UV-LED表面消毒辐射场的数学模拟体系的建立及试验验证

为了实现紫外发光二极管(Ultraviolet Light-Emitting Diodes,UV-LED)表面消毒器设计的优化、高效、智能化目的,研究建立了UV-LED表面消毒辐射场的数学模型,并进行了试验验证。根据该数学模型,编写了VBA(Visual Basic for Applications... 为了实现紫外发光二极管(Ultraviolet Light-Emitting Diodes,UV-LED)表面消毒器设计的优化、高效、智能化目的,研究建立了UV-LED表面消毒辐射场的数学模型,并进行了试验验证。根据该数学模型,编写了VBA(Visual Basic for Applications)程序,对辐射场进行了模拟和分析。结果显示,辐射模型的计算值与实测值接近,试验验证了辐射模型的可行性。试验进行了应用举例,当照射距离与灯间距的比值为0.4时,选择最大发光角90°的UV-LED可使辐射场最优化;当照射距离与灯间距的比值为0.8和1.6时,对应的最优选择分别是45°和30°的UV-LED。数学模型和相关计算方法为优化设计紫外线表面消毒设施提供了模拟、优化的有效工具。 展开更多

超声-紫外(US-UVC)联用绿色科学养护当归

目的采用超声净洗和短波紫外(UVC)消毒技术联用绿色科学养护中药材当归,通过定期观测,分时段取样测定各中国药典指标,同时UVC消毒再养护,根据结果评价养护效果并分析优化确定超声-紫外(US-UVC)联用养护当归药材的最佳条件.方法以纯净水... 目的采用超声净洗和短波紫外(UVC)消毒技术联用绿色科学养护中药材当归,通过定期观测,分时段取样测定各中国药典指标,同时UVC消毒再养护,根据结果评价养护效果并分析优化确定超声-紫外(US-UVC)联用养护当归药材的最佳条件.方法以纯净水清洗当归(CG-W)和超声净洗当归(CG-US)作为对照组,将当归超声净洗后干燥直至足干,再利用UVC照射消毒至设定的时间,通过定期肉眼观测和分时段测定各种药典指标及其变化,综合评价养护效果.结果CG-W对照组当归18月后仍无霉变但有极其轻微的虫蛀,到24月时出现了略微的霉变,似有轻微色变和隐约渗油,历时27月时出现可见且明显的虫蛀;对照组CG-US当归21月末出现轻微虫蛀,24月时虫蛀仍然较轻,且无明显霉变和色变;US-UVC联用养护组中US-UVC-0.5h组在27月末出现了轻微药材粉末,且在27~30月间仅有部分药材出现虫蛀,且一直没有霉变和色变,颜色无明显变化,而US-UV-1.0h组的当归在贮藏至30月末时出现了极轻虫蛀迹象.US-UV-2.0h、US-UV-3.0h和US-UV-4.0h各组当归在养护后贮藏期间的30月内始终保持表观完好无损的状态,既无虫蛀也无霉变、色变现象发生.对照组及试验各组各时段所测定的各种主要药典指标均符合要求,且由测定结果的相对标准偏差(RSD)值及其范围足以说明测定方法的重复性和稳定性良好.结论考虑成本和养护时效,以US-UVC-2.0h养护为最佳养护配比组合进行养护,养护后当归药材完好贮藏期超过30月,US-UVC联用养护中药材当归具有经济高效、操作简便、省时节能、安全环保等特点,可以推广应用. 展开更多

Objective The growth and repair potential of three typical microorganisms in reclaimed water after UV disinfection was investigated to assess the effects of photo-reactivation and dark repair of microorganisms,and the microbial safety of reclaimed water following this procedure.Methods The growth and repair potential of Escherichia coli,a fecal coliform strain and Bacillus subtilis in the effluent of a biological wastewater treatment plant disinfected by a low-pressure UV lamp were investigated.Results Any increase in bacterial numbers in the effluent after UV disinfection was due to damage repair.Exposure to photo-reactivating light for 8-10 h after UV irradiation with a dose of 5 mJ/cm 2,the highest percentage of photo-reactivation observed for E.coli and the fecal coliform strain was 29% and 15% respectively.B.subtilis showed little photo-reactivation under these conditions.The percentage of photo-reactivation was related to the UV dose and the photo-reactivating time,and a function was developed to forecast the final concentrations of E.coli and the fecal coliform strain after UV disinfection with possible photo-reactivation.Conclusion Different species of bacteria displayed different responses to UV light and different repair potentials.The repair of indigenous bacteria in wastewater needs to be investigated in future work. 展开更多

Two strains H2-410 and H2-419 were obtained from the chemically mutated survivors of wild Haematococcus pluvialis 2 by using ethyl methanesulphonate (EMS). Strains H2-410 and H2-419 showed a fast cell growth with 13% and 20% increase in biomass compared to wild type, respectively. Then H2-419-4, a fast cell growth and high astaxanthin accumulation strain, was obtained by exposing the strain H2-419 to ultraviolet radiation (UV) further. The total biomass, the astaxanthin content per cell, astaxanthin production of H2-419-4 showed 68%, 28%, and 120% increase compared to wild H. pluvialis 2, respectively. HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography) data showed also an obvious proportional variation of different carotenoid compositions in the extracts of H2-419-4 and the wild type, although no peak of carotenoids appeared or disappeared. Therefore, the main compositions in strain H2-419-4, like its wild one, were free of astaxanthin, monoester, and diester of astaxanthin. The asexual reproduction in survivors after exposed to UV was not synchronous, and different from the normal synchronous asexual reproduction as the mother cells were motile instead of non-motile. Interestingly, some survivors from UV irradiation produced many mini-spores (or gamete?), the spores moved away from the mother cell gradually 4 or 5 days later. This is quite similar to sexual reproduction described by Elliot in 1934. However, whether this was sexual reproduction remains questionable, as no mating process has been observed. 展开更多

We studied the disinfection effect of a new ultraviolet (UV) sterilizer and its utilization on ultrasound probe surfaces. Carrier quantitative germicidal tests, simulated on-the-spot trials, and organic substance influence tests were used to carry out experimental observation. Artificially infected probes were disinfected using the sterilizer or a germicidal lamp for comparison. The total number and types of bacteria were determined and identified. Our results demonstrated the sterilizer had the best disinfection effect among three different disinfection methods in hospital. The sterilizer has been used in a hospital setting for 2 years with no notable damage to the ultrasound probe instrument. It has the advantages of fast disinfection, high disinfection effect, and good compatibility with the ultrasound instrument, worthy of being a promoted application in medical institutions. 展开更多

叶用莴苣特有的苦味来源于倍半萜内酯类化合物,主要包括山莴苣苦素和莴苣苦素等。为探究紫外光对叶用莴苣生长和倍半萜内酯类化合物的调控作用,以纯红光(180μmol·m^(-2)·s^(-1))为对照,比较了补充UV-A(30μmol·m^(-2)&#... 叶用莴苣特有的苦味来源于倍半萜内酯类化合物,主要包括山莴苣苦素和莴苣苦素等。为探究紫外光对叶用莴苣生长和倍半萜内酯类化合物的调控作用,以纯红光(180μmol·m^(-2)·s^(-1))为对照,比较了补充UV-A(30μmol·m^(-2)·s^(-1))、UV-B(10μmol·m^(-2)·s^(-1))对7个叶用莴苣品种生长及倍半萜内酯类化合物的影响;并进一步分析了红外光添加UV-A补光强度(15、30、45μmol·m^(-2)·s^(-1))及补光时长(0、1、2、3、6、9 d)对叶用莴苣倍半萜内酯类化合物含量的影响。结果表明:添加UV-A处理可显著提高绿罗的地上部鲜质量,显著降低7个叶用莴苣品种的山莴苣苦素和莴苣苦素含量,分别降低了33%~74%和29%~60%。随着UV-A补光强度的增加,叶用莴苣中倍半萜内酯类化合物含量逐渐降低,且以添加30μmol·m^(-2)·s^(-1)UV-A处理2 d后叶用莴苣中山莴苣苦素含量迅速上升,处理3 d时达到峰值,随后逐渐降低;而莴苣苦素含量在处理2 d后基本保持逐步上升的趋势,处理6~9 d时略有下降。综上所述,红光补充适量的UV-A(30μmol·m^(-2)·s^(-1)、3~6 d),可在不影响生物量的基础上显著降低叶用莴苣中倍半萜内酯类化合物含量,从而减轻苦味。 展开更多

在使用紫外发光二极管(Ultraviolet light-emitting diodes,UV-LED)进行表面消毒时,物体表面会出现部分区域消毒剂量超出必要,部分区域消毒剂量不足的现象。理想的辐射场是物体表面各点的辐射照度相同。为了优化辐射场,建立了辐射场的... 在使用紫外发光二极管(Ultraviolet light-emitting diodes,UV-LED)进行表面消毒时,物体表面会出现部分区域消毒剂量超出必要,部分区域消毒剂量不足的现象。理想的辐射场是物体表面各点的辐射照度相同。为了优化辐射场,建立了辐射场的通用公式,编写VBA程序,实现了对辐射场的数学模拟、分析和优化。对9种UV-LED辐射模式的辐射场进行了实际模拟分析。结果显示:对于由多颗UV-LED组成的光源板,辐射距离与UV-LED间距的比以及UV-LED的辐射模式是辐射场均匀性的决定因素。由于边缘效应,在光源板正下方投影的边长的80%范围内才有可能实现辐射场均匀。当辐射距离和UV-LED间距之比在3~15的范围内时,均匀性良好(最小和最大值的比≥81.8%)。较小的最大发光角的辐射模式在照射距离和UV-LED间距比例偏大的情况下更为适用,反之亦然。 展开更多

The concentration of suspended solids of effluent often varies in a wide range, therefore the dose of ultraviolet light (UV) in disinfection process needs to be adjusted to meet the disinfection criterion at a high frequency, and the desired disinfection effect is difficult to be ensured. The particles size and particle-associated fecal coliform (F.C.) contribution, and their influence on UV disinfection were investigated when ClO2 and UV combined disinfection process was used. The results showed that suspended solids content had a major impact on UV disinfection efficiency, especially the large particle size fraction. Particles (D〉10μm) associated F. C. were difficult to be disinfected and were the main part of the railings of F.C. inactivation curve. Pre-ClO2 oxidation could reduce the number of particles in effluent, and make large particles decrease to small ones. Therefore, the influence of particles on UV disinfection could be reduced after pre-ClO2 oxidation, and the resistance ability to particle loadings of combined process was enhanced. Moreover, the combined process has a lot of advantages, such as low toxicity, low operational/maintenance costs; it is also convenient to be established in the existing wastewater plant or the new planned one. 展开更多

Disinfection of Primary Municipal Wastewater Effluents Using Continuous UV and Ozone Treatment

UV radiation and ozonation were investigated as disinfection alternatives for the wastewater treatment plant. The inactivation of total and fecal coliforms using ozone and ultraviolet radiation as separate treatments was evaluated. Different ozone concentrations (3 to 40 mg O3/L) were applied and UV fluencies ranging from 8.5 to 12 mJ/cm2 at different pH values (from 5 to 9) were tested. Best results were obtained for ozone doses near 20 mg/min with removals of 72% and 78% of fecal and total coliforms, respectively. The ozone also was capable of oxidizing organic matter in the effluent measured as COD (the highest removal obtained was 36% for 20 mg O3/min). Maximum bacterial resistance was observed at pH 7 in both cases. The UV light offered a high bacterial inactivation (over 80%) and the lowest bacterial inactivation was observed at pH 7. Finally, we obtained the electric energy per order (EEO, kWh/m3/order), defined as the electric energy (kW-h) required to degrade a contaminant by one order of magnitude in a unit volume of contaminated water, being noteworthy that EEO values for the UV process resulted were lower than those determined for the process with ozone in all the water flow tested. 展开更多

The concentration of suspended solids in the secondary effluent often varies widely, leading to frequent adjustment of the UV dosage to meet the disinfection criterion. In addition, a desired disinfection rate is difficult to achieve sometimes. The authors studied the particle size distribution, contribution of particle-associated Fecal Coliform (F.C.), and their influences on UV disinfection. A combined disinfection process (chlorination with a subsequent UV disinfection) was tested to improve the disinfection effect. The results indicated that the content of suspended solids, especially that of large particles, has a strong impact on UV disinfection efficiency; D>10 μm particles associated F.C. are difficult to be disinfected and are the main part of the tailings of F.C. inactivation curves. Pre-chlorination could decrease the number of particles in the secondary effluent and transform the large particles into small ones, reducing the influence of particles on UV disinfection and enhancing the resistance ability of the combined process to particle loading. 展开更多

为研究供水系统中紫外线与氯顺序消毒(UV-氯)后管网生物膜的应激反应,本文搭建消毒至供水管网的连续流实验装置,设置不同剂量的UV-氯消毒单元,探索和比较消毒后管网生物膜微生物活性、群落结构、胞外聚合物(extracellular polymeric sub... 为研究供水系统中紫外线与氯顺序消毒(UV-氯)后管网生物膜的应激反应,本文搭建消毒至供水管网的连续流实验装置,设置不同剂量的UV-氯消毒单元,探索和比较消毒后管网生物膜微生物活性、群落结构、胞外聚合物(extracellular polymeric substances,EPS)组成和代谢特征的变化。结果表明:UV-氯消毒较单独氯后生物膜微生物表现出明显的团聚现象。生物膜中微生物以γ-变形菌纲、α-变形菌纲和拟杆菌纲为主,余氯量对生物膜优势菌群的影响要高于紫外剂量带来的影响。EPS含量受到余氯及紫外剂量的共同作用,其中蛋白质比例高于多糖。代尔夫特菌属、寡养单胞菌属、鞘脂菌属、假单胞菌属和甲基杆菌属等是影响EPS合成的重要菌属。其中,假单胞菌属、甲基杆菌属、鞘氨醇单胞菌属具有耐氯性,假单胞菌属、代尔夫特菌属不耐紫外。该研究成果有助于了解管网中生物膜情况,并可为UV-氯消毒对饮用水微生物安全问题的影响提供一定参考。 展开更多

紫外消毒是灭活新型冠状病毒COVID-19的有效方法之一,具有高效、广谱、彻底、无抗药和无二次污染等优点。紫外消毒的效果取决于微生物所接受到的紫外辐射波长和辐射剂量等因素。准确的紫外辐射照度测量和控制合适的UVC紫外辐射剂量是达... 紫外消毒是灭活新型冠状病毒COVID-19的有效方法之一,具有高效、广谱、彻底、无抗药和无二次污染等优点。紫外消毒的效果取决于微生物所接受到的紫外辐射波长和辐射剂量等因素。准确的紫外辐射照度测量和控制合适的UVC紫外辐射剂量是达到有效杀菌消毒效果的重要条件。紫外辐射剂量不足不能有效杀灭病毒,过量则造成能源浪费、物品老化甚至人体伤害。本文介绍了紫外辐射的波长划分、紫外消毒的原理、紫外辐射剂量、紫外消毒(杀菌)灯和紫外辐射照度计的选择和使用方法。研究表明:对于不同的紫外辐照水平,UVC消毒所需的紫外辐射剂量存在较大差异。因此紫外消毒时不仅要考虑紫外辐射剂量,还要关注紫外辐射照度的强弱。建议尽快开展紫外辐射照度水平与新型冠状病毒COVID-19紫外消毒效果的定量化研究。 展开更多
