Methods: One patient underwent right ureterolithotomy and left varicocelectomy, and the patient was performed with right simple nephrectomy for nonfunctioning kidney due to ureteral calculus and left ureterolithotomy using a novel multichannel TriPortTM via a single 2-3 cm transumbilical incision Results: The right-side ureterolithotomy and left-side varicocelectomy were finished in 229 minutes, with a total estimated blood loss of 50 hal. The right-side simple nephrectomy and left-side ureterolithotomy in the other patient were finished in 340 minutes, with a total estimated blood loss of 100 ml. There were no major complications. At the latest follow-up, both patients remained symptom-free and there were no evidences of recurrence. Both of them were delighted for the single scarConclusion: Synchronous LESS urologic procedure via a single umbilical incision is technically feasible, safe and efficacious with a promising potential展开更多

Herein we report the case of a 13-year-old girl with a congenital umbilical mass. This mass had been misdiagnosed as a lipoma at birth. Awareness of this lesion can avoid its misdiagnosis and inappropriate treatment.展开更多

The study resulted in the inventory of 5938 individuals divided into 20 families and 30 species, more dominated by the Carangidae, Clupeidae and Sciaenidae, which each account for 10% of the species total population. A high concentration of planktonic ichthyo organisms was observed in the Sonfonia, Samatran, Soumba and Arabanty areas. In short, the constant presence of eggs and larvae of ontogenetic stages make these estuary and mangrove zones environments of advection, migration, ontogenetic development and feeding. Ichthyoplankton is one of the modern tools used in the bio-indication and bio-monitoring of aquatic ecosystems. A diverse population dominated by fish eggs and larvae is a sign that the ecosystems surveyed are functioning properly.展开更多
