Analysis of prescription rules in the treatment of diabetic heart disease based on traditional Chinese medicine inheritance support system

Diabetes is a common clinical disease and has many complications,among which diabetic heart disease is the leading cause of death in diabetic patients.This article collected the prescriptions for the treatment of diabetic heart disease,and used the traditional Chinese medicine inheritance support system to explore the prescription formulation rules.Finally,we included 43 prescriptions for analysis.We found that the rules of formulas for treating diabetic heart disease are complex,but Chinese medicines in these formulas are mainly with the effects of nourishing Qi,nourishing Yin and activating blood circulation.At the same time,we obtained 3 new prescriptions and discussed the clinical rationality of the new prescriptions.The purpose of this article is to provide reference for clinical prescription in the treatment of diabetic heart disease and the development of related new drugs.

Mechanism analysis of Traditional Chinese Medicine in treatment of Diabetic Nephropathy based on network pharmacology and Traditional Chinese Medicine inheritance support system

Diabetic nephropathy is one of the most serious complications of diabetes mellitus. In the early stage, edema and proteinuria are the main clinical manifestations. In the later stage, glomerulosclerosis and interstitial fibrosis will occur. And the prognosis is poor. Nowadays, traditional Chinese medicine has a remarkable curative effect in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy. There are more and more studies on the treatment of diabetic nephropathy with traditional Chinese medicine, but most of them focus on the syndromes of diabetic nephropathy, which are short of in-depth research and summary on the mechanism of Chinese herbal prescriptions. In this paper, the traditional Chinese medicine inheritance support system and network pharmacology BATMAN-TCM software were used to collect and analyze the relevant literature. It was found that the core compatibility of Shanzhuyu, Fuling and Shuyu in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy is closely related to the signal transduction pathway and target of diabetic nephropathy, and has a positive effect on the improvement of clinical symptoms such as proteinuria, glycometabolism disorder, edema, etc. This paper explores the core compatibility of Shanzhuyu, Fuling and Shuyu on diabetic nephropathy, in order to provide reference for clinical treatment.

HHO optimized support vector machine classifier for traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation of diabetic retinopathy

AIM:To develop a classifier for traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome differentiation of diabetic retinopathy(DR),using optimized machine learning algorithms,which can provide the basis for TCM objective and intelligent syndrome differentiation.METHODS:Collated data on real-world DR cases were collected.A variety of machine learning methods were used to construct TCM syndrome classification model,and the best performance was selected as the basic model.Genetic Algorithm(GA)was used for feature selection to obtain the optimal feature combination.Harris Hawk Optimization(HHO)was used for parameter optimization,and a classification model based on feature selection and parameter optimization was constructed.The performance of the model was compared with other optimization algorithms.The models were evaluated with accuracy,precision,recall,and F1 score as indicators.RESULTS:Data on 970 cases that met screening requirements were collected.Support Vector Machine(SVM)was the best basic classification model.The accuracy rate of the model was 82.05%,the precision rate was 82.34%,the recall rate was 81.81%,and the F1 value was 81.76%.After GA screening,the optimal feature combination contained 37 feature values,which was consistent with TCM clinical practice.The model based on optimal combination and SVM(GA_SVM)had an accuracy improvement of 1.92%compared to the basic classifier.SVM model based on HHO and GA optimization(HHO_GA_SVM)had the best performance and convergence speed compared with other optimization algorithms.Compared with the basic classification model,the accuracy was improved by 3.51%.CONCLUSION:HHO and GA optimization can improve the model performance of SVM in TCM syndrome differentiation of DR.It provides a new method and research idea for TCM intelligent assisted syndrome differentiation.

Application and Practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine Characteristic Technology Inheritance in Research and Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine Preparations in Medical Institutions

Medical institution preparations play an important role in the development of hospitals,being one of the main forms of traditional Chinese medicine clinical characteristic medication,as well as an important carrier for the inheritance and innovation of traditional Chinese medicine.In recent years,the research and development of traditional Chinese medicine preparations has become a hot spot in the research and development of preparations by medical institutions.Traditional Chinese medicine preparations prepared by traditional processes and their entrusted preparation matters have changed from the current licensing management to filing management.The registration model of traditional Chinese medicine preparations has undergone significant changes,emphasizing more on real data and evaluation results from the objective world,respecting traditional medication experience,and emphasizing the inheritance and innovative development of traditional technological experience.In the process of following teachers in the inheritance project of traditional Chinese medicine,we combined the inheritance of traditional Chinese medicine characteristic technology with the research and development practice of traditional Chinese medicine preparations in medical institutions,and focused on the analysis and discussion of technical problems such as prescription screening,dosage form selection,process route design and clinical observation of traditional Chinese medicine preparations,hoping to provide reference for scholars in the same field of traditional Chinese medicine.

Analysis on medication rule of traditional Chinese medicine treating chemotherapy-induced diarrhea based on traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) inheritance computing platform system

Objective:To dig deeper into the traditional Chinese medicine treatment rules of chemotherapy-induced diarrhea with traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)inheritance computing platform system.Methods:Taking“traditional Chinese medicine”,“chemotherapy”and“diarrhea”as the theme words,comprehensive search of the database of CNKI,Wanfang and VIP from its inception to November 2020 was conduct-ed.The formulas of external treatment of traditional Chinese medicine for chemotherapy-induced diarrhea were included and the association rule,clustering and factor analysis were carried out.Results:A total of 145 papers,57 prescriptions meeting the inclusion criteria were collected,among which high-frequency drugs including Baizhu(Atractylodis macrocephalae rhizoma),Fuling(Poria),Dangshen(Codonopsisradix),Huanglian(Coptidis rhizoma),Zhigancao(Glycyrrhizae radix et rhizoma praeparata cum melle)were the most commonly used.The confidence level was set as 0.7 and the support level was set as 10,12 core compatibility groups were obtained,and 6 categories were cluster analyzed.Conclusion:The principle of external treatment of chemotherapy-induced diarrhea is mainly“restore deficiency and benefiting qi”,“benefiting water infiltration and dampness”,“clearing heat”and“inducing astringency”.Prescription combination and new prescription combination based on traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)inheritance computing platform system can be used as reference for clinicians and applied in primary hospitals.

Prescription and treatment rules for the prescriptions containing Poria cocos and Atractylodes macrocephala couplet medicine based on traditional Chinese Medicine inheritance support platform

Objectives:To provide a theoretical basis for the development of the new products of Poria cocos-Atractylodes macrocephala couplet medicine.Methods:All prescription preparations containing Poria cocos and Atractylodes macrocephala were collected from the Drug Standards of the Ministry of Public Health Drug Standard·Traditional Chinese Medicine Set Prescription Preparation(called Traditional Chinese Medicine Set Prescription Preparation for short).After standardization,the information of each prescription preparation was input into the Chinese Traditional Medicine Inheritance Support Platform(V2.5),and the relevant rules of the software were adopted.Data mining methods were used to analyze the frequency of drugs,main symptoms and diseases in prescriptions,and to analyze the regularity of prescriptions.The prescription rules of top 2 high frequency attending syndromes and diseases were analyzed.Results:There were total of 337 prescription preparations containing couplet medicine of Poria cocos and Atractylodes macrocephala,107 kinds of main symptoms and 66 kinds of diseases.The high frequency syndromes were deficiency of Qi and blood and weakness of spleen and stomach,and the high frequency syndromes were anorexia and irregular menstruation.Conclusion:The couplet medicine of Poria cocos-atractylodes macrocephala prescription is mainly used to treat digestive tract diseases and gynecological diseases;it mostly takes tonifying deficiency efficat.It can treat different diseases being compatible with different medicinal materials.The study can provide theoretical basis for clinical application and new drug development of the couplet medicine of Poria cocos-atractylodes macrocephala.

Analysis on the rules of prescriptions for ischemic stroke based on the traditional Chinese medicine inheritance auxiliary system

In China,traditional Chinese medicine is widely used in the treatment of ischemic stroke,but its prescription rules needs to be further studied.This paper uses the traditional Chinese medicine inheritance auxiliary system(a software)to analyze the composition rules of a large number of prescriptions for the treatment of ischemic stroke,and discusses the clinical rationality of the new prescriptions.We found that the prescriptions for the treatment of ischemic stroke are mainly composed by herbs for promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis,dredging collaterals and tonifying deficiency,and some of the new prescriptions are also in line with this characteristic.This paper can provide reference for clinical prescription in the treatment of ischemic stroke and the development of related new drugs.

Analysis of the rule of medication for internal administration of gout by traditional Chinese medicine based on Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance System

Objective:Based on the TCMIS(traditional Chinese medicine inheritance system)V2.5 to explore the rule of medication used in internal TCM(traditional Chinese medicine)for gout in the national patent network.Method:Collect the internal administrations of gout in the national patent network,and enter them into the Chinese medicine inheritance system V2.5,adopt Frequency analysis,association rules,complex system entropy clustering and other data mining methods to analyse the internal traditional formula of traditional Chinese medicine for gout.Results:By inclusion,exclusion criteria,357 formulas are screened out,involving 494 medicine,63 medicine with frequency of use≥20,and 40 commonly used medicine pairs.The core medicine are:Huangbai(Cortex Phellodendri),Cangzhu(Rhizoma Atracylodis),Niuxi(Radix Acanthopanacis Bidentatae),Yiyiren(Semen Coicis),Tufuling(Rhizoma Smilacis Glabrae),Bixie(Rhizome Dioscoreae Hypoglaucae),Gancao(Radix Glycyrrhizae),Weilingxian(Radix Clematidis),Zexie(Rhizoma Alismatis),Danggui(Radix Angelicae Sinensis),Chuanxiong(Rhizoma Chuanxiong).There are 28 new combinations and 14 new formulas.Conclusion:In the national patent network,the internal traditional Chinese medicine for gout is based on clearing away heat and dampness,activating blood circulation to dredge collaterals,which provides reference for clinical treatment of gout.

Analysis of medication law of treatment of cholelithiasis by internal traditional Chinese medicine based on traditional Chinese medicine inheritance system

Objective:Based on the Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance System version 2.5 to explore the rule of medication used in internal traditional Chinese medicine for cholelithiasis in the national patent network.Method:Collect the internal administrations of cholelithiasis in the national patent network,and enter them into the Chinese medicine inheritance system version 2.5,adopt frequency analysis,association rules,complex system entropy clustering and other data mining methods to analyze the prescription rule of traditional Chinese medicine cholelithiasis.Results:According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,215 prescriptions were selected,involving 398 drugs,30 drugs with a frequency of>20,and 39 commonly used drug pairs.The core drugs are:Jinqiancao(Herba Lysimachiae),Yujin(Radix Curcumae),Chaihu(Radix Bupleuri),Yinchen(Herba Artemisiae Scopariae),Jineijin(Endothelium Corneum Gigeriae Galli),Dahuang(Radix et Rhizoma Rhei),Gancao(Radix Glycyrrhizae),Huangqin(Radix Scutellariae),Baishao(Raidix Paeoniae Alba),Muxiang(Radix Aucklandiae),Zhishi(Fructus Aurantii Immaturus),Yanhusuo(Rhizoma Corydalis),Huzhang(Rhizoma Polygoni Cuspidati),Haijinsha(Herba Lygodii).And 9 new prescriptions have been got.Conclusion:In the national patent network,the traditional Chinese medicine is used in the treatment of cholelithiasis.The main treatment is clearing heat and dampness,regulating Qi and relieving pain,and promoting gallbladder removing stone,providing reference for clinical treatment of cholelithiasis.

Construction thoughts and practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine nursing inheritance work

Master-apprentice system is a main mode of talent cultivation for Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM). To vigorously push forward inheritance and innovation of TCM nursing, Beijing Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine carried out TCM nursing inheritance work in 2016, establishing 3 studios and 1 workstation. In this paper, we summarized constructional methods and achievements in TCM nursing inheritance studios and workstation, raised issues during working, and thought about how to work in the next stage, in hoping to lay a good foundation for carrying out in-depth work about TCM nursing inheritance.

Construction of a Talent Cultivation Mode for Traditional Chinese Medicine Nursing Inheritance

Objective:To explore and build traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)nursing inheritance on the talent training scheme,the foundation for cultivating outstanding talents of TCM nursing inheritance.Methods:The modified Delphi method was used for conducting two rounds of consultation with 15 TCM nursing experts to formulate training plan.Results:The questionnaire recovery rates of two rounds of expert enquiry were 100.00%,with high experts enthusiasm,experts coefficients were 0.83 and 0.81,respectively.Kendall coordination coefficient were 0.26 and 0.30,respectively(P<0.01).After two rounds of expert consultation,the TCM nursing inheritance talent training scheme was finally formed,including 3 first-level indicators,7 second-level indicators and 24 third-level indicators.Conclusion:Construction of talent cultivating program of TCM nursing inheritance is scientific and feasible,with a certain reference value.

A study on the medication law of oral administration of traditional Chinese medicine in treating breast carbuncle based on the Traditional Chinese Medicine Prescription Dictionary

Objective:Based on the database of Traditional Chinese Medicine Prescription Dictionary,the prescription medication rules of oral administration of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of breast carbuncle were explored by using the software of Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System(V2.5).Methods:To screen and retrieve the prescriptions for treating breast carbuncle in the Traditional Chinese Medicine Prescription Dictionary,and data mining was carried out by using association rule algorithm,complex system entropy clustering and so on.Results:A total of 208 prescriptions which met the inclusion criteria were selected,involving 175 traditional Chinese medicines.Among them,23 medicines were found to be more than 21 times in the treatment of breast carbuncle.The nature of the medicine is mainly cold or warm,the flavour of the medicine is mainly bitter or sweet,most of them belong to the spleen,liver,stomach.15 commonly used drug combinations and 9 new prescriptions were obtained.Conclusion:The key pathogenesis of breast carbuncle is liver depression and Qi stagnation,stomach heat blocking collaterals,the treatment is mainly to clear heat and detoxify,regulate Qi to diffuse the knot,which provides reference for the choose of traditional Chinese medicine prescription in treating breast carbuncle.

The effect of traditional Chinese medicine──Tian Gui Recipeon obesity and anovulation in androgen-sterilized rats

Objective: A traditional Chinese medicine Tian Gui Recipe (TGR) has been used to effectively treat clomiphene resistant anovulatory disease and obesity, especially in polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) cases with hyperinsulinemia. The effect of TGR on obesity and anovulation was investigated in androgen-sterilized rats (ASR). Methods: Female SD rats at the age of 9 days were divided into 3 groups. Group ASR (n=15): anovulation was demonstrated at the age of 70 days by vaginal smear in rats while 1. 25 mg of testosterone propionate was injected subcutaneously on its 9th neonatal day. Group A+H (n = 25): TGR were administered to ASR at the age of 80 days for 3 weeks. Rats with regular estrous cycle and ovulation after herbal treatment were included in this group. Group C (n = 15): normal ovulated rats were recruited. Around the age of 112 days or on proestrous day, all rats were sacrificed under anesthesia. Serum leptin, testosterone (T), estrogen (E2), follicular stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH) levels were measured with radioimmunoassay (RIA). Double immunofluorescent staining combined with confocal laser scanning microscope and dual in situ hybridization were carried out on sections through areas of arcuate nucleus (ARC) to determine whether estrogen receptor (ER) immunoreactivity (IR) or long form of leptin receptor (OB-Rb) mRNA were expressed in neuropeptide Y (NPY) immuno-and mRNA-containing neurons, and its relationship to proopiomelanocortin (POMC) mRNA-containing neurons. Immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization were used to observe the levels of ER, NPY, gonadotrophin releasing hormone (GnRH) and gene expression levels on NPY, OB-Rb, POMC. Meanwhile, the criteria of energy state, including daily food intake, retroperitoneal fat depot pad and body weight, were measured and evaluated. Values of immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization were expressed in mean optic density (MOD). Results: Seventeen out of the 25 rats (68%) in Group A+H were ovulated after herbal treatment. ASR characterized with significantly high metabolic rate, energy imbalance and obesity (P<0. 01, P<0. 01, P<0. 01). The mean serum leptin, T, E2 levels of group ASR were significantly higher than those of Group C and Group A+H (P< 0. 01,P<0. 01 ), while FSH, LH levels were lower (P<0. 01, P<0. 01 ). ERs were proved to be distributing in NPY-containing neurons, OB-Rb coexpressed in NPY-syn- thesizing neurons, and both NPY and POMC mRNA expressing neurons overlapped in ARC. Compared to Group C, levels of NPY mRNA and NPY, POMC mRNA expressions were increased (P<0. 01, P<0. 01, P<0. 01 ), OB-Rb mRNA, ER and GnRH immunoreactive expression were decreased significantly in the hypothalamus of ASR (P<0. 01, P<0. 01, P<0. 01 ). These dramatic neuroendocrine changes became normal in ovulated ASR after the herbal treatment (all P>0. 05). Conclusion: The elevated peripheral E2 caused by high T and leptin levels in ASR may down-regulate their corresponding receptors oriented on hypothalamic NPY- containing neurons respectively, therefore challenge the NPY mRNA and NPY, POMC mRNA overexpressions. The overexpression, of NPY, POMC gene transcription and translation stimulate food intake, promote the deposit of adipocyte tissue, and inhibit GnRH expression and GnRH/FSH, LH release, which contribute to the occurrence of obesity and anovulation in ASR. TGR may reverse these abnormal neuroendocrine cascades by lowering the levels of T, E2 and leptin.

Nguyen Van Nghi(阮文义1909-1999):Pioneer of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the West in the 20^th Century

Traditional Chinese medicine in the 20th century,along with acupuncture,took off in France.Nguyen Van Nghi is one of the most important carriers of Chinese medical knowledge outside of China.He is a doctor by Western training,but can read oriental texts;he contributes to the spreading of this knowledge in France and in Europe.He left a rich legacy to French acupuncturists.

Tacit Knowledge Mining:The Key Traditional Chinese Medical Inheritance

Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)is a treasure of traditional Chinese culture and a gift to the world.TCM tacit knowledge refers to the knowledge and experiences formed in the process of learning and practice of TCM.The objective of this study is to discuss the importance of TCM tacit knowledge in the inheritance and education of TCM.As the essence of the TCM,TCM tacit knowledge has the characteristics of massive,complicated,relativistic,highly individualized,constantly innovative,the dependence of cultural background and the regional environment,as well as difficult to explicate.It exists in every aspect of the TCM theory and the process of dialectical treatment.Besides the traditional master‑apprentice,family‑based,school‑based,and inheritance and education methods,together with the inheritance based on the books,images,and network platforms,in the process of TCM modernization,a variety of modern theoretical models and computing techniques have also been used in the mining of the TCM tacit knowledge.In this study,we introduced the usage of SECI model,complexity adaptive system,latent variable model,and some of the data mining technologies in the TCM tacit knowledge mining.An accurate and efficient inheritance of TCM tacit knowledge is the key to maintain the vitality and innovative development of TCM.Under the reasonable application and combination of the traditional education methods,modern mining methods,and further the artificial intelligence,the explicit and inheritance of TCM tacit knowledge will get tremendous development,and it could extremely improve the efficiency and accuracy of the TCM inheritance and the TCM modernization.

Analysis on the medication rules and mechanisms of action of traditional Chinese medicine in treating cervical cancer

Objective: To summarize the rule of application of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in the prevention and treatment of cervical cancer, and to explore the molecular mechanism of the compatibility of core herbs. Methods: Collect relevant literatures on cervical cancer in Chinese National Knowledgey Ifrastructure (CNKI), use TCM inheritance platform system (TCMISSV2.5) for association rules and complex system entropy clustering analysis;use BATMAN-TCM online analysis tools to construct target-pathway-disease network to reveal the underlying mechanisms of action. Results: Among the 78 prescriptions selected, a total of 172 Chinese medicines were used, and the five most frequently used herbs were Huang-bo (Phellodendri Chinrnsis Cortex), Fu-ling (Poria Cocos), Huang-qi (Hedysarum Multijugum Maxim.), Bai-hua-she-she-cao (Hedyotis Diffusae Herba) and Gan-cao (Licorice). Bai-hua-she-she-cao (Hedyotis Diffusae Herba) and Huang-qi (Hedysarum Multijugum Maxim.), Bai-hua-she-she-cao (Hedyotis Diffusae Herba) and Fu-ling (Poria Cocos), Bai-zhu (Atractylodes Macrocephala Koidz.) and Fu-ling (Poria Cocos) are the three most commonly used medicine match. In addition, through cluster analysis, a total of 4 core herbs compatibility and 2 new prescriptions were excavated. Herbs in the new prescriptions which are used to clearing heat-toxin and removing dampness were most frequently used. Through the analysis of the signal pathway of high frequency Chinese medicines, we found that neuroactive ligand-receptor interaction pathway may play important roles. Conclusion: The core Chinese medicines for the prevention and treatment of cervical cancer are mainly clearing heat-toxin and removing dampness. The core Chinese medicines may play their anti-cervical cancer by interfering with the neuroactive ligand-receptor interaction signaling pathway.

Compatibility rule of traditional Chinese medicine for treatment of cardiac neurosis based on data mining

Objective:To analyze the prescription and medication rule of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)in treating cardiac neurosis by using the software of"Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Assistant Platform(V2.5)".Methods:China Journal Full-Text Database,Wanfang database,Weipu Chinese Periodical Service Platform and Chinese biomedical literature database were retrieved according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria.Literatures on the treatment of cardiac neurosis with TCM prescriptions were screened out and data mining was carried out using the TCM inheritance assistant platform.Use frequency,commonly used dose,the frequency of properties,flavors and meridian distribution were counted.Association rules and entropy clustering analysis for complex system were used to extract core drug combinations and unsupervised entropy hierarchical clustering was used to predict potential new prescriptions.Results:Through literature retrieval and screening,210 types of prescriptions were finally selected,and 181 types of Chinese herbs were extracted,with cumulative frequency of 2410 times.Among them,there were 46 traditional Chinese medicines that were used more than 15 times.According to the efficacy and indication,they were classified into qi-regulating drugs,tranquilizers,qi-tonifying drugs,heat-clearing drugs,blood-tonifying drugs,etc.According to properties,flavors,and meridian distribution,warm and sweet drugs were the most commonly used,mostly distributing to the heart meridian,followed by liver and spleen meridians.Association rules showed that combination of radix paeoniae and paeonia-bupleurum was the most used;faructus aurantii and bupleurum had the strongest correlation,up to 90%.The network diagram indicated that bupleurum,angelica sinensis,radix paeoniae radix,and poria cocos were the core of the association network.Based on complex system entropy clustering,24 core drug combinations were obtained.The unsupervised entropy hierarchical clustering algorithm was used to extract 12 core drug combinations,and 6 potential new formulae were obtained by further clustering.Conclusion:Regulating qi and blood,addressing both symptoms and causes,and using purgation and tonification at the same time is the principle of the treatment of cardiac neuropathy with TCM.The treatment mainly starts from the heart,liver and spleen,and therapies include soothing the liver and regulating qi,clearing heat and resolving phlegm,tranquilizing and calming the nerves,and prompting blood circulation and diuresis.

Objective:To analyze the rule of prescribing traditional Chinese medicine for treating pneumoconiosis,so as to provide reference for differential diagnosis and treatment of pneumoconiosis as well as for the development of new drugs for treatingthe disease.Methods:We searched China National Knowledge Infrastructure,Wanfang Database and VIP Chinese PublicationDatabase to retrieve relevant literatures which were then screened according to the enrollment criteria to establish a prescriptiondatabase of traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of pneumoconiosis.The inheritance calculation platform of traditionalChinese medicine was used to analyze the prescribing rule of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of pneumoconiosisbased on association rules,k-means clustering algorithm and regression model analysis.Results:A total of 131 related literature were preliminarily selected,from which 97 prescriptions of traditional Chinese medicine with a total of 195 herbs were included.The most frequently prescribed herbs included Radix astragali,Platycodon grandiflorum,Pinellia ternata,licorice,Codonopsispilosula,Salvia miltiorrhiza,bitter almond etc.A total of 14 association rules,13 high-frequency herb pairs were found and 5groups of formulas were revealed by cluster analysis.Conclusion:The prescriptions for the treatment of pneumoconiosis are mainly composed of herbs for tonifying deficiency,resolving phlegm,relieving cough and asthma,activating blood circulation and removingblood stasis,which are supplemented with herbs for clearing heat,relieving appearance,regulating qi,promoting waterand permeating dampness,etc.,The prescribing rules reflect the basic pathological characteristics of lung deficiency and collateral arthralgia in pneumoconiosis,which provides some ideas for the clinical differentiation and treatment of pneumoconiosis in traditionalChinese medicine.It also provides reference for the research and development of new treatment methods.

Regulating effect of Chinese herbal medicine on the peritoneal lymphatic stomata in enhancing ascites absorption of experimental hepatofibrotic mice

AIM: To observe the regulatory effect of Chinese herbal medicine on peritoneal lymphatic stomata and its significance in treating ascites in liver fibrosis model mice. METHODS: Two Chinese herbal composite prescriptions were used separately to treat the carbon tetrachloride-induced mouse model of liver fibrosis. The histo-pathologic changes of the liver sections (HE and VG stainings) were observed. The peritoneal lymphatic stomata was detected by scanning electron microscopy and computer image processing. The changes of urinary volume and sodium ion concentration were measured. RESULTS: In the model group, lots of fibrous tissue formed in liver and extended into the hepatic lobules to separate them incompletely. In the treated and prevention groups, the histo-pathologic changes of liver was rather milder, only showed much less fibrous tissue proliferation in the hepatic lobules. The peritoneal lymphatic stomata enlarged with increased density in the experimental groups (diameter: PA, 3.07 +/- 0.69 microm; PB, 2.82 +/- 0.37 microm; TA, 3.25 +/- 0.82 microm and TB, 2.82 +/- 0.56 microm; density: PA, 7.11 +/- 1.90 stomata.1000 microm(-2); PB, 8.76 +/- 1.45 stomata.1000 microm(-2); TA, 6.55 +/- 1.44 stomata.1000 microm(-2)and TB, 8.76+/-1.79 stomata.1000 microm(-2)), as compared with the model group (diameter: 2.00+/-0.52 microm density: 4.45+/-1.05 stomata.1000 microm(-2)). After treatment, the urinary volume and sodium ion excretion increased in the experimental groups (PA, 231.28+/-41.09 mmol.L(-1); PB, 171.69 +/- 27.48 mmol.L(-1) and TA, 231.44 +/- 34.12 mmol.L(-1)), which were significantly different with those in the model group (129.33 +/- 36.75 mmol.L(-1)). CONCLUSION: Chinese herbal medicine has marked effects in alleviating liver fibrosis, regulating peritoneal lymphatic stomata, improving the drainage of ascites from peritoneal cavity and causing increase of urinary volume and sodium ion excretion to reduce the water and sodium retention, and thus have favorable therapeutic effect in treating ascites.

Discussion on the mechanism of TCM treatment of climacteric syndrome based on TCM inheritance assistance system and network pharmacology

Background:To explore the law of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of climacteric syndrome,and to study the potential mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine therapy.Methods:For the relevant prescriptions collected from Chinese Journal Full-text Database,Wanfang medical network,PubMed and EMBASE were transferred to the traditional Chinese medicine inheritance assistant system(TCMISSV2.5)to conduct the nucleocentric drug group analysis.In this study,we used BATMAN-TCM(http://bionet.ncpsb.org/batman-tcm/)online analysis tool to analyze Therapeutic Target Database disease enrichment and Kyoto Gene and Genome Encyclopedia(KEGG)pathway enrichment,and Cytoscape(3.7.1)software was used to construct disease-target and KEGG pathway-target networks for visualization.Results:Among the 103 prescriptions,3 pairs of core drug combinations and 9 new prescriptions were selected by data mining.In the KEGG pathway of Zhimu(Anemarrhenae rhizoma)and Huangbo(Phellodendri Chinensis cortex),the most potential targets were found in the neural active ligand receptor interaction pathway.Conclusion:The compatibility of Anemarrhenae rhizoma and Phellodendri Chinensis cortex may play a role in the treatment of nervous system symptoms in patients with climacteric syndrome by interfering the neuroactive ligand receptor interaction signaling pathway.
