The findings indicatethat the Chinese translator,Wu Guozhen, takes a more target - reader oriented style by payingnlore attention to the vocabulary richness and structural variety. In contrast, the Americantranslator, Bloom,is more source - text centered by following the vocabulary choice and wordorder of the source text more closely. The analysis of the translated text through the corpus canobjectively, systematically, and effectively reveal the linguistic features of the translation text, thus reveal the translator's style. The method and findings of the present study can shed somelight on the English translation theory and practice of the Chinese classics in the new era.展开更多
