The Push-Over-Cellular (POC) scheme defined by Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) is based on the VoIP phone model and use SIP protocol as the call control scheme. The call setup time delay in SIP may reach to several seconds, which is unac-ceptable for the PTT service. In this paper, we provide a new call control scheme for PTT system based on PLMN network. By combining the apriority knowledge of PTT call model and the priority control scheme, we encapsulate the signaling message and the voice data into a same data packet, when the user push the button, the voice and the call control signaling are sent to the server at the same time. So the long time delay of call setup procedure of POC scheme can be eliminate. The end-to-end call delay can be decreased significantly. The experiment result based on the commercial CDMA2000 1X network of China Unicom shows that the call delay can be decreased to 600 ms, which approach to the traditional trunk communication system's requirement.展开更多

The ability to reach and grasp is a necessary component of many daily life functional tasks, hence reduced upper limb function has an impact on the ability to perform activities of daily living. In hemiparetic patients, the unrestricted and unguided repetition of a motor task may reinforce compensatory movements. Trunk restraint allowed the patients to use joint ranges that were present but not recruited during unrestrained reaching. Later, studies combined the trunk restraint training with additional therapeutic interventions. With the growing number of studies on this intervention in the stroke population, there is the need to consolidate this evidence to determine the potential use of trunk restraint training in improving arm reaching in neurological rehabilitation particularly for stroke patients. A considerable research effort had assessed the effects of trunk restraint training on the recovery of reaching movements in hemiparetic patients. This review identified 5 relevant trials in which one trial is a pilot study. Among 5 trials, three trials recorded the movement kinematics (outcome measure) by Optotrak Motion analysis System, in the other two trials the movement kinematics (outcome measure) were analysed by a 6 – camera, 3D Motion analysis system and 10 – camera Motion Analysis System respectively. The effect size for the intervention was calculated by Cohen’s d. In this review, for the meta-analysis we used trunk displacement, trunk flexion, elbow extension, Smoothness and hand trajectory straightness (movement variables in kinematic analysis). The results of our review demonstrated that the use of trunk restraint as a treatment paradigm aimed at decreasing compensatory strategies has the potential of becoming an effective therapy. Further studies are necessary to determine the long term effect of the trunk restraint training.展开更多

In this work, I show a new way of treating and solving postural problems. I am basing this physiotherapy approach on a new Image I created. Every patient can use it for every correction and change in posture. I called the new Image: “OMINO (little man)”. “Postural Card” could be a good work to make “OMINO” possible. “OMINO” is immediately understandable and, using “OMINO POCKET INSTRUCTIONS”, it can be easily done. Contribution of paper: • Trunk is a vital element for any kind of rehabilitation;• “Core stability” is the key to activating the trunk. • Doing “OMINO” means working on “core stability”;• “OMINO” makes rehabilitation simple for the patient.展开更多

According to many authors, a low insertion of the diaphragmatic crura or an abnormally high origin of the celiac trunk from the aorta can cause compression of the celiac artery. Usually, patients with MALS are asymptomatic. Computed tomography (CT) angiography of the abdomen is the main imaging modality to confirm the diagnosis. The coexistence of celiac trunk and superior mesenteric artery compression by the median arcuate ligament is rarely described in the literature. To our knowledge, until now, a simultaneous combination of three abdominal vascular compressions by the median arcuate ligament has never been described. From this case, we report a simultaneous compression of the celiac trunk, superior mesenteric artery, and renal arteries by the median arcuate ligament.展开更多
