Construction and Practice of a Practical Teaching System for Normal Universities Based on Ability Cultivation

This study aims to explore the effect of project-based teaching methods on improving students’ abilities in normal universities. This study delves into the practice teaching system based on ability training implemented in normal universities, examining the application of this teaching model in teacher education and the potential challenges it may encounter. Our case study reveals that the Project-Based Learning (PBL) approach can effectively transform students from passive recipients of knowledge into active problem solvers, thereby enhancing their critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills. However, challenges do exist, including ensuring active participation from all students, providing equal opportunities for each student to develop and showcase their abilities, and completing complex projects within a limited timeframe. Therefore, teachers may need to adjust their teaching strategies, and schools need to provide more resources and support. These adjustments can help the practice teaching system based on ability training better serve teacher education and offer students a higher-quality educational experience.

Theory and Practice of Language Teaching and Learning in Vhembe District Primary Schools, Limpopo Province, South Africa

South Africa has 11 official languages enshrined in the Constitution of the country. An additional language, sign language was approved as an official language at the end of 2008. The Constitution of the Republic of South Africa and the South African Schools Act 84 of 1996 emphasise teaching and learning through any mother tongue, a learner would understand best. Section 29（1） of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa categorically states that： ＂Everyone has the right to receive education in the official language or languages of their choice in public educational institutions where that education is reasonably practicable＂. However, most text books written in English have been prescribed at many schools. One is not certain whether the subjects are taught in English or in the indigenous language at these schools. In the end, those teachers use the mother tongue, together with English, in teaching learners. This result in code switching and code mixing takes place in classes, which are meant to facilitate communication across barriers of colour, language, and region, while creating an environment in which respect for languages other than one＇s own would be encouraged. Teaching and learning in one＇s mother tongue promotes full participation in the economy of the country. The aim of the paper is to investigate teaching and learning in Vhembe primary schools of the Limpopo Province in South Africa, within the framework of existing legislation. This will be compared with empirical evidence. The researcher seeks to establish what language（s） primary schools use for teaching and learning. Based on this, conclusions and recommendations will be made to assist stakeholders in language-in-education policy formulation.

Practical effect of different teaching modes in teaching gastrointestinal surgery nursing

BACKGROUND With the continuous development and progress of medical technology,the position of surgical nursing in the field of clinical medicine is becoming in-creasingly prominent.As an important branch of the surgical field,the nursing requirements and difficulty of gastrointestinal surgery are also increasing.In order to improve the teaching quality of nursing care in gastrointestinal surgery,many educators and researchers are actively exploring new teaching methods.Among them,the teaching method case-based learning(CBL),scene-simulated learning(SSL),task-based learning(TBL),combining self-evaluation and training mode is considered as an effective method.This method aims to help students to better master knowledge and skills and improve their comprehensive quality by cultivating their self-evaluation ability.AIM To explore the practical effect of CBL-SSL-TBL combined with training mode and student self-assessment in nursing teaching of gastrointestinal surgery.METHODS Seventy-one nursing interns in our hospital from December 2020 to December 2021 were selected.According to different teaching modes,they were divided into observation group CBL-SSL-TBL combined with training mode combined with student self-assessment and control group(conventional teaching mode),of which 36 were in observation group and 35 were in control group.The results of operational skills,theoretical knowledge,nursing students'satisfaction,learning effectiveness questionnaire and teaching effect were compared between the two groups.RESULTS Compared between the two groups,the operational skills and theoretical knowledge scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared between the two groups,the total satisfaction ratio of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared between the two groups,the observation group was lower than the control group in the questionnaire results of learning efficacy,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared between the two groups,the proportion of thinking ability,subjective initiative and understanding of theoretical knowledge in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).CONCLUSION The use of CBL-SSL-TBL combined with training mode and student self-assessment in gastrointestinal surgery nursing teaching can improve the operational skills of nursing interns,theoretical knowledge and satisfaction scores of nursing students,improve the results of learning efficiency questionnaire and teaching effect,which can be popularized in clinical teaching.

Present Situation and its Causes of College English Learning and Practice Environment in China

Language learning must be conducted on the basis of acquisition, and the acquisition needs a certain environment as the material guarantee for the implementation of the learning activities. In China, English teaching lacks an advantageous learning environment as a Foreign Language （EFL） Teaching, which is one of main factors that more time is spent on the teaching but efficiency is not improved correspondingly. Current Situation of the Teaching of Ophthalmology in General Practice Medical Education and the Application of TBL

Ophthalmology is an integral part of general practice education,and it is of great significance to have some knowledge on ophthalmology even if the general practitioner is not an ophthalmologist.The subject characteristics,the traditional mode of teaching,and the cognitive deviation of students have greatly influenced its teaching quality.The application of team-based learning(TBL)in ophthalmology education responds to the demand of modern medical education.Building a team,designing questions that combine theory and clinical practice,as well as employing a fair scoring system can stimulate students’learning interest and improve their learning autonomy and ability to ask questions and solve problems.

Teaching for Learning Styles and Multiple Intelligences: a Personal Reflection

The paper reviewed what the literature has said about learning styles and multiple intelligences. By practicing a personal reflection on learning styles and multiple intelligences, the paper indicated that teachers need make paradigm shift respecting the fact that every student is gifted and can be taught with the same contents, approaches and assessment. Teaching for diversity should be implemented.

Teaching Reform of “Nursing of Traditional Chinese Medicine” Course Based on OBE Concept

Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)nursing is one of the important disciplines in TCM.It is based on TCM theory and combined with modern nursing theory and technology,aiming to provide comprehensive and individualized nursing services.With the changes in the medical environment and the continuous improvement of people’s health needs,the teaching of TCM nursing is facing new challenges and opportunities.This paper aims to discuss the teaching reform of TCM nursing course based on the concept of outcome-based education(OBE)or student-centered teaching.The significance of this study is to provide theoretical basis and practical guidance for the teaching reform of TCM nursing course,and to promote the development and progress of TCM nursing education.Through the teaching reform based on OBE concept,we can better cultivate TCM nursing talents with innovative spirit and practical skills,and contribute to the development of TCM.

The Practice of Presentation-Assimilation-Discussion (PAD) Class in the Practice and Training Course of Fundamental of Nursing Science Exploration and Effect Evaluation

Purpose: to discuss the practice pattern and application effect of PAD class in the practice and training course of Fundamental of Nursing Science for the nursing students in medical school. Method: PAD class is applied in the practice and training course of Fundamental of Nursing Science for 111 nursing students of the school, and after it is implemented, the recognition and achievement of the learning objectives during the implementation of "PAD class" are evaluated for the students, and the recognition of the students of nursing specialty on "PAD class" and their learning attitude and exam results before and after its implementation. Results: After implementation of PAD class, the recognition, learning attitude and exam results of the students of nursing specialty are higher those of them before its implementation (P < 0.05). Conclusions: The application of PAD class in the practice and training course of Fundamental of Nursing Science for the nursing students in the medical schools is conductive to the improvement of the learning enthusiasm of the students and their exam results.

Research and Reflection on Teaching of C Programming Language Design

C Language is a basic programming language and a compulsory foundation course for majors of science and engineering. Subjected to teaching periods,students have no time to do enough concrete integrated exercises. In teaching of C programming language design, both teachers and students have some problems. On the one hand teachers should change their teaching ideology, on the other hand,students should spontaneously study and improve their study motivation. In this way, students will improve their programming ability and apply what they learn comprehensively.

Exploration of C Language Practical Teaching Method Based on Project Learning

The paper explores the current situation and future development of nursing education and practice in Nigeria and their influence on health care. As the role of the nurse continues to expand, Nigerian nurses must be skillful in effectively using evidence-based and clinically relevant information to facilitate the best possible nursing care. Major issues and challenges in this regard are discussed with some recommendations on the way forward.

Unity编程及开发是计算机专业的一门基础课程,主要以Unity系列编程为研究对象,课程结合Visual Studio、3d Max、Unity平台对软件进行设计,学生通过布置的课后作业完成相关的课程任务,而这样的培养模式已经不能满足现在计算机开发行业的用人需求。伴随着计算机技术的发展和行业需求的变化,传统Unity项目开发软件工程师课程培养的人才缺少创新及动态适应能力,对应多变的计算机软件开发行业尤其是虚拟现实技术开发等新行业,传统“教和练”的模式已无法满足Unity编程行业的需求。该文提出“课、赛、研”三融通教学模式,以培养学生成为具有“懂理论、会开发、能创新、有情怀、善沟通”的复合型计算机软件开发人才为目的,在实践教学中取得较好效果。

The Practical Path to Cultivating Innovative Talents:Implementing Cross-Disciplinary Learning Communities in Environmental Design Education

In response to the national strategy of“vigorously cultivating interdisciplinary talents and actively promoting interdisciplinary integration,”this article focuses on the nationally recognized Environmental Design program at Hezhou University’s College of Design,leveraging local industry advantages to engage in interdisciplinary integration through educational practices.Using the“Construction of the Panoramic Virtual Nature Museum of the Guizhou Crocodile Lizard at Mount Dagui”as a case study,we aim to establish a professional and interdisciplinary learning community,incorporate student-centered interactive teaching methods,boost student motivation,enhance teaching quality,nurture forward-thinking versatile innovative talents,and provide a guideline for interdisciplinary educational reform.

在电气工程专业实践教学过程中凝练出由Turn up、Turn away、Turn back等环节组成的3-Turns教学法。经过多轮的实践应用,3-Turns教学法在实践共同体中提供了一个兼具解释性与可操作性的教学样例。研究发现,3-Turns教学法对实践共同体促进工科生深度学习起到了提质增效的作用;3-Turns教学法为工程实践学习情境的强化设计提供了理论依据与经验支持。该研究验证了基于3-Turns教学法的实践共同体促进工科生深度学习的有效性,为助力工科人才培养质量的持续提升做出了积极的探索与实践。

微信辅助的案例教学法在脑血管病临床实习带教中的应用效果

目的探讨微信辅助的案例教学法在脑血管病临床实习带教中的应用效果。方法选择2022年9月至12月于苏州大学附属第二医院神经内科实习的80名实习生作为研究对象,按照随机数字表法分为观察组和对照组,每组各40名。观察组采用微信辅助的案例教学法,对照组采用传统教学法。评估两组学生的考核成绩,综合素质和教学满意度。结果观察组的理论知识成绩、实践技能成绩和综合素质评分均高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。同时,观察组教学满意度高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论微信辅助的案例教学法在神经内科脑血管病临床实习带教中具有良好的应用效果,该方法值得在神经内科临床实习教学中推广应用。
