Subsequently, vibration response of tether in the tether-tube system is analyzed by Monte Carlo method. It may be concluded that when the tube is subjected to zero-mean Gaussian white noise random excitation, the displacement and velocity root mean square responses of tether reach the peak if the circular frequency of tube doubles that of tether; the displacement and velocity root mean square responses of tether increase as the random excitation root mean square increases; owing to the damping force of water, the displacement and velocity root mean square responses of tether decrease rapidly compared with tether in air; increasing the damping of the tether or tube reduces the displacement and velocity root mean square responses of tether; the large-amplitude vibration of tether may be avoided by locating dampers on the tether or tube.展开更多

In the models, influential factors such as delay interval and charge quantity, are considered. The calculated vibration velocity is compared with the field test results, which shows that the theoretical values are close to the experimental ones. Meanwhile, the particle vibration velocity decreases quickly with time due to the damping of rock mass and has a harmonic motion, and the particle vibration velocity of millisecond blasting has short interval. The superposition of particle vibration velocities may reduce vibration because of wave interference, or magnify the surrounding rock response to the blastinginduced vibration.展开更多

In this paper, the separation variable method is used to solve the displacement potential function for the propagation of the blasting vibration waves. In the axis coordinate system, the particle motion and stress change with axial distance, radial distance and time is obtained in surrounding rock. The peak particle velocity law in surrounding rock under different blast loads and surrounding rock parameters is discussed. In addition, the particle vibration characteristics in the surrounding rock are studied using numerical simulations method. The results shows that the peak particle velocity in surrounding rock appears negative exponent attenuation with the increase of axial distance, but it appears positive and negative fluctuations in radial direction. This phenomenon is a new discovery and it has been rarely investigated before. Moreover, the peak particle velocity attenuates more quickly and intensely in the near blasting field, which means that the supporting structure in a shorter distance away from the heading face is vulnerable to the impact of blasting vibration. Theattenuation of blasting vibration velocity is closely related to charge length, blasting load amplitude, attenuation index and rock elastic modulus. The numerical simulation accomplishes the same results and then demonstrates the validity of theoretical results.展开更多

An analyticaldiscrete modelof urban underground tunnels subjected to verticalearthquake excitations is proposed by considering the first verticalvibration mode. Taking a light railproject in Tianjin as an example, this study uses the proposed discrete modelto analyze the displacements of tunneland soilunder verticalearthquake excitations. The soildisplacement responses at different tunnellocations are analyzed with linear random vibration theory. The computationalcost is greatly reduced using the proposed model. It can be seen that different from the case of horizontalearthquakes, the displacement responses under verticalearthquake excitations keep growing after seismic acceleration reaches its peak for a short duration, and then, they begin to decay. The soils at different positions around the tunnels have large relative displacement under verticalearthquake excitations. Moreover, a finite-element modelis also established for displacement responses using ABAQUS.The comparison with the results of the finite-element modelshows that the results of the proposed discrete modelare available.展开更多

The results show that molecular alignment significantly affects the ionization rate, as the rate is mainly determined by the electron density distribution of the highest occupied molecular orbital. The present work indicates that the ratios of alignment-dependent rates of different vibrational levels to that of the vibrational ground level increase for the aligned N2 at the angle θ = 0?, and suggests that the alignment-dependent tunneling ionization rates can be used as a diagnostics for the influence of vibrational excitation on the strong field ionization of molecules.展开更多

In order to study the influence of modifications of aerodynamic configuration and accessory components on flutter and vortex-induced vibration (VIV), more than 60 cases were tested through a 1:50 scale section model. The test results indicates that the aerodynamic configuration and accessory components of streamline box girders can signifi- cantly affect the wind-induced vibration of bridge, which is in good agreement with the experience of past researchers. From the tests carried out, it is observed that if the horizontal angle of the inclined web of the streamline box girder is below 16°, the critical flutter wind speed of bridge will increase remarkably, and the VIV will diminish. The test results also show that the 15° inclined web can restrain the formation of vortex near the tail, and consequently improve the performance of aerodynamic stability of long-span bridges. Finally, a new streamline box girder with 15° inclined web was presented and strongly recommended in the aerodynamic configuration design of long-span bridges.展开更多

文摘The tunneling ionization rates of vibrationally excited N2 molecules at the ground electronic state are calculated using molecular orbital Ammosov–Delone–Krainov theory considering R-dependence. The results show that molecular alignment significantly affects the ionization rate, as the rate is mainly determined by the electron density distribution of the highest occupied molecular orbital. The present work indicates that the ratios of alignment-dependent rates of different vibrational levels to that of the vibrational ground level increase for the aligned N2 at the angle θ = 0?, and suggests that the alignment-dependent tunneling ionization rates can be used as a diagnostics for the influence of vibrational excitation on the strong field ionization of molecules.

文摘This paper presents a numerical prediction of the unsteady flow field around oscillating airfoils at high angles of attack by solving unsteady Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations with SST turbulence model in order to simulate the effects of wind tunnel model vibrations on the aerodynamic properties of airfoils, especially high-aspect-ratio wings in a wind tunnel. The effects of the phase lagging between different modes of oscillations,i.e.,the airfoil plunging oscillation mode, the pitching oscillation mode, and the forward-backward oscillation mode, are also studied. It is shown that the vibrations (oscillations) of airfoils can cause the unsteady shedding of large-size separated vortex to precede the stationary stall incidence, hence lead to a stall onset at some earlier (lower) incidence than that in the steady sense. The different phase lagging has different effect on the flow field. When the pitching oscillation mode has small phase lagging behind the plunging oscillation mode, the effect of vibrations is large.Besides,if the amplitude of the oscillations is large enough, and the different modes of vibrations match or combine appropriately, the unsteady stall may occur 2° earlier in angle of attack than the case where airfoils keep stationary.
文摘According to the blasting construction of the diaphragm wall of Puxi approaching section of East Fuxing Road river-crossing tunnel, the monitoring project of the vibration of the existing tun-nel induced by the blasting construction is put forward, which includes the sensors’ location, moni-tor method and the vibration monitoring system. Based on the monitoring data of the explosion vibration, the vibration wave forms, velocities, acceleration responses, main frequencies and fields of measure points are analyzed under the conditions of three locations and different charge quanti-ties. According to the safety-judging standard of explosion vibration, the conclusion that the exist- ing tunnel is safe under the explosion vibration is then drawn. Furthermore, the spectrum character-istics of three explosion vibrations and the spectrum changing properties of explosion vi-bration wave transmitting in different directions are concluded, which can provide reference to similar projects.
文摘In this paper, the method of vibration measurement and modal analysis for AM50 Tunneller machine is presented. When the machine was used for cutting man made coal bed and real coal bed, the vibration of the machine was measured and the results of signal analysis show that the vibration characteristics under the two kinds of working situations are similar. The modal model of the machine is established, and then, the intrinsic vibration characteristics of AM50 tunneller are investigated by means of the method of experimental modal analysis. The vibration response simulation under a set of loading spectra measured is carried out by force response simulation software.

文摘Full aero-elastic model tests are carried out to investigate wind-induced vibration of middle steel pylon of Taizhou Bridge. Model of the pylon under different construction periods is tested in both uniform and turbulent flow field. And the yaw angle of wind changes from transverse to longitudinal. Through full aero-elastic model testing, wind-induced vibration is checked, which includes vortex resonance, buffeting and galloping. Vortex resonance is observed and further studies are carried out by changing damping ratio. Based on wind tunnel testing results, wind-resistance of middle pylon is evaluated and some suggestions are given for middle pylon's construction.
文摘Streamline box girders are widely applied in the design and construction of long-span bridges all over the world. Finally, a new streamline box girder with 15° inclined web was presented and strongly recommended in the aerodynamic configuration design of long-span bridges.

文摘Underground railway vibration source strength is one of the key values used for environmental impact assessment and the evaluation of mitigation measure’s performance. However, currently there is no international standard of measuring the underground railway vibration source strength for such purposes. The available local standards and industrial guidelines do not agree on measurement locations as well as the metrics for presenting the source strength. This has caused many confusions. This paper aims to study the suitable measurement location and metrics using the data from a large scale field-testing carried out at the Nanchang underground railway(Metro Line 1,China)in 2017.200 passing trains were recorded during the test at two different sections of the railway line, one with the spring floating slab installed and the other without.Three locations were chosen at each section, including one in the middle of the track and two on the tunnel wall at different heights.Based on the results of statistical analysis, the maximum of z-weighted vertical vibration level(VLzmax)obtained at a lower measurement location on the tunnel wall is the best for representing the underground railway vibration source strength, which is 76.66 dB obtained from this study.
