Robust PolInSAR optimal interferogram estimation method based on generalized scattering vector

For the polarimetric synthetic aperture radar interferometry (PoIInSAR) processing, it is necessary to coregister all the images, including the coregistration of polarimetric SAR images and the coregistration of interferometric SAR images. Otherwise, the performance of the estimated optimal interferograms will be deteriorated. A generalized scattering vector (GSV) model is proposed to execute the PoIInSAR optimal interferograms estimation. The generalized scattering vector is constructed by the Pauli scattering vectors of the processing pixel and the surrounding pixels. Even though there are coregistration errors, all the polarimetric information of the current processing pixel is entirely included in the generalized scattering vector. Therefore, the GSV-based method can automatically recover the optimal scattering mechanisms of the processing pixel with coregistration errors either in interferoemetric channels or polarimetric channels. Theoretical analysis and processing results of simulated PoISARPro data and real PALSAR data validate the effectiveness and correctness of the proposed method. 展开更多

We calculate and analyze the scattering near the field from some simple and complex targets using the method of picture elements (PEL), based upon the method of high-frequency approximation. It introduces the critical distance of the near field and the far field which is related with the dimension of the target. The problem of the EMS near field from large size objects can be transformed to the problem of the far field by parting it to many very small size elements. By calculating the EMS near fields of some simple and complex targets based on the SCTE (scattering from complex targets and environments) system, the results show that there are much difference between the near field and the far field. And the characteristics of the near field are more complicated. This work has practical engineering value in the area of the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), electromagnetic interference (EMI) prediction and electromagnetic scattering (EMS). 展开更多

Vector boson scattering at the Large Hadron Collider(LHC)is sensitive to anomalous quartic gauge couplings(aQGCs).In this study,we investigate the aQGC contribution to Wγjj production at the LHC with√s=13 TeV in the context of an effective field theory(EFT).The unitarity bound is applied as a cut on the energy scale of this production process,which is found to have significant suppressive effects on signals.To enhance the statistical significance,we analyze the kinematic and polarization features of the aQGC signals in detail.We find that the polarization effects induced by aQGCs are unique and can discriminate the signals from the SM backgrounds well.With the proposed event selection strategy,we obtain the constraints on the coefficients of dimension-8 operators with current luminosity.The results indicate that the process pp→Wγjj is powerful for searching for the OM2,3,4,5 and OT5,6,7 operators. 展开更多
