This study used both the “digital divide” and “attribution theory” to analyze the propensity of social media use by disaster-prone communities. The study focused on the variables that may affect how social media is used for disaster management. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was utilized in the study to analyze the data and test the hypotheses after using a survey questionnaire to collect the data. The study’s findings show that: 1) communities that are vulnerable to disasters are less likely to use social media for disaster management, 2) personal effort and intention to use social media for disaster management are positively correlated, and 3) task complexity and intention to use social media for disaster management are negatively correlated. The study added to the body of knowledge regarding the role social media plays in disaster management. 展开更多

Acceptance to Use Daily Oral Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) as an HIV Prevention Method and Ability to Pay for PrEP among Men Who Have Sex with Men in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Background: Men who have sex with men (MSM) are disproportionately affected by HIV in Vietnam. Regardless of international and national agencies’ efforts, the HIV epidemic in MSM has been increasing in recent years. Novel and evidence-based HIV antiretroviral pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) maybe needed to combat the HIV epidemic among this population in Vietnam. This study aims to identify how MSM accept the use of PrEP as an HIV prevention method and their ability to pay for it. Method: This is a cross-sectional study of 373 MSM seeking HIV testing in a community-based HIV clinic in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam from January to April 2016. Potential participants were briefly informed about ethical considerations, screened for eligibility, and signed an informed consent form when selected. Face-to-face interviews were conducted by the clinic’s staff. Descriptive and analytical analysis was performed by STATA 13.0. Results: Of 373 participants, only 92 men (24.7%) reported having known about PrEP. Out of 360 men who were questioned about their acceptance of PrEP as an HIV prevention method, 274 (76.1%) embraced the use of PrEP. The median maximum affordable monthly PrEP cost was one million Vietnam Dong (VND) (equivalent to US$43) and the median average affordable monthly PrEP cost was 0.5 million VND (approximately $21.7). The majority of men (68.8%) could afford an average of less than $43 a month for PrEP. Conclusion: There is a relatively high level of PrEP acceptance among MSM in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. To increase PrEP acceptance, raising awareness and understanding of PrEP is recommended. To expand PrEP interventions in Vietnam, the target population’s ability to pay should be a key focus. 展开更多

Research on Relationship between Recovery Ability after Drought Stress-rewatering and Water Use Efficiency of Winter Wheat Varieties

The study aims at exploring the possibility of using the recovery ability af- ter drought stress-rewatering at vegetative growth stage as the evaluating index in water use efficiency (WUE) of winter wheat varieties. 'Jing 411 ', 'Jinmai 47' and their 34 near isogenic lines (NILs) were used as test materials. Semi-automatic rainproof shelter and the percolating pools were used for simulating drought treat- ment. After suffering severe drought stress, winter wheat crops were rewatered at early jointing stage. The biomass accumulation after rewatering was determined as recovery ability index. In the meanwhile, plant height in the end of vegetative growth stage was measured, and WUE of varieties/lines was also determined. Thereafter, the differences in recovery ability, plant height and the population WUE, together with the correlation between recovery ability and population WUE were analyzed, respectively. The results showed that there were significant differences in recovery ability among some varieties/lines. The recovery ability was affected by both geno- type and environment, and the interaction existed in these two factors. Significant differences existed in plant height and population WUE among the 34 NILs along with their parents. There was a significantly positive correlation between recovery ability and plant height of varieties/lines. Recovery ability and plant height were very significantly and positively correlated with population yield WUE respectively. The re- sults indicated that recovery ability after drought stress-rewatering could be used as an evaluating index of population WUE under drought condition. 展开更多

To study the mechanism of plant K use efficiency, both K high and low use efficiency cotton genotypes, 103 and 122, respectively, were selected from 86 cotton cultivars (Gossypium hirsutum L.). The research was conducted using pot experiment for planting cotton on without K (0.0 g kg-1 soil) and with K (0.4 g kg-1 soil) treatments in 2005. Experimental result showed that, with K deficiency stress, genotype 103 grew much better than genotype 122 except that its lower leaves showed the symptoms of K deficiency, whereas all the leaves of genotype 122 showed the symptoms of K deficiency. Root dry matter weights of treatments for genotype 103 with and without K application were 1.07 and 1.25 times of genotype 122. It indicated that the root system of genotype 103 was well developed and has better nutrition uptake capability than that of genotype 122. The result also showed that the cotton shoots of genotype 103 were 1.07 and 1.13 times over genotype 122 on treatments of with and without K application. It indicated that genotype 103 has stronger transport organs. In genotype 103, plants, dry matter, and potassium were mainly transported to cotton bolls. The boll dry weight of genotype 103 was 2.58 times in without K treatment and 1.90 times in with K treatment over genotype 122. The potassium accumulation in bolls of genotype 122 was only 49.3% of that in genotype 103. Potassium accumulation in the other organs of genotype 103 was relatively low compared with in bolls. This indicated that the distribution of K and organic matter in genotype 103 was more efficient than genotype 122. The main differences between high K efficiency cotton genotype 103 and low K efficiency genotype 122 lie in their potassium nutrition and organic matter using efficiency on uptake, transportation, accumulation, distribution, and utilization. 展开更多

为了筛选出扦插生根能力较强的传统秋菊(Chrysanthemum morifolium Ramat.)品种,对39个传统秋菊品种扦插12 d的8个根系形态指标进行差异分析、相关性分析和主成分分析,并对这些传统秋菊品种的扦插生根能力进行隶属函数分析和分级。结果... 为了筛选出扦插生根能力较强的传统秋菊(Chrysanthemum morifolium Ramat.)品种,对39个传统秋菊品种扦插12 d的8个根系形态指标进行差异分析、相关性分析和主成分分析,并对这些传统秋菊品种的扦插生根能力进行隶属函数分析和分级。结果显示:供试传统秋菊品种的总根数为3.3~44.0,总根长、平均根长和最长根长分别为2.463~129.174、0.632~4.470和1.610~7.964 cm,根直径为0.200~0.405 mm,根投影面积和根表面积分别为0.102~3.062和0.319~9.619 cm 2,总根体积为0.002~0.079 cm 3,且多数指标以‘火凤凰’(‘Huofenghuang’)最小。这些根系形态指标的变异系数为15.789%~51.605%,其中,总根长的变异系数最大,根直径的变异系数最小,其余指标的变异系数均大于32%。供试传统秋菊品种的多数根系形态指标间存在显著(P<0.05)或极显著(P<0.01)正相关。主成分分析结果显示:前3个主成分的累计贡献率达97.976%。隶属函数分析和分级结果表明:供试传统秋菊品种的扦插生根能力分为优秀、良好、中等和偏差4个等级,‘龙都春丽’(‘Longdu Chunli’)、‘玉楼人醉’(‘Yulou Renzui’)、‘龙都月华’(‘Longdu Yuehua’)、‘圣光华宝’(‘Shengguang Huabao’)、‘龙都秋枫’(‘Longdu Qiufeng’)、‘龙都春晓’(‘Longdu Chunxiao’)的扦插生根能力优秀,综合得分均大于0.70。根投影面积、根表面积和总根体积在不同等级间差异显著。研究结果显示:不同传统秋菊品种间扦插苗的根系形态指标变异较大,其中,‘龙都春丽’等6个品种的扦插生根能力较强,可作为传统秋菊品种遗传改良的亲本。 展开更多

It also plays an important role in implementing the national independent innovative strategy. How-ever, most of the high-tech industrial zones have many problems in their development process, such as efficiency of land use, weakness of oriented function and lack of land intensive. To solve these problems, the authors of this paper introduced the concept of land use performance and established the theoretical model to assess the land use performance of high-tech industrial zones. The model consists of the following three-dimensional parts: land use benefit, land use efficiency and innovative function. Based on this theory model, an index system which was composed of three secondary indictors, eight tertiary indictors and 37 fourth-grade indictors was set up to evaluate the land use performance of high-tech zone. To avoid the defects of plus model and function model, the authors brought out a three-dimensional evaluation model to examine the index of the land use performance of the high-tech industrial parks, which equals to the evaluation indicator system of land use performance of high-tech zone based on the above research. The authors examined the land use performance of five different high-tech industrial parks in Haidian District, Beijing City. The results indicated that the indicator system per-forms better in the aspect of evaluating land use benefit, land use efficiency and function of the high-tech industrial zone compared with other models. 展开更多

Augmenting the Heat Sink for Better Heat Dissipation

Heat sinks were invented to absorb heat from an electronic circuit conduct, and then to dissipate or radiate this heat to the surrounding supposedly, ventilated space, at a rate equal to or faster than that of its buildup. Ventilation was not initially recognized as an essential factor to thermal dispersion. However, as electronic circuit-boards continued to heat up, circuit failure became a problem, forcing the inclusion of miniaturized high speed fans. Later, heat sinks with fins and quiet fans were incorporated in most manufactured circuits. Now heat sinks come in the form of a fan with fans made to function as fins to disperse heat. Heat sinks absorb and radiate excess heat from circuit-boards in order to prolong the circuit’s life span. The higher the thermal conductivity of the material used the more efficient and effective the heat sink is. This paper is an attempt to theoretically design a heat sink with a temperature gradient lower than that of the circuit board’s excess heat. 展开更多

通过对15家企业220名企业员工的问卷调研,立足于场理论、原型理论和领导—成员交换关系理论,构建了分别以下属义务感和下属依赖为中介变量的两条路径,深入探讨了领导品格优势对下属工作投入的影响机制,并验证了领导能力在这一关系中的... 通过对15家企业220名企业员工的问卷调研,立足于场理论、原型理论和领导—成员交换关系理论,构建了分别以下属义务感和下属依赖为中介变量的两条路径,深入探讨了领导品格优势对下属工作投入的影响机制,并验证了领导能力在这一关系中的调节作用。研究结果表明:领导品格优势通过正向影响下属义务感,提高下属义务感增加下属的工作投入,通过负向影响下属依赖,削弱下属依赖增加工作投入。领导能力在领导品格优势对下属义务感和下属依赖的影响中均起到正向调节作用。本研究有利于企业在甄选领导者时充分考察其品格优势和能力,有利于领导在管理下属时提高下属义务感、防范下属依赖心理,从而最终提升下属工作投入。 展开更多

以陕西汉中地区3种主栽柑橘泛亚特早、兴津、日南1号为试材,对离体叶片进行-5℃低温处理3 h、6 h、9 h、12 h后分析与耐寒性相关的生理响应,并通过主成分分析法评价各个测定指标的贡献率。结果显示:随着低温胁迫的持续,3种柑橘离体叶片... 以陕西汉中地区3种主栽柑橘泛亚特早、兴津、日南1号为试材,对离体叶片进行-5℃低温处理3 h、6 h、9 h、12 h后分析与耐寒性相关的生理响应,并通过主成分分析法评价各个测定指标的贡献率。结果显示:随着低温胁迫的持续,3种柑橘离体叶片相对电导率(REC)均呈现逐渐升高趋势,出现显著性升高的先后顺序依次为泛亚特早、兴津、日南1号;3种柑橘叶片中MDA和H2O2含量均呈逐渐增加的趋势,兴津和日南1号叶片中O2·—含量均呈先升高后降低的趋势,而泛亚特早则处于持续升高趋势,处理末期(12 h)各品种MDA、H2O2和O2·—含量高低次序表现为泛亚特早>兴津>日南1号。随着低温胁迫的持续,3种叶片脯氨酸含量变化表现出先升高后降低的趋势,可溶性糖含量则表现出逐渐升高的趋势,与泛亚特早和兴津相比,日南1号渗透调节物质含量升高的时间更早、幅度更大。随着低温胁迫持续,泛亚特早和兴津叶片中的保护酶SOD、CAT、POD和APX活性均表现出先升高后降低的明显趋势,而日南1号叶片中的SOD和APX活性则几乎呈现出持续升高的趋势,CAT和POD活性均表现出先升高后又降低趋势。隶属函数法综合抗寒性评价表明,3种柑橘抗寒能力大小依次为日南1号最强,兴津次之,泛亚特早最弱。REC和脯氨酸含量综合指标的累积贡献率为97.186%,具有较强的代表性,可作为柑橘抗寒性分析的重要指标。在低温胁迫持续胁迫过程中,日南1号离体叶片渗透调节能力和抗氧化酶活性更强,细胞膜受到的过氧化伤害较小,从而表现出较强抗寒能力。 展开更多

以5个观赏海棠品种王族、道格、粉手帕、粉屋顶和亚当为试材,在持续自然干旱条件下,运用隶属函数法,综合比较其抗旱性强弱。结果表明:干旱胁迫下,5个海棠品种的抗脱水能力由强到弱为:王族>粉手帕>道格>粉屋顶>亚当。亚当和... 以5个观赏海棠品种王族、道格、粉手帕、粉屋顶和亚当为试材,在持续自然干旱条件下,运用隶属函数法,综合比较其抗旱性强弱。结果表明:干旱胁迫下,5个海棠品种的抗脱水能力由强到弱为:王族>粉手帕>道格>粉屋顶>亚当。亚当和粉手帕的叶绿素含量下降幅度最小;其次是王族;道格和粉屋顶的下降幅度最大。王族和亚当的游离脯氨酸积累最多,道格和粉屋顶游离脯氨酸积累次之,粉手帕积累最少;而粉屋顶和亚当的可溶性蛋白积累最多,显著高于道格、王族和粉手帕;道格和粉手帕的可溶性糖积累最多,粉屋顶最少。道格的丙二醛积累最高,王族、粉手帕和粉屋顶次之,亚当积累最少。超氧化物歧化酶活性表现为:亚当>粉屋顶>王族>道格>粉手帕;过氧化物酶活性表现为:王族>粉手帕>粉屋顶>道格>亚当;王族和亚当的过氧化氢酶活性均显著高于其他品种。隶属函数法综合评价结果表明,王族的抗旱能力最强,粉手帕、粉屋顶和亚当次之,道格最弱。 展开更多
