Methods: 80 cases of nursing interns in our school were randomly selected for analysis and research from January 2023 to December 2023, 40 cases of traditional teaching methods were named as the reference group, and 40 cases of demonstration and error methods were named as the seminar group and in-depth analysis and evaluation of the teaching effect of the two groups after the implementation of different teaching modes were carried out. Results: The seminar group achieved remarkable results in terms of teaching effect, and the performance of the interns in this group was significantly better than that of the reference group in terms of medical key skills such as aseptic operation technique, intravenous infusion operation, intramuscular injection operation, and catheterization operation, P < 0.05, which is of research value. Conclusion: After the nursing interns received the teaching intervention of the demonstration of the error method, their experimental operation performance and hands-on ability were significantly improved, and at the same time effectively stimulated their interest in learning, which is worth using.展开更多
The issue of whether online teaching could replace traditional classroom(TC)teaching has attracted the attention of researchers in the applied linguistics literature.The current study attempted to shed light on this p...The issue of whether online teaching could replace traditional classroom(TC)teaching has attracted the attention of researchers in the applied linguistics literature.The current study attempted to shed light on this proposition by testing it on the difficult linguistic target of conditional if-clauses in English.The difficulty of these clauses stems from the fact that different tenses are used to express meanings that are sometimes not related to the tense used.The study recruited 49 participants,who were divided into two groups(23 in the online group,26 in the TC teaching group)and given a multiple-choice task containing 20 items.The study adopted a longitudinal research design(pretest and posttest).Each group was pretested before receiving just one two-hour treatment session.Then both groups were posttested.The results showed that both groups struggled with the second and third types of conditionals more than the zero and first types.The TC teaching group improved in the posttest in all types of conditionals.The online group improved in only two types of conditionals(zero and first).The TC teaching group outperformed the online group in the second and third conditionals.The findings indicate that classroom learning is superior to online learning and that,depending on their type,some conditionals in English are more difficult to learn than others.展开更多

Methods: 120 anesthesiology residents from January 2018 to the end of December 2019 were selected, and divided into a control group and an observation group of 60 each according to the time sequence of admission. The control group adopted the conventional teaching mode, and the observation group adopted the WeChat platform combined PBL teaching method. The scores of theoretical knowledge and anesthesia skills operation after training, the scores of the teaching interest survey, and the satisfaction with the teaching mode between the two groups were compared. Results: The scores of theoretical knowledge and anesthesia skills operation in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and the indicators of teaching interest in the observation group were also higher than those in the control group. The differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The satisfaction degree of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the difference was also statistically significant (P < 0.05). Background Traditional lecture-based teaching(TLT)has long been the primary method of teaching plastic suturing techniques and even surgical education.It has been challenging to adapt this approach to fit the educatio...Background Traditional lecture-based teaching(TLT)has long been the primary method of teaching plastic suturing techniques and even surgical education.It has been challenging to adapt this approach to fit the educational objectives of plastic surgery,which is a very practical science.Additionally,it is mainly teacher-led,and the course content is teacher-driven,which has disadvantages such as difficulty in motivating students and disconnection from clinical practice.Therefore,we developed a video point-to-point teaching(VPT)method and teamwork-based teaching(TBT)to study the effect of the new teaching model on fine cosmetic suturing operation(FCSO)and training outcomes for plastic surgeons.Methods We selected 30 junior doctors from the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery of the Chinese PLA General Hospital.All trainees were randomly assigned to three groups:TLT,VPT,and TBT.All trainees had their performances photographed,and a senior attending physician was appointed as a rater.We rated the process and results of FCSO according to a uniform rubric following the double-blind principle to compare the effects of different teaching modes on the trainees’FCSO and differences in training outcomes.Results There was no significant effect of video recording on trainees’FCSO(P>0.05).The total scores of the first suturing in the three groups were as follows:TLT group(13.18±1.66),VPT group(13.63±1.97),and TBT group(13.50±2.26),with no significant difference among the groups(P>0.05),indicating that the starting level of the trainees in the three groups was basically the same.There was no significant difference(P>0.05)between the VPT(20.30±2.17)and TBT(20.38±2.29)groups,but both of these groups were significantly better than the TLT group(16.43±1.86,P<0.01).Conclusion The TBT and VPT methods are significantly better than TLT.However,the TBT method is more economical and optimal for teachers and better utilizes students’initiative in learning and operation,which improves the teaching level and training efficiency.展开更多

Purpose: This study assessed the effectiveness of three teaching methods for developing cultural competency based upon Leininger's theoretical framework with nursing students in China: case studies, traditional did...Purpose: This study assessed the effectiveness of three teaching methods for developing cultural competency based upon Leininger's theoretical framework with nursing students in China: case studies, traditional didactic learning, and self-directed learning. These methods were used in tran- scultural nursing teaching practices to identify the method that resulted in the greatest improve- ments in the nursing student's understanding and clinical application of transcultural nursing. Methods: The Transcultural Nursing Questionnaire(TNQ) was used for pre-and post-test comparisons of all participants in four areas of cultural knowledge and the Evaluation of Transcultural Nursing Competency(ETNC) was applied via role-play to evaluate the cultural competency of 120 of the 305 participants from three general hospitals in the PuDong New District, Shanghai, China. Individual transcultural nursing courses that focused on case study, traditional didactic or self-di- rected methods persisted for four months in three hospitals. Results: Statistical analyses of the cognitive scores of the participants in the transcultural nursing courses revealed a significant difference(P〈0.01) between scores collected before and after the teaching with the three methods. Comparisons of the three hospitals revealed that the scores for transcultural nursing cognition and simulating service assessment were significantly different(P〈0.01) for the case study nursing students. The scores of the students who were taught with the traditional didactic and self-directed methods were not significantly different across the three hospitals(P〉0.05). Conclusion: The results revealed that the case study, traditional didactic and self-directed method effectively improved the transcultural nursing cognitive levels of the nursing students. The case study method appeared to be the most effective approach based upon the TNQ pre-and post-tests and the ETNC cultural competency scores.展开更多

Two people who shared this view were Zolt^n Kod^ly and Shinichi Suzuki. Suzuki positively affected the educational systems worldwide with his approach to violin teaching and his ideas on early childhood pedagogy. Choosing between the Suzuki violin teaching methodology and the traditional violin teaching methodology is a personal decision. This article tries to objectively elaborate on different aspects of Suzuki and traditional violin teaching methodologies. The post-test outcomes gathered from the two groups were analyzed using SPSS statistical software package, which demonstrated the advantages of students' writing competency in a networked teaching environment over that of students in a traditional teaching environment. OBJECTIVE:To assess the effect of case-based learning(CBL)in the education of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM).METHODS:The studies concerning TCM courses designed with CBL were included by searching the databases of ...OBJECTIVE:To assess the effect of case-based learning(CBL)in the education of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM).METHODS:The studies concerning TCM courses designed with CBL were included by searching the databases of EBSCO,Pubmed,Science Citation Index,China National Knowledge Infrastructure,Chongqing VIP database.The valid data was extracted in accordance with the included criteria.The quality of the studies was assessed with Gemma Flores-Masteo.RESULTS:A total of 22 articles were retrieved that met the selection criteria:one was of high quality;two were of low quality;the rest were categorized as moderate quality.The majority of the studiesdemonstrated the better effect produced by CBL,while a few studies showed no difference,compared with the didactic format.All included studies confirmed the favorable effect on learners'attitude,skills and ability.CONCLUSION:CBL showed the desirable results in achieving the goal of learning.Compared to didactic approach,it played a more active role in promoting students'competency.Since the quality of the articles on which the study was based was not so high,the findings still need further research to become substantiated.展开更多

文摘Background Traditional lecture-based teaching(TLT)has long been the primary method of teaching plastic suturing techniques and even surgical education.It has been challenging to adapt this approach to fit the educational objectives of plastic surgery,which is a very practical science.Additionally,it is mainly teacher-led,and the course content is teacher-driven,which has disadvantages such as difficulty in motivating students and disconnection from clinical practice.Therefore,we developed a video point-to-point teaching(VPT)method and teamwork-based teaching(TBT)to study the effect of the new teaching model on fine cosmetic suturing operation(FCSO)and training outcomes for plastic surgeons.Methods We selected 30 junior doctors from the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery of the Chinese PLA General Hospital.All trainees were randomly assigned to three groups:TLT,VPT,and TBT.All trainees had their performances photographed,and a senior attending physician was appointed as a rater.We rated the process and results of FCSO according to a uniform rubric following the double-blind principle to compare the effects of different teaching modes on the trainees’FCSO and differences in training outcomes.Results There was no significant effect of video recording on trainees’FCSO(P>0.05).The total scores of the first suturing in the three groups were as follows:TLT group(13.18±1.66),VPT group(13.63±1.97),and TBT group(13.50±2.26),with no significant difference among the groups(P>0.05),indicating that the starting level of the trainees in the three groups was basically the same.There was no significant difference(P>0.05)between the VPT(20.30±2.17)and TBT(20.38±2.29)groups,but both of these groups were significantly better than the TLT group(16.43±1.86,P<0.01).Conclusion The TBT and VPT methods are significantly better than TLT.However,the TBT method is more economical and optimal for teachers and better utilizes students’initiative in learning and operation,which improves the teaching level and training efficiency.

Methods: choose between September 2013 and September 2013 128 clinical professional students, average by using the lottery will be divided into control group and the team, every 64 students for 1 set, in surgical experimental teaching as a research courses, the teaching methods for the traditional teaching method in the control group, while the team gives PBL teaching mode, the teaching effect of the final will be two groups of students are analyzed and compared. Results: through different teaching methods for teaching, compared with control group, the group at the student's test scores, and the ability to significantly higher, the difference of both P 〈 0.05, there is statistically significant. Conclusion: using PBL teaching mode in the surgical experimental teaching effect is remarkable, can promote the students' comprehensive ability and is worth popularizing application.

文摘Purpose: This study assessed the effectiveness of three teaching methods for developing cultural competency based upon Leininger's theoretical framework with nursing students in China: case studies, traditional didactic learning, and self-directed learning. These methods were used in tran- scultural nursing teaching practices to identify the method that resulted in the greatest improve- ments in the nursing student's understanding and clinical application of transcultural nursing. Methods: The Transcultural Nursing Questionnaire(TNQ) was used for pre-and post-test comparisons of all participants in four areas of cultural knowledge and the Evaluation of Transcultural Nursing Competency(ETNC) was applied via role-play to evaluate the cultural competency of 120 of the 305 participants from three general hospitals in the PuDong New District, Shanghai, China. Individual transcultural nursing courses that focused on case study, traditional didactic or self-di- rected methods persisted for four months in three hospitals. Results: Statistical analyses of the cognitive scores of the participants in the transcultural nursing courses revealed a significant difference(P〈0.01) between scores collected before and after the teaching with the three methods. Comparisons of the three hospitals revealed that the scores for transcultural nursing cognition and simulating service assessment were significantly different(P〈0.01) for the case study nursing students. The scores of the students who were taught with the traditional didactic and self-directed methods were not significantly different across the three hospitals(P〉0.05). Conclusion: The results revealed that the case study, traditional didactic and self-directed method effectively improved the transcultural nursing cognitive levels of the nursing students. The case study method appeared to be the most effective approach based upon the TNQ pre-and post-tests and the ETNC cultural competency scores.
文摘In early childhood education it is important to determine a child's ability or attitude towards different subjects Training and/or education geared towards these tendencies will not only ensure a more healthy future choice in education for the child but furthermore will enable the child to have a happier educational atmosphere in early childhood. Music education/training in early childhood is considered to be very important in early years. Music education/training, in the correct and proper context using tangible and feasible teaching techniques not only improves and develops a child's musical skills but also helps develop his/her personality. Two people who shared this view were Zolt^n Kod^ly and Shinichi Suzuki. Suzuki positively affected the educational systems worldwide with his approach to violin teaching and his ideas on early childhood pedagogy. Choosing between the Suzuki violin teaching methodology and the traditional violin teaching methodology is a personal decision. This article tries to objectively elaborate on different aspects of Suzuki and traditional violin teaching methodologies. Each methodology has its pros and cons and knowing what these are will help individuals to make a more educated choice.

文摘This paper adopts a pedagogical approach to theteaching of English writing to EFL learners of interme-diate or advanced level in China.The teaching ofwriting has been a problem to Chinese EFL teachers fora long time.On the one hand,they want to make anattempt to adopt fashionable and effective Englishwriting approaches,like process writing.On the otherhand,they are frustrated by the traditional Chinesewriting method.Some of our language educators arealways struggling against the influence of our tradi-tional Chinese writing method.A negative attitudetowards our mother tongue writing approach has beenestablished or accepted by most of our EFL teachers,which result in the EFL learners’panic in their Eng-lish writing course because they are afraid of being ac-cused of writing a Chinese composition in Englishwords.Needless to say,this kind of teaching stylecannot be effective and is frustrating instead.The au-thor presents an integrated and practical solution tothis problem and discusses the applicability of the ap-proach.The author discusses how we can effectivelyintegrate the traditional Chinese writing method andthe popular process writing approach in teaching Eng-lish writing.
文摘The purpose of this paper is to survey the effectiveness of Network-based language teaching (NBLT) in EFL writing. One comparative experiment has been conducted between NBLT method of teaching writing and traditional face-to-face way of teaching writing. The post-test outcomes gathered from the two groups were analyzed using SPSS statistical software package, which demonstrated the advantages of students' writing competency in a networked teaching environment over that of students in a traditional teaching environment. These findings of the research have led the author to the conclusion that NBLT might be encouraged in future language teaching.

文摘OBJECTIVE:To assess the effect of case-based learning(CBL)in the education of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM).METHODS:The studies concerning TCM courses designed with CBL were included by searching the databases of EBSCO,Pubmed,Science Citation Index,China National Knowledge Infrastructure,Chongqing VIP database.The valid data was extracted in accordance with the included criteria.The quality of the studies was assessed with Gemma Flores-Masteo.RESULTS:A total of 22 articles were retrieved that met the selection criteria:one was of high quality;two were of low quality;the rest were categorized as moderate quality.The majority of the studiesdemonstrated the better effect produced by CBL,while a few studies showed no difference,compared with the didactic format.All included studies confirmed the favorable effect on learners'attitude,skills and ability.CONCLUSION:CBL showed the desirable results in achieving the goal of learning.Compared to didactic approach,it played a more active role in promoting students'competency.Since the quality of the articles on which the study was based was not so high,the findings still need further research to become substantiated.
