization. It also proposed the construction of stable ecological green space pattern of towns, the development of forest-type green space and the planning ideas of green space system in small towns that can embody regional context and implement multifunctional composite.

Systematic Study on Semiotic Landscape Elements in Ancient Water Towns in South Yangtze River Area

Based on basic concepts of semiotics,component types of the semiotic landscape element system in ancient water towns in south Yangtze River area were analyzed as well as their roles in constructing the overall image of ancient water towns in this area,and their realistic significance in the present landscape construction in China was discussed.

Reconstruction of Urban Landscapes and Images——A Case Study of the Post-Disaster Reconstruction of Luoshui Township, Shifang City, Sichuan, China

The reconstruction of Luoshui Township after the Wenchuan Earthquake was taken for an example, geological location, cultural context and original image of the town were analyzed on the basis of historical records and full investigation, functional orientations, cultural elements and landscape elements were summarized. It was proposed that the reconstruction of its landscapes and images should pay more attention to the integration of natural environment and town, function and form, as well as the inheritance and promotion of local cultures, stress "human-centered" designs and planning techniques of "integrating into natural landscapes, shaping the soul of culture". On this basis, planning schemes were given, design focuses, overall structure, planar architectural layout, style selection, landscape design and green space system planning were analyzed, moreover, how to deal with the relationship between city and people, city and environment, city and culture was discussed to find a way to the orderly and sustainable development of city.

Research on Kunming Urban Riverbank Greening Construction

Urban riverbank has connected water and land eco-system in the city,not only playing a vital role in releasing flood and conserving water and soil,but also of significant landscape and ecological value.In view of riverbank greening construction in the comprehensive improvement of rivers in Kunming City in recent years,the paper has analyzed three common riverbank greening modes based on the field survey,that is,protective greening,landscape greening and ecological greening.Then,some suggestions and countermeasures have been proposed,including enhancing construction of ecological river,exploring historical and cultural connotation of rivers,and selecting reasonable plants' species and disposition mode.

In the context of the rapid development of urbanization in China, the development of emerging town shows a high-speed prosperity. This paper describes current situation of the emerging urban green space system and analyzes different characteristics between current green spaces and the old city or existing urban green space. Considering green space system planning in the downtown area of Gu'an County, advantages of the "network + patch" layout for green space systems in emerging towns are summarized to explore a green space structure suited to these towns.

Spatial Morphology Anatomy of Heijing Ancient Town in Chuxiong,Yunnan

Based on historical evolution of Heijing,this paper analyzed the landscape features of natural landscape,general structure and man-made architecture in Heijing.Meanwhile,it revealed its historical position as a place with thousands years of salt production as well as its solid economic financial resources.This article described and analysed the ancient town's space forms and the feelings from three space areas which are the natural environment,the artificial building and the spiritual cultural.The final conclusion hoped to supply a referent value in knowing well of the Heijing town and studying its construction and development as the role of an important commercial town in Ming and Qing dynasty.

Protection and Construction Measures of Wild Animals' Habitats in Ecological Green Land Design in Town-and-City Concentration Areas of China

Town-and-city concentration area is confronted with ecological degeneration due to the expansion of urbanization,and enriching urban bio-diversity is conducive to the improvement of ecological function of urban green system.The paper has studied how to increase urban bio-diversity by making use of urban green lands for protection and construction of wild animals' habitats,and proposed the significance and theoretical idea for protection and construction of wild animals' habitats.By taking ecological green lands design in Qinglongchang of Chengdu City for example,it has analyzed the current situation of animals' diversity;proposed to plan corridor,construct biological channel and provide multiporous habitats;listed plants' selection and collocation mode;and finally illustrated how to set artificial facilities for attraction of animals.It hopes to provide a reference for the design of ecological green lands in cities advocating the harmonious development of living environment and natural environment.

Plantation of Fruit Tree and Its Application in Qiqihar’s Garden Greening

The sample survey methodology was used to investigate the concept of fruit trees planted in the Qiqihar City landscaping. The application effects of fruit trees in landscape were compared and the utilization features of fruit trees were analyzed. The most appropriate fruit trees species were selected and the optimum configuration types were proposed. The research results showed that from the perspective of the utilization of fruit tress in landscape in Qiqihar, the fruit trees species were not abundant and the quality was also not enough. The mostly used trees genera included Lonicera of Caprifoliaceae family, Viburnum, Sambucus, and Prunus, Ceraras, Pyrus, Malus belonging to Rosaceae family.
