Fluorination generally improves the stability and reduce...The design of advanced electrolytes hinges critically on a comprehensive comprehension of lithium-ion migration mechanisms within these electrochemical systems. Fluorination generally improves the stability and reduces the reactivity of organic compounds, making them potentially suitable for use in harsh conditions such as those found in a battery electrolyte. However,the specific properties, such as the solvation power, diffusivity, ion mobility, and so forth, would depend on the exact nature and extent of the fluorination. In this work, we introduce a theoretical framework designed to facilitate the autonomous creation of electrolyte molecular structures and craft methodologies to compute transport coefficients, providing a physical interpretation of fluoride systems. Taking fluorinated-1,2-diethoxyethanes as electrolyte solvents, we present and analyze the relationship between the electronic properties and atomic structures, and further correlate these properties to the transport coefficients, resulting in a good alignment with the experimental diffusion behaviors and Li-solvation structures. The insights derived from this research contribute to the methodological basis for high-throughput evaluation of prospective electrolyte systems, and consequently, propose strategic directions for the improvement of electrochemical cycle characteristics. This comprehensive exploration of the transport mechanisms enhances our understanding, offering avenues for further advancements in the field of lithium-ion battery technology.展开更多
Iterative control structures allow the repeated execution of tasks,activities or sub-processes according to the given conditions in a process model.Iterative control structures can significantly increase the risk of t...Iterative control structures allow the repeated execution of tasks,activities or sub-processes according to the given conditions in a process model.Iterative control structures can significantly increase the risk of triggering temporal exceptions since activities within the scope of these control structures could be repeatedly executed until a predefined condition is met.In this paper,we propose two approaches to unravel iterative control structures from process models.The first approach unravels loops based on zero-one principle.The second approach unravels loops based on branching probabilities assigned at split gateways.The proposed methods can be used to unfold structured loops,nested loops and crossing loops.Since the unfolded model does not contain any iterative control structures,it can be used for further analysis by process designers during the modeling phase.The proposed methods are implemented based on workflow graphs,and therefore they are compatible with modeling languages such as Business Process Modelling Notation(BPMN).In the experiments,the execution behavior of unfolded process models is compared against the original models based on the concept of runs.Experimental results reveal that runs generated from the original models can be correctly executed in the unfolded BPMN models that do not contain any loops.展开更多

A better understanding of the mechanisms mediating salt resistance will help researchers design ways to improve crop performance under adverse environmental conditions. Salt stress can lead to ionic stress, osmotic stress and secondary stresses, particularly oxidative stress, in plants. Therefore, to adapt to salt stress, plants rely on signals and pathways that re-establish cellular ionic, osmotic, and reactive oxygen species (ROS) homeostasis. Over the past two decades, genetic and biochemical analyses have revealed several core stress signaling pathways that participate in salt resistance. The Salt Overly Sensitive signaling pathway plays a key role in maintaining ionic homeostasis, via extruding sodium ions into the apoplast. Mitogenactivated protein kinase cascades mediate ionic, osmotic, and ROS homeostasis. SnRK2 (sucrose nonfermenting l-related protein kinase 2) proteins are involved in maintaining osmotic homeostasis. In this review, we discuss recent progress in identifying the components and pathways involved in the plant's response to salt stress and their regulatory mechanisms. There are many different unravelings corresponding to di...The nature of the quantum trajectories, described by stochastic master equations, may be jump-like or diffusive, depending upon different measurement processes. There are many different unravelings corresponding to different types of stochastic master equations for a given master equation. In this paper, we study the relationship between the quantum stochastic master equations and the quantum master equations in the Markovian case under feedback control. We show that the corresponding unraveling no longer exists when we further consider feedback control besides measurement. It is due to the fact that the information gained by the measurement plays an important role in the control process. The master equation governing the evolution of ensemble average cannot be restored simply by eliminating the noise term unlike the case without a control term. By establishing a fundamental limit on performance of the master equation with feedback control, we demonstrate the differences between the stochastic master equation and the master equation via theoretical proof and simulation, and show the superiority of the stochastic master equation for feedback control.展开更多
