Research on Information Architecture Design of Short-Form Video Social Platforms Based on Cognitive Psychology

This study investigates how cognitive psychology principles can be integrated into the information architecture design of short-form video platforms,like TikTok,to enhance user experience,engagement,and sharing.Using a questionnaire,it explores TikTok users’habits and preferences,highlighting how social media fatigue(SMF)impacts their interaction with the platform.The paper offers strategies to optimize TikTok’s design.It suggests refining the organizational system using principles like chunking,schema theory,and working memory capacity.Additionally,it proposes incorporating shopping features within TikTok’s interface to personalize product suggestions and enable monetization for influencers and content creators.Furthermore,the study underlines the need to consider gender differences and user preferences in improving TikTok’s sharing features,recommending streamlined and customizable sharing options,collaborative sharing,and a system to acknowledge sharing milestones.Aiming to strengthen social connections and increase sharing likelihood,this research provides insights into enhancing information architecture for short-form video platforms,contributing to their growth and success.

A unitary caring science resilience-building model:Unifying the human caring theory and research-informed psychology and neuroscience evidence

Resilience is the psychological capability to recover from difficulties quickly.Healthcare professionals are especially vulnerable to job-related stress and burnout.Unitary Caring Science is the framework for Watson’s Human Caring Theory,providing a philosophy of practice in healthcare.With the high rates of clinician burnout and psychological issues,it will be significant to unify the human caring theory with research-informed psychological and neuroscience evidence to develop clinicians’resilience-building strategies.The purpose of this article is to introduce a Unitary Caring Science Resilience Model and explain the science behind the core strategies based on Unitary Caring Science philosophy and the psychological and neuroscience research.This model includes six strategies:Embracing loving-kindness for self and others;Nurturing interpersonal and intersubjective connections/relations;Deepening a creative use of self and sense of belonging;Balancing self-learning,self-awareness,and an evolved selfconsciousness;Valuing forgiveness and releasing negativity;Inspiring and maintaining faith-hope.The caring-theory guided resilience-building strategies are proven to alleviate the depletion of clinicians’energy and emotions.Healthcare practices are challenging but rewarding.Clinicians can be emotionally,psychologically,and physically exhausted if they always consider themselves‘giving’and‘doing’institutional tasks without a sense of purpose or fulfillment.The practice can be rewarding if it becomes more aligned with clinicians’value to serve humanity.Through the unitary caring science resilience strategies,clinicians can build resilience as an antidote to clinician burnout and depletion.

Designing interactive glazing through an engineering psychology approach:Six augmented reality scenarios that envision future car human-machine interface

Background With an increasing number of vehicles becoming autonomous,intelligent,and connected,paying attention to the future usage of car human-machine interface with these vehicles should become more relevant.Several studies have addressed car HMI but were less attentive to designing and implementing interactive glazing for every day(autonomous)driving contexts.Methods Reflecting on the literature,we describe an engineering psychology practice and the design of six novel future user scenarios,which envision the application of a specific set of augmented reality(AR)support user interactions.Additionally,we conduct evaluations on specific scenarios and experiential prototypes,which reveal that these AR scenarios aid the target user groups in experiencing a new type of interaction.The overall evaluation is positive with valuable assessment results and suggestions.Conclusions This study can interest applied psychology educators who aspire to teach how AR can be operationalized in a human-centered design process to students with minimal pre-existing expertise or minimal scientific knowledge in engineering psychology.

Discussion on Influence of Creative Thinking in Levi's Advertising Design on Audience's Psychology

World War I had brought great pain to people, old beliefs had been lost and new beliefs were badly-needed. On the road to discover new beliefs, therefore, the surrealism originated from so-called "surreal" and "super-reasonable" dreams became an attempt. As a leading brand of fashion and jeans, with its distinctive symbolic meaning Levi's is a typical symbol of American clothing. Much spiritual, cultural and artistic temperament was given to Levi as time changes, and Levi became a symbol of personality and rebellion ever since. This paper analyzed how designers of Levi applied the realism thinking in advertising design,and gave uniqueness and attraction to Levi's advertisement, based on which, the paper conducted a comprehensive theoretical research on Levi's design.

Customization Product Design Based on User's Emotion and Needs

The paper presents a design method that ensures the ingenuity of the product form as well as the whole and exact expression of user’s needs. The key idea is to establish an automatic design system which can transform the user’s language needs into the product features in real-time. A rifle was taken as a research instance and soldiers were chosen as evaluation customers. The theory of fuzzy set and semantic difference are adopted to evaluate the relationship between user’s needs and product features as well as their alternatives. FAHP (fuzzy analytic hierarchy process) is utilized to judge the user’s satisfactory forms. This method can also be applied to other product form designs.

Use of methotrexate in inflammatory bowel disease in 2014: A User's Guide

Methotrexate has been used an immunomodulator in many autoimmune diseases,including inflammatory bowel disease. However,many physicians are unfamiliar or uncomfortable with its use in the management of inflammatory bowel disease. We summarize the data for use of methotrexate in common clinical scenarios:(1) steroid dependant Crohn's disease(CD);(2) maintenance of remission in steroid free CD;(3) azathioprine failures in CD;(4) in combination therapy with Anti-TNF agents in CD;(5) decreasing antibody formation to Anti-TNF therapy in CD;(6) management of fistulizing disease in CD; and(7) as well as induction and maintenance of remission in ulcerative colitis. An easy to use algorithm is provided for the busy clinician to access and safely prescribe methotrexate for their inflammatory bowel disease patients.

Frequent Itemset Mining of User’s Multi-Attribute under Local Differential Privacy

Frequent itemset mining is an essential problem in data mining and plays a key role in many data mining applications.However,users’personal privacy will be leaked in the mining process.In recent years,application of local differential privacy protection models to mine frequent itemsets is a relatively reliable and secure protection method.Local differential privacy means that users first perturb the original data and then send these data to the aggregator,preventing the aggregator from revealing the user’s private information.We propose a novel framework that implements frequent itemset mining under local differential privacy and is applicable to user’s multi-attribute.The main technique has bitmap encoding for converting the user’s original data into a binary string.It also includes how to choose the best perturbation algorithm for varying user attributes,and uses the frequent pattern tree(FP-tree)algorithm to mine frequent itemsets.Finally,we incorporate the threshold random response(TRR)algorithm in the framework and compare it with the existing algorithms,and demonstrate that the TRR algorithm has higher accuracy for mining frequent itemsets.

Psychological Factors Are Closely Associated with the Bell's Palsy: A Case-control Study

To observe the differences in psychological status between Bell’s palsy (BP) patients and healthy subjects, and to examine the relationship between psychological factors and the severity of BP, we conducted a case-control, multi-center clinical investigation. A total of 695 subjects were assigned to the case group (n=355) and the control group (n=340). House–Brackmann grading system and Facial Disability Index (FDI) were adopted to assess the BP patients; Kessler Psychological Distress Scale (K10) and 16 Personality Factor (16PF) scale were employed to evaluate the psychological distress and personality profiles of all subjects. Two independent samples t test was used to compare the differences between cases and controls, and to compare the differences among different BP patients. Pearson correlation analysis was used to examine the relationship between psychological factors and severity of facial paralysis. The results showed that psychological distress (K10) in case group (27.09±5.80) was significantly higher than that in control group (13.43±3.02) (t=–37.219, P=0.000). The scores of personality factor Warmth (A), Openness to Change (Q1), Self-Reliance (Q2) were lower in cases than in the controls (P<0.01, P<0.05, P<0.05, respectively), whereas the scores of Sensitivity (I), Vigilance (L), Apprehension (O), and Tension (Q4) were significantly higher in cases than in the controls (P<0.05, P<0.01, P<0.01, P<0.01, respectively). In addition, the psychological distress was significantly higher in female patients, severe (HB score Ⅳ–Ⅵ) patients, and subacute (onset time 72–168 h) patients compared with that in male patients, mild (HB score Ⅰ–Ⅲ)patients, and acute (onset time≤72 h) patients (P<0.05). The scores of personality factor in female patients, severe patients, and subacute patients were also significantly different from male patients, mild patients, and acute patients (P<0.05). The result of Pearson correlation analysis showed that psychological factors (K10, personality A, F, L, N, O, Q4) were closely related to HB scores. We are led to conclude that the psychological status between BP patients and healthy people are different; psychological distress and personality factors are closely associated with severity of facial paralysis.

User’s Relevance of PIR System Based on Cloud Models

A new method to evaluate fuzzily user＇s relevance on the basis of cloud models has been proposed. All factors of personalized information retrieval system are taken into account in this method. So using this method for personalized information retrieval （PIR） system can efficiently judge multi-value relevance, such as quite relevant, comparatively relevant, commonly relevant, basically relevant and completely non-relevant, and realize a kind of transform of qualitative concepts and quantity and improve accuracy of relevance judgements in PIR system. Experimental data showed that the method is practical and valid. Evaluation results are more accurate and approach to the fact better.

The Efficacy and Safety of Yokukansankachimpihange for Treating Behavioral and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia in Patients with Alzheimer’s Disease: An Open-Label Pilot Study

Previous clinical trials have demonstrated the efficacy of yokukansan, a traditional Japanese medicine, for the treatment of behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD). However, less evidence is available for the treatment of BPSD with yokukansankachimpihange (YKSCH), which consists of yokukansan and two additional herbal ingredients. The present study was conducted to investigate the efficacy and safety of YKSCH for treating BPSD in patients with Alzheimer’s disease (AD). We enrolled outpatients with mild-to-moderate AD who exhibited BPSD and obtained a Neuropsychiatric Inventory (NPI) score of >3 including subscale scores for “agitation”, “anxiety”, “irritability”, and “sleep and night-time behavior change”. A daily YKSCH dose of 7.5 g was administered for 12 weeks with concomitant administration of anti-dementia medication. BPSD was evaluated using the NPI at baseline and every 4 weeks during the intervention. We also examined apathy using the Japanese translation of the Apathy Scale, the short version of the Japanese version of the Zarit Caregiver Burden Interview, and the Modified Crichton Rating Scale for Predicting Activities of Daily Living. Cognitive dysfunction was evaluated using the Mini Mental State Examination and the AD Assessment Scale-Cognitive (Japanese version). Five participants were enrolled. The NPI total score tended to decrease between the baseline and 8-week evaluations during the YKSCH intervention (Wilcoxon signed rank test, P = 0.063). In terms of the NPI subscale scores, “apathy”, “agitation”, “delusions”, and “sleep and night-time behavior change” decreased after the intervention in those who exhibited each symptom at baseline. There were no significant differences in the other scores examined. No serious adverse events were observed. YKSCH could ameliorate BPSD in patients with mild-to-moderate AD with agitation, anxiety, irritability, and sleep and night-time behavior change, and it was well-tolerated.

Nursing, Psychological Intervention and Self-Management after Deep Brain Stimulation in Parkinson’s Disease

Parkinson’s disease (PD) is a neurodegenerative disease mainly caused by motor disorders, mostly occurring in middle-aged and elderly people. The incidence of PD has been increasing year by year, and up to now, PD is still an incurable disease. However, more and more data show that early implementation of deep brain stimulation and early medical, psychological, social and other interventions can significantly improve the quality of life and prolong the survival time of patients with Parkinson’s disease (PD). Mental health guidance, cognitive behavioral intervention, psychogenic therapy and scientific nursing for PD patients may improve the functional recovery after Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) for Parkinson’s disease. This paper discusses the nursing and psychological intervention methods of deep brain stimulation (DBS) implantation in patients with Parkinson’s disease (PD), aiming to scientifically discuss the clinical effect of nursing psychological intervention and improve the quality of life in patients with Parkinson’s disease. Basic nursing and psychological cognitive behavior intervention measures for PD patients can improve the daily activity ability of PD patients, improve the outcome of PD patients, and effectively improve the satisfaction of PD patients with nursing work, which has certain clinical promotion significance.

The Relevance of Vygotsky＇s Developmental Perspective to the Debate on Methodology in Psychological Science

Throughout his work, Lev S. Vygotsky （1896-1934） pursued the objective of reformulating psychological theory. His historical-cultural analysis of the ＂crisis in psychology＂ showed that, beyond contradictions between the two main methodological currents---＂objective/explanatory＂ and ＂subjective/intuitive＂--psychology is primarily influenced by its empirical-sensory foundations. This influence is actually at the origin of the disagreement since it maintains the obligation for the two currents to make reference to empirical-sensory data. Only a general model of the developing human being, assessed by its usefulness, will allow reorienting psychology towards a broader science. This would lead to a general theory of psychology, which could then facilitate the search for tools for an indirect method enabling it to go beyond empiricism.

A Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation Solution Based on User Behavior and Software Defined EPS

For telecommunication operators, how to improve the utilization of bandwidth resources is always a problem which worthy of study, nowadays, this issue has become more and more important, since the traffic load bursting in the mobile Internet. So the key to solving this problem is that we need to find a kind of traffic model to predict the traffic load that users need. According to the predicted traffic load to allocate bandwidth to each base station dynamically.But the traffic consumption behavior of a single base station is random, it is difficult to predict[ 1 ]. For this reason, we based on reality that, when the user moves, it may get traffic load from different base stations, therefore, there will have some kind of relationship between those base stations.We use this relationship to establish a kind of Spatial Collaborative Network.consequently, we make use of stability algorithm to divided those base station cluster into different communities, According to the traffic load usage rules which these communities indicated to us, we get a traffic model.At the same time, we studied bow to use this traffic model in the future networks to dynamically allocate bandwidth resources, then we propose a new kind of EPS architecture based on SDN, on this platform, we can deploy our strategy through it＇s programmable interface.Finally, we designed an experiment to test the performance of our dynamic strategy, and the result shows that our method enables bandwidth utilization has been greatly improved.

Influence of Blocking-Stressors on Post-90s Employees’ Occupational Mobility: The Chain Mediating Effect of Psychological Contracts and Negative Emotion

To clarify the mechanism of blocking-stressors,psychological contracts,and negative emotions on post-90s employees’occupational mobility,based on the literature study,a hypothetical model of the relationship was established.Using the blocking-stressor,psychological contract,negative emotion,and occupational mobility scales,317 post-90s employees were selected to investigate their status.It used correlation analysis and intermedi-ary effect tests to verify the hypothesis model.The results showed that:first,there were significant positive cor-relations between blocking-stressors,negative emotions,and occupational mobility,while indicating a significant negative correlation with the psychological contract;second,blocking-stressors can directly and significantly pre-dict occupational mobility;and third,blocking-stressors can indirectly affect occupational mobility through the mediating role of negative emotions and the chain-mediating role of psychological contracts and negative emo-tions.The effective intervention of blocking-stressors,psychological contracts,and negative emotions can reduce the rate of occupational mobility and provide some guidance for enterprises in making rational use of human resources.

Group Psychological Intervention for Children with Hyperactivity Disorder

ADHD is a broad psychiatric disorder that affects children of normal or near-normal intelligence.It is character-ized by inattention,hyperactivity,and age-inappropriate impulsivity,and it is often accompanied by learning dif-ficulties,behavioral,emotional,and interpersonal problems.On the other hand,hyperactive tendencies in children with ADHD exhibit ADHD-like behaviors such as lack of self-control,inattention,hyperactivity,and emotional impulsivity.However,because their symptoms are less severe,they do not meet the diagnostic criteria for ADHD but are ADHD or at risk of developing ADHD.The purpose of this study is to alleviate and reduce children’s hyperactivity symptoms by investigating the current situation of the children studied,and systemati-cally intervening and educating children with ADHD through psychological group intervention.Research data shows that ADHD is most commonly diagnosed in school-age children,and in 70%–80%of children with ADHD,symptoms persist into adolescence and 30%into adulthood.Through the use of group psychological intervention in the experiment,the prevalence rate of children with hyperactivity disorder tendency has been effectively reduced.This shows that group psychological intervention training has a significant effect on improving hyper-activity symptoms in children with ADHD tendency.

An Analysis of Power Desire of Iago in Shakespeare＇s Othello From Psychological Perspectives

This study aims to investigate how powerful desires controlling and influence the play＇s characters. In particularly Iago＇s Power is probably the most important motive. Iago employed to manipulate Othello. It is clearly seen that Iago thrived in power because he loves manipulating people so that they do what he says. Othello indicates the power of desires, love and jealousy. The purpose of this study is to obtain a deeper understanding and analyze the character＇s power and how Shakespeare used Iago＇s power desires？ To cause the tragic downfall Othello by using the psychological approaches. Shakespeare＇s tragedies＇ characters motivated by the power desires. Shakespeare shows that the human need, feelings, emotions and passions or desires may lead their owners to be mad if they surrender to them to go beyond the limits. This paper looks how Shakespeare shows the humanism by describing Iago＇s desires in his play, Othello the most notable tragedies.

Method of Consistency Judgment for App Software’s User Comments

With the popularity of mobile intelligent terminal, user comments of App software is viewed as one of the research interests of social computing. Faced with the massive App software, most users usually view the other users’ comments and marks to selecting the desired App software. Due to the freedom and randomness of the network comments, the inconsistence between the user’s comment and mark makes it difficult to choose App software. This paper presents a method by analyzing the relationships among user’s comment information, the user’s mark and App software information. Firstly, the consistency between user’s comment information and App software information is judged. Then, through analyzing the grammar relationships among the feature-words, adverbs and the feature-sentiment-words in App software’s feature-sentimentword- pairs, the user’s emotional tendency about App software is quantified quantified combining with the dictionary and the network sentiment words. After calculating the user’s comprehensive score of App software, the consistency of App software’s user comment is judged by comparing this score and the user’s mark. Finally, the experimental results show that the method is effective.
