The robust stability and robust stabilization problems for discrete singular systems with interval time-varying delay and linear fractional uncertainty are discussed. A new delay-dependent criterion is established for the nominal discrete singular delay systems to be regular, causal and stable by employing the linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach. It is shown that the newly proposed criterion can provide less conservative results than some existing ones. Then, with this criterion, the problems of robust stability and robust stabilization for uncertain discrete singular delay systems are solved, and the delay-dependent LMI conditions are obtained. Finally, numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach. 展开更多

This paper focused on a class of linear state-delayed systems with or without uncertainty. As for uncertain systems, dissipative uncertainty description contains norm-bounded and positive real uncertainties as special cases. The paper is concerned with the design of dissipative static state feedback controllers such that the closed-loop system is (robustly) asymptotically stable and strictly (Q,S,R)-dissipative. Sufficient conditions for the existence of the quadratic dissipative state feedback controllers are obtained by using a linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach. It is shown that the solvability of dissipative controller design problem is implied by the feasibility of LMIs. The main results of this paper unify the existing results on H ∞ control and passive control. 展开更多

This paper presents a robust H∞ output feedback control approach for structural systems with uncertainties in model parameters by using available acceleration measurements and proposes conditions for the existence of such a robust output feedback controller. The uncertainties of structural stiffness, damping and mass parameters are assumed to be norm-bounded. The proposed control approach is formulated within the framework of linear matrix inequalities, for which existing convex optimization techniques, such as the LM1 toolbox in MATLAB, can be used effectively and conveniently. To illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed robust H∞ strategy, a six-story building was subjected both to the 1940 E1 Centro earthquake record and to a suddenly applied Kanai-Tajimi filtered white noise random excitation. The results show that the proposed robust H∞ controller provides satisfactory results with or without variation of the structural stiffness, damping and mass parameters. 展开更多

A robust decentralized H∞ control problem for uncertain multi-channel systems is considered. The uncertainties are assumed to be time-invariant, norm-bounded, and exist in both the system and control input matrices. The dynamic output feedback is mainly dealt with. A necessary and sufficient condition for the uncertain multi-channel system to be stabilized robustly with a specified disturbance attenuation level is derived based on the bounded real lemma, which is reduced to a feasibility problem of a nonlinear matrix inequality (NMI). A two-stage homotopy method is used to solve the NMI iteratively. First, a decentralized controller for the nominal system with no uncertainty is computed by imposing structural constraints on the coefficient matrices of the controller gradually. Then the decentralized controller is modified, again gradually, to cope with the uncertainties. On each stage, a variable is fixed alternately at the iterations to reduce the NMI to a linear matrix inequality (LMI). A given example shows the efficiency of this method. 展开更多

By re-constructing the system, the dynamics of overall augmented error systems is obtained which involves unknown inputs represented by disturbances, model uncertainties and time-delays. As to the nominal system, sufficient conditions are provided for the existence of the mode-dependent H∞ filter by selecting the appropriate Lyapunov-Krasovskii function and the robust H∞ filter is proposed for the jump system while considering the time-delays and uncertainties. Both of above conditions for the existence of the H∞ filter and roust H∞ filter are presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities, and convex optimization problems are formulated to design the desired filters. By employing the proposed mode-dependent H∞ filter, the systems have the stochastic stability and better ability of restraining disturbances stochastically, and the given prescribed H∞ performance is guaranteed. Both discrete-delay-dependent/neutral-delay-independent and neutral-/discrete- delay-dependent stability criteria will be developed. The proposed stability criteria are formulated in the form of linear matrix inequalities and it is easy to check the robust stability of the considered systems. By introducing certain Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional the mathematical development of our result avoids model transformation and bounding for cross terms, which lead to conservatism. The design of decentralized robust H_∞ state feedback controller for large-scale interconnected systems with value bounded uncertainties existing in the state, control input and interconnected matrices was investigated. Based on the bounded real lemma a sufficient condition for the existence of a decentralized robust H_∞ state feedback controller was derived. This condition is expressed as the feasibility problem of a certain nonlinear matrix inequality. The controller, which makes the closed-loop large-scale system robust stable and satisfies the given H_∞ performance, is obtained by the offered homotopy iterative linear matrix inequality method. Furthermore, the convex property of each model with respect to the parametric uncertainties was estabilished respectively. Based on this, sufficient conditions for D-stability were expressed in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) involving only the convex vertices. A criterion for nominal systems is presented by taking the relationship between the terms in the Leibniz-Newton formula into account, which is described by some free-weighting matrices. In addition, this criterion is extended to robust stability of the systems with time-varying structured uncertainties. All of the criteria are based on linear matrix inequality such that it is easy to calculate the upper bound of the time-delay and the free-weighting matrices. Numerical examples illustrate the effectiveness and the improvement over the existing results. 展开更多

The same idea has also been easily extended to the systems with nonlinear perturbations. Numerical examples illustrated the effectiveness and the improvement of the proposed approach. It can be easily determined whether or not, it is feasible and one can easily obtain the decentralized stabilizing state feedback matrices via LMI techniques. Some new criteria are presented, in which some free weighting matrices are used to express the relationships between the terms in the Leibniz-Newton formula. The criteria include the information on the size of both neutral-and-discrete delays. It is shown that the present results also include the results for identical discrete-and-neutral delays as special cases. Robust H-infinity filtering for a class of uncertain discrete-time linear systems with time delays and missing measurements is studied in this paper. The uncertain parameters are supposed to reside in a convex polytope and the missing measurements are described by a binary switching sequence satisfying a Bernoulli distribution. Our attention is focused on the analysis and design of robust H-infinity filters such that, for all admissible parameter uncertainties and all possible missing measurements, the filtering error system is exponentially mean-square stable with a prescribed H-infinity disturbance attenuation level. A parameter-dependent approach is proposed to derive a less conservative result. Sufficient conditions are established for the existence of the desired filter in terms of certain linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). When these LMIs are feasible, an explicit expression of the desired filter is also provided. Finally, a numerical example is presented to illustrate the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed method. 展开更多

针对智能汽车在路径跟踪过程中因模型参数不确定性、外部干扰、系统状态时变性非线性等导致跟踪精度较低、鲁棒性较差的问题,设计基于鲁棒预测控制(RMPC)的路径跟踪控制方法.考虑轮胎的非线性特性,对轮胎侧偏刚度进行修正.考虑纵向车速... 针对智能汽车在路径跟踪过程中因模型参数不确定性、外部干扰、系统状态时变性非线性等导致跟踪精度较低、鲁棒性较差的问题,设计基于鲁棒预测控制(RMPC)的路径跟踪控制方法.考虑轮胎的非线性特性,对轮胎侧偏刚度进行修正.考虑纵向车速时变性,利用有限个多胞体顶点描述车辆纵向车速,建立离散的车辆多胞不确定模型.根据Lyapunov渐进稳定性和无穷时域二次型性能指标,采用带松弛变量的线性矩阵不等式(LMI),求解优化问题.利用改进后的离线鲁棒预测控制算法,提高了控制器的实时性并降低了保守性.通过SimulinkCarsim联合仿真和硬件在环试验,验证了控制器的有效性.仿真结果表明,所设计的控制器具有较好的跟踪精度和鲁棒性. 展开更多

由于风电功率预测的局限性,难以准确而有效地刻画风电功率的概率分布函数,提出考虑风电功率概率分布不确定性的含风电配电网无功规划方法。该方法可有效应用于风电概率分布集合中的任意分布情况,在一定概率约束下保证配电网的安全运行要... 由于风电功率预测的局限性,难以准确而有效地刻画风电功率的概率分布函数,提出考虑风电功率概率分布不确定性的含风电配电网无功规划方法。该方法可有效应用于风电概率分布集合中的任意分布情况,在一定概率约束下保证配电网的安全运行要求,同时最小化配电网网损和无功设备投资成本之和。采用概率分布鲁棒机会约束模型描述含风电的配电网无功规划问题,根据潮流平衡等式分离节点电压和支路功率约束中的随机向量,根据条件风险价值(CVaR)的物理意义构建关于节点电压约束和支路功率约束的CVaR模型,利用对偶优化、Schur补和S-lemma的性质将该模型转化为确定性的双线性矩阵不等式(BMI)问题。采用基于BMI优化的免疫粒子群算法求解该问题。改进的IEEE 33节点配电系统仿真结果验证了所提无功规划方法的可行性和有效性。 展开更多
