Improving the Quality of Urban Space and Shaping the Characteristics of Urban Culture: Under the Rapid Urbanization Phase of Jiangsu Province

China is currently undergoing the most inf luential urbanization phase in its history, and this process will probably last for a few decades to come. Along with the accelerated urbanization, the quality of development has been elevated to an equal position with the quantity. Being one of the most developed and best urbanized provinces in China, Jiangsu has achieved an urbanization rate of 57%. Dealing with large construction scales, Jiangsu is presently striving to improve the quality of its urban space, and to elevate human settlements to a higher level. By contextualizing Jiangsu's urbanization within a certain development stage and a specif ic historical era, the paper proposes the overall idea and action strategies for improving the quality of urban space, on the basis of the analysis on contemporary cultural pursuits. It aims at changing the current situation of "one outlook for thousands of cities," improving the quality of urban space and the competitiveness of urban culture, and eventually creating better human settlements and a harmonious society.

Growth and Function of Urban Cultural Space Seen from Guangfu Morning Tea Culture

Morning tea culture taking Guangzhou as the core and the Pearl River Delta as the traffic area is taken as the research object.The evolution of the way of morning tea is analyzed,and internal and external conditions for the formation of urban cultural space are analyzed,and the growth and function of urban cultural space are explored.Through theoretical sampling method and grounded theory method,taking social media views as data source,the dimensions of the cultural space of Guangfu morning tea are explored,and the dimensions involved in the construction of cultural space of Guangfu morning tea are discussed,and the relationship between the cultural space of morning tea and human being is understood,to better explore how to construct the cultural space of morning tea,and find out the growth dimension of urban cultural space.The growth and function of urban cultural space are examined from the perspective of urban cultural space,thereby providing suggestions for the development of urban cultural space.

Urban Public Space Development in Harbin Driven by Music Culture Intervention

"Social event driving" has become a way to promote urban development, create urban public spaces and create a city image. As one of the important big cities in northeastern China, Harbin enjoys the reputation of "The Music City", and its public space development is inextricably linked with the driving of music culture. This paper started with the analysis of the correlation between the development of urban public spaces and the development of music culture in Harbin, and studied the influence and driving role of music culture on the construction and development of urban public spaces.

The transformation and governance of urban villages with historic culture is faced with difficulties such as lack of attention and large-scale demolition and construction,which is not conducive to the continuation of urban characteristic culture.Taking Xiaxifang,Yongfeng County,Ji'an City,Jiangxi Province for example,this study explored the transformation and governance of urban villages with historic culture from the perspectives of spatial structure,urban function,infrastructure,ecological environment,and community governance,so as to provide a reference for the research and practice of urban villages with historic culture.

What Culture in European Cities?The Desperate Struggle of European Cultures against the American One

For a long time,American culture has been spreading and replacing other European cultures.This is a significant change.According to the French writer Régis Debray,images are replacing writing,the theme of happiness is replacing drama,and space is replacing time.Additionally,according to the German sociologist Max Weber,Protestantism has made Americans"ascetic inside the world,"meaning individuals are solely responsible for their own well-being and success in society.The idea of"collective grace"is suspect.In urban life,there is a void that is filled by tribalism,such as sports,music,and events.Unfortunately,in urban planning,public spaces for people to gather,like parks or public squares,are often neglected.Water and green spaces could be valuable resources in filling this void.However,there is a potential risk of private brands taking over placemaking.

Urban Public Spaces and Design of Historical and Cultural Buildings——Series II of Urban Public Space Design

This paper summarized concept and role of urban public space, highlighted its role in emotional exchange, cultural exchange, and business communication, and the significance of showing inside image of the city in terms of morality and residents' quality. Combining with design of historical and cultural buildings, the paper explored the forms of historical and cultural buildings in urban public spaces from the perspectives of administration square, religious square, cultural square and commercial street, so as to design "human-concerned" urban public spaces that meet human needs and reflect personality of the city.

Urban Cultural Excavation and Reconstruction in the Perspective of Cultural Interaction:An Example of Modern Counter-Industrial Development on the Suzhou Riverbank

Urban culture,as the core force of urban development,has been explored more deeply in the process of modern urban transformation and construction.However,cities have their own unique memories,and cultural continuity and heritage require further innovation.The Suzhou River was the center of Shanghai’s initial development and carries an important cultural heritage.In 1996,Shanghai launched the comprehensive environmental improvement of the Suzhou River,which has achieved the reverse industrialization of the Suzhou River through the fine management of the city,and has made a good achievement of urban management and a new culture of the Suzhou River.This paper takes,Shanghai,a maritime city,as the background,takes the management of Suzhou River as the entry point to explore the new path of building urban culture in the new era,and studies the cultural significance contained in the fine management of modern cities.

Urban Design Based on Protection of Historic Space of Cultural Heritage:A Case Study of Urban Design of Dongguan District in Xi'an

Located in the east of Xi'an, Dongguan District is the area to the east of the Ming City wall.There is a great deal of precious architectural heritages in the area, including shrines such as the Wangji Temple, the Baxian Temple, the Catholic Church and the Laomu Temple, as well as protected dwellings such as the Xingqing Palace, the royal palace of the flouring period of the Tang Dynasty, and the Courtyard of Family Xi, etc.. Currently, securing Dongguan District protection and development has confronted with severe challenges. Based on the in-depth investigation of the status quo and objective analysis of pros and cons, this paper gives a clear definition for Dongguan District protection and development, and profoundly analyses courtyards, streets, landscape environment and human environment of the Dongguan District, so as to formulate protective methods as well as measures and explore development approaches.

Assessing Flexible Places for Adaptive Urban Design:A New Method and the Case of Cittaducale

Each place has its own peculiarities,determining that the resilience and adaptation to diverse types of risks will be different,requiring different time and methods for mitigation as well.The coexistence of several risks determines further resolution difficulties as commonly,since risks are sudden and unforeseen,there is a tendency to treat the last risk more carefully,neglecting the previous one even if it is just as important.Most of the methodologies used to analyse areas affected by different risks are aimed at focusing in particular on seismic risks without considering those relating to intangible aspects linked to the identity of the places or aspects related to urban health and liveability.And,more in general,in relation to design aspects,urban methodologies do not consider all the results of the analyses,maybe for the difficulty deriving from translating the complexity of collected data in project interventions.Starting from these premises,the objective of the article,elaborated within the SISMI and PRIN 2020 research projects is to propose an original methodology capable of analysing the places affected by multiple risks and planning its resilience attentive to its cultural resources and to its liveability.To this end,the proposed method will be aimed at creating flexible and adaptive places and the case-study of Cittaducale will be illustrated.Criticalities and qualities of this place affected by an earthquake in 2016 will be reported and project interventions to transform its risks into opportunities will be shown.

乡村文化振兴与环境设计研究--以乡村文化空间设计为视角

文化是乡村的精神传承,文化振兴是实现乡村振兴的灵魂所在。环境设计作为连接人与空间的桥梁,其对乡村文化振兴的作用不言而喻。本文旨在探究乡村文化振兴与环境设计之间的相互作用,并以乡村文化空间为例,分析乡村文化传承与发展,发挥环境设计的学科优势,充分探讨乡村文化振兴的价值意义。

中国特色城市新型公共文化空间的景观叙事

“新型公共文化空间”是我国公共文化服务迈向高质量发展的重要特征和发展趋势。自2021年文化和旅游部、国家发展改革委、财政部联合发布《关于推动公共文化服务高质量发展的意见》,提出“创新拓展城乡公共文化空间”以来,全国各地掀起了大范围的新型公共文化空间建设热潮。在建设取得突出成效的同时,新型公共文化空间也产生了趋同化、形式化、格式化、过度设计与设计不足等问题。从景观叙事视角探讨新型公共文化空间建设,提出从“本体向度”“时间向度”“空间向度”三重景观叙事向度建设中国特色城市新型公共文化空间,以期延展新型公共文化空间研究视角,促进新时代中国公共文化服务体系的现代化建设与高质量发展。

基于多尺度价值链接的城市遗产统筹保护与文化空间系统组构

基于人本价值视角,将遗产对象视为历史文化传承的场域空间,从城市与城区、片区与地段、建筑与场所三重空间尺度,提出城市遗产统筹保护与文化空间系统组构方法。以孤岛文化空间历史价值链接、历史文化空间当代价值链接、小微文化空间价值媒介链接3种价值链接机制为底层逻辑,建立城区遗产同源要素统筹、地段遗产文化生境统筹、建筑遗产价值媒介统筹3种要素统筹模式,以及城市文化空间网络建构、地段文化空间功能组织、建筑文化空间场景营造3种空间组构方案,以期突破传统遗产保护理论在遗产价值认知、价值链接和要素统筹方面的瓶颈,为我国城市遗产保护活化和价值传承实践提供参考。

文化空间理论视角下博物馆对城市旅游发展的影响研究:以北京为例

博物馆作为一种文化空间,在城市旅游发展中扮演重要角色。梳理现有文献可见,相关研究主要从博物馆与城市旅游资源、城市旅游空间、城市旅游公共服务等维度展开。本文基于文化空间理论,从聚集空间、符号空间、社会空间三个层面探讨博物馆作为文化空间的内涵,并提出博物馆对城市旅游发展的三重影响。具体包括:赋能城市旅游资源、产品和产业的显性影响,优化城市旅游空间结构、改善城市人文环境的隐性影响,完善旅游公共服务、塑造城市旅游形象的社会影响。在此基础上,以北京为例,验证了博物馆对城市旅游发展的影响及路径,并提出博物馆参观旅游体验化、博物馆资源文化资本化、博物馆空间场景化、博物馆布局科学化、博物馆公共服务共享化以及博物馆品牌标志化等建议。

基于多源数据的重庆中心城区绿地生态系统文化服务供需关系研究

快速城市化及城市扩张过程中,城市绿地生态系统文化服务(CES)供给与公众需求空间失衡问题日益凸显。如何有效识别城市绿地文化服务供需空间匹配特征是优化绿地空间布局、提升绿地服务效率的关键所在。本研究以重庆市中心城区为研究范围,基于地理空间数据等多源数据,运用GIS分析技术、空间相关性分析等方法,构建了城市绿地文化服务供需评价指标体系和分析框架,识别了山地城市绿地文化服务供给与居民需求的空间匹配类型。研究发现CES供给具明显的空间聚集性,全局莫兰指数为0.720,呈现为“大核—次核—小核”的分布形态,CES需求全局莫兰指数为0.834,呈现中心高外围低、西高东低的空间格局,双变量自相关分析显示供给与需求之间存在空间结构相似性,CES供需关系整体上较好,但一些关键区域匹配失衡压力较大。根据供需平衡关系特征,将研究区识别为六类空间类型,并对每种类型提出了CES优化提升路径。研究结果可为山地城市绿地生态系统文化服务优化路径提供理论支撑与实践借鉴。

美国费城公共艺术政策运行对中国公共艺术的启示

费城公共艺术政策实施至今,对其中运行实践的经验进行分析和总结,研究费城如何成功地将各种公共艺术类型纳入其城市结构,探讨费城的公共艺术政策对中国公共艺术的启发。从研究中发现,费城的公共艺术政策在促进文化活力和提高居民生活质量方面发挥了重要作用。基于费城公共艺术政策的发展,提取中国可以从中汲取的公共艺术启示,以加强自身的公共艺术多样性并促进城市发展,丰富社会内涵和人文精神,通过公共艺术连接公众与城市之间的情感,凝聚城市文化,凸显城市形象。

历史文化街区“数字+文创”更新设计研究——以苏州阊胥路创业园与仓街三官弄更新为例

历史文化街区存在现状复杂性、改造渐进性、功能不确定性等问题,其更新面临诸多挑战。城市更新设计需要兼顾文化传承与功能再生,以实现空间活力的修复。以往研究发现,数字技术和文化创意在复兴城市空间中具有协同促进作用。以苏州阊胥路创业园与仓街三官弄更新项目为例,应用设计研究方法,在历史文化街区保护与发展的语境下探索以“数字+文创”引导城市更新的相关设计策略,以及通过在地化的场所营造和创新场景设计,实现历史文化街区空间活力复兴的实施路径。通过对“数字+文创”设计策略的适应性、协同性与可实施性进行深入分析探讨,为同类型历史文化街区的控保地块更新提供参考。

基于文化区隔视角的城市文化消费政策社会效益实证研究——以南京市为例

城市文化消费政策面临公共投入增加而社会效益下降的问题,特别是在促进消费公平和扩大消费群体方面收效甚微。已有研究较少从文化消费的社会不均衡性以及文化消费机制角度讨论文化政策的社会效益。文章根据布尔迪厄实践理论和文化区隔理论构建城市政策与文化区隔相互作用的理论模型,研究城市文化消费政策对居民的文化区隔的增强或减缓作用以检验城市文化消费政策的社会效益。以南京市文化消费补贴政策为例,基于对南京市典型社区的居民问卷调查数据,进行对比分析和回归模型分析,结果显示南京市文化消费补贴政策加深了文化区隔。文化消费实践受惯习影响,南京市主要面向高雅文化的补贴政策,强化了高雅文化消费主体的消费实践,即促进原本文化杂食性较高的群体进行高雅文化消费,没能有效引导文化消费弱势群体参与高雅文化消费,未能显著改变这类群体文化杂食性低的状况。基于该研究结果,文章认为通过调节文化消费补贴的活动类型使之面向更广的文化受众有助于缓解文化区隔,扩大文化消费政策的受益面,促进文化消费的公平。

文化政策下西安历史风貌街区更新模式探讨

文化政策引领城市更新,作为旧城复兴的重要战略,其产生的空间重构与社会影响引发学者广泛关注,本文梳理了文化政策与旧城再生的互动关系,选择西安明城区的3个历史风貌街区作为研究对象,从空间重构、驱动机制及社会效应比较分析更新模式,剖析文化更新的内在逻辑.研究发现:①西安文化政策突出产业性、旅游性和商贸性,围绕历史文化资源开展改造更新、仿制更新、依附更新三种模式,差异化的空间重构与驱动力量;②文化政策更新具有政府主导空间秩序表征,国资企业落实政策意图与实施管理,空间通过商业功能置换居住功能实现重构的逻辑;③历史风貌街区被选择特定时期建筑风格进行切割和拼凑成“迪士尼化”主题街区,在符号体系下掩盖了地方性文化延续.

基于参与式地理信息系统的城市绿地生态系统文化服务评价——以北京市核心区为例

【目的】目前中国的城市建设发展模式已逐渐转变为注重提升城市文化软实力和城市精神的新模式。北京市核心区作为全国文化中心建设的核心承载区,评价其生态系统文化服务(cultural ecosystem services,CES)有助于促进城市绿地文化功能建设及体系完善,提升居民福祉。【方法】引入参与式地理信息系统(participatory geographic information system,PGIS),对被调查者感知到的文化功能、服务价值进行参与式互动制图,实现北京市核心区生态空间中CES感知点的空间落位,并进行空间分析。【结果】揭示了不同人群对CES的差异化感知、CES感知点的空间分布特征及各类CES之间的空间自相关性。【结论】为北京市核心区及其他区域城市绿地的更新优化提供参考意见,探索以文化为根基的城市创新发展之路。
