Design of Pastoral Cultural Landscape Oriented by the Concept of Ecology Villages

China is increasingly attaching importance to coordination and scientific development between humanist and economic constructions, especially for protection on rural pastoral cultural landscape. For eco-village theory, planning and construction of pastoral culture landscape is just a breakthrough. The research used modern landscaping technology and analyzed pastoral landscape culture, facilitating transformation of agricultural production pattern and ushering in a new trend in terms of retaining rural cultural landscapes with Chinese characteristics and inheriting and innovating rural culture.

Cultural Landscape Evolution of Traditional Agricultural Villages in North China——Case of Qianzhai Village in Shandong Province

Agricultural village is an important rural type in China. The evolution process and mechanism of its cultural landscape are different from those of the industrialized village. The paper focuses this theme by a case study of Qianzhai Village of Qufu City, Shangdong Province. In the case of Qianzhai Village, the evolution of its settlement has experienced three stages: mechanical expansion, sprawling expansion and hollowing, and recentralization. The land- scape evolution of residents' houses has undergone three phases: traditional quadrangle house, one-storied house and multistoried house. The evolution of its land use has experienced three stages: circled stratification, fragment and intensive use, and concentration and extensive use. We can see that the main driving factors of cultural landscape evolu- tion of agricultural village are the changes of rural population, society, economy and culture, which are influenced by the change of urban-rural relation, the national modernization process and economic development, the reform of family planning and land system, and the changes in governmental policies. In the future, the modernization, ecological trend, and individualization for residents' houses of agricultural villages in China will develop step by step. The recentralization of settlement and the scaled, sustainable, intensive land use are likely to be the trends of agricultural villages in China.

Research on the Campus Cultural Landscape of the Tibetan-Yi Corridor:Taking the Middle and Primary Schools in Meigu County of Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture as an Example

In view of rural revitalization,the Meigu area,as a key region of the Tibetan-Yi Corridor,faces challenges in educational development and the construction of campus cultural landscapes.Campus landscape culture,as the foundation of campus culture,is one of the important factors affecting the quality of campus education.Integrating traditional cultural elements such as Yi patterns and totems into the design can effectively enhance the aesthetic of the campus,promote the local ethnic characteristic culture,and inject new vitality into rural revitalization.Therefore,this paper applies traditional Yi cultural elements to the design of campus cultural landscapes.This is of great significance for improving the rural school environment and enhancing students’enthusiasm for learning and cultural identity.Besides,it provides an alternative for the preservation and development of local culture.

Study on the Inheritance of Landscape Culture in Traditional Ancient Villages of Jiangxi: A Case Study of Ancient Liukeng Village in Lean County, Jiangxi Province

Traditional ancient village is a miniature of history, embodies landscape cultures with rich connotations. On the basis of introducing basic conditions of ancient Liukeng Village, this paper explored landscape cultural elements in the village from such perspectives of natural landscape, architecture, clan system, and Fengshui, and proposed the pertinent approaches of landscape culture inheritance respectively, namely, "integrated protection", "hierarchical protection", "live inheritance" and "rationally accepting and rejecting", by adhering to such principles as keeping natural originality, integrality, humanistic ecology, and dynamic openness.

Research Progress of Water Environment Protection in Historical and Cultural Towns and Villages

This study reviews research papers on the protection of water environment in historical and cultural towns and villages,summarizes present research tendencies from the perspectives of definition,classification and selection of water environment in historical and cultural towns and villages,influence of water environment on these towns and villages,proposes suggestions for improvement,and concludes characteristics and deficiencies of these researches,in order to provide references for future water environment protection in similar sites.

Study on Methods of Evaluating Visual Landscapes in Historic and Cultural Districts

This paper with the purpose of protecting visual landscape environment in historical and cultural districts,analyzes categories and characteristics of historical and cultural districts from the perspective of visual landscape,finally with the assessment basis of "landscape picture" proposes the classification of areas of 5 different levels,that is,the optimal viewing gallery,the secondary viewing gallery,the optimal viewing surface,the secondary viewing surface,and the common viewing surface,explores an approach of evaluating pollution indexes in historic and cultural districts by comprehensively evaluating "landscape pictures" in those areas of different levels.

Redevelopment Strategies of Tourism Landscape Resources in Ancient Villages of Southern Anhui Province

The ancient villages in southern Anhui Province are the cradle of Hsin-an Culture, where natural and cultural resources form the distinctive tourism resources. The paper elaborates the kinds of tourism landscape resources in ancient villages in southern Anhui, analyzes the existing problems during the current development process, suggests the principles of redevelopment and the reconstruction form of tourism products and finally attempts to discuss its future development models.

Reflection on Designing of Ecological Landscape at Northern Villages

Aiming at a series of existing problems of ecological landscape in farmland and in residential district at northern villages,and problems like low recovery rate of wastes,uncertain evaluation index of ecological landscape,managers' low consciousnesses and insufficient organization and management at northern villages;the corresponding planning suggestions were proposed.Scientific farming,developing ecological agriculture and perfecting ecological corridor system were of great significance to ecological landscape of farmland.Reasonable ecological construction,fully utilizing renewable energy sources,overall planning,improving land utilization rate and highlighting regional characteristic of ecological landscape were of great significance to ecological landscape of residential district.Tourism agriculture development should be emphasized,ecological landscape theory study enhanced,administrative organization perfected and reasonable ecological evaluation carried out,respecting the principle of ecology,fully exploring regional characteristics,strengthening government's guidance and considering villagers' will,so as to construct a society in which man and nature were in harmony.

Landscape Culture and Cultural Landscape

From the perspective of humanities,connotations of landscape culture and cultural landscape were elaborated,components,types and characteristics of both were compared.In terms of component,cultural landscape in narrow sense can be interpreted as the intangible component of landscape culture;in terms of type,all types of cultural landscapes have corresponding landscape cultures;in terms of characteristics,both of them are independent and inclusive with regionality,accumulation and inheritance of the old,but landscape culture is hysteretic and stable while cultural landscape is unstable.Essence correlation,development correlation,coexistence correlation and mutual-transformation between landscape culture and cultural landscape were demonstrated.Considering landscape culture and cultural landscape as a constantly-evolving open theory system,it was proposed that inconformity of them has been formed in the historic development and "human" factor has always been an essential element.Under certain circumstances,cultural landscape and landscape culture were able to transform mutually.

Analysis of Settlement Landscapes in Ancient Villages of Anyi County,Jiangxi Province of China

Forms and compositions of landscape elements in traditional spaces such as streets,lanes and plazas in ancient villages of Anyi County were studied.On the basis of investigating and analyzing current situation and problems of these ancient villages,difficulties in the development of ancient villages and improvement of living conditions as well as their contradictions with protection of ancient relics and cultures were explored,and corresponding protection principles and means proposed.It was stressed that the protection of landscape images in ancient villages of Anyi County should follow the principles of "protection first,reasonable development,integrated protection,valuing traditional cultures,encouraging the locals' participation",so as to create ancient villages with sustainable cultural traditions and favorable landscape images.

Protective Renovation and Cultural Inheritance of Ancient Villages——A Case Study of Hanjiaxiang Village in Chenggu County,Shaanxi Province of China

Cultural characteristics of the traditional architectural environment and places of traditional cultural activities in Hanjiaxiang Village,an immigrant village of the Ming Dynasty located in the present Yuangong Township,Chenggu County of Shaanxi Province,were studied to analyze influence of geographical environment,history and culture,and social environment on the village cultures.Specifically,cultural characteristics of traditional architectural environment in this village were elaborated from spatial layout,architectural structure,architectural style and village landscapes.In terms of places for traditional cultural activities,layouts and cultural characteristics of places for the clan's sacrifice and community's fire,traditional sacrifice activities,and local opera performances were introduced.On this basis,cultural inheritance means for the protective renovation and construction of overall village spaces,village buildings,village landscapes and cultural characteristics were proposed.

Inheritance of Cultural Landscape in College Campus Green Space—A Case Study of Landscape Planning of New Campus of Zhengzhou Huaxin College

By taking landscape planning of new campus of Zhengzhou Huaxin College for example, the paper expounded inheritance of cultural landscape in campus green space. It held that green space planning in college campus should be based on Chinese traditional culture and that cultural landscape construction in campus green space should integrate local environmental cultural characteristics.

Construction and Cultural Analysis of Pavilion in Garden Landscape

Pavilion is a significant architectural component in traditional Chinese garden,which can not only provide a rest space for people appreciating garden views,but also play a particular aesthetic role due to its flexible architectural forms.In this study,cultural connotations and construction laws of pavilion in traditional Chinese garden were specifically analyzed,and it was believed that different cultural connotations should be given to pavilions on the basis of diversified cultural orientations.Cultural orientations are mainly to show natural functions,enhance personal quality and create poetic atmosphere.In addition,diversified styles reflect different aesthetic tastes,which should be dealt with based on construction principles,that is to say,regional and geographical differences should be fully understood;the location of pavilion should be properly designed;pavilion design should be put into the general layout of garden.Therefore,pavilion requires not only rich styles and beautiful appearances,but also full consideration about coordinated components(such as color and materials) and environment,which can achieve the organic integration of its functions and arts.

On the basis of understanding the properties,concepts and objectives of running the school,geographical conditions,historical and cultural context of Baise University,cultural connotations were expressed by landscape elements such as layout of subareas,architecture,plants,sculptures,park-like settings,couplets and carvings.

Cultural Interpretation of the Landscape Environment of "Five Zen-Mountains"

'Five Zen-Mountains' are the five temples of Zen designated as the royal court of Southern Song Dynasty. As the typical representatives of South Temples, they play an important part in the history of Chinese Buddhism. On the basis of the in-depth study of the general rule of 'Five Mountains' landscape environment, this research sums up the geomancy concept, landscape worship concept, aesthetic concept and the inner ideology which are hidden behind the landscape environment.

Research on Evaluation of Terrace Cultural Landscape Heritage Value from the Perspective of AVC——Take Three Famous Terraces in Southern China for Example

The objective evaluation to the terrace cultural landscape heritage value can provide targeted scientific basis for continuation of terrace culture landscape and establishment of protection measures. On the basis of field investigation, expert consultation and literature review, combined with the AVC （Attraction、Vitality and Ca-pacity）theory and Analytic Hierarchy Process based on Fuzzy Comprehensive Evalu-ation, the terrace cultural landscape heritage protection evaluation system and eval-uation model, which selects 22 indicators from three levels including terrace culture landscape resources attraction, resources vitality and resources bearing capacity were structured. Based on col ection of data, material from field survey of China＆#39;s most representative Yunnan Yuanyang Hani terrace, Hunan Ziquejie terrace and Longsheng Longji terrace and relevant mathematical calculation to determine evalua-tion index weights, organical y combined of qualitative with quantitative analysis, the diversity, reasonableness and accuracy of evaluation system is improved. Compre-hensive result of mathematical statistics showed that the rank of the cultural land-scape heritage value with the three most representative terraces in southern China is： γ（Hani）〉γ（Longji）〉γ（Ziquejie）.

Research on the Value of Chinese Famous Mountainous Scenic Spots in the Perspective of Cultural Landscape

After summarizing relevant researches on famous mountainous scenic spots and the development of cultural landscapes in world cultural heritages, the paper has analyzed the value of famous mountainous scenic spots in China and considered that Chinese famous mountainous scenic spots are of rich natural science value and unique aesthetic value, have inherited traditional humane landscape aesthetic value, reflected the philosophical view of "the unity between heaven and human" and profound religious culture, and preserved rich cultural remains, corresponding with the definition and requirement of cultural landscape in world heritages.

Discussion on Cultural Characteristics of Landscape Architecture in Qinhuangdao

Landscape culture was the quintessence of landscape art. In the past 2 000 years, Qinhuangdao had accumulated rich cultural connotation. As cultural carrier, landscape architecture of Qinhuangdao displayed distinct cultural characteristics. Landscape culture of Qinhuangdao not only manifested in traditional culture and coastal culture, but also involved sports and Olympic culture, ecological culture and high-tech culture. So it was multi-culture with prominent features. In terms of protection and exploration of landscape culture of Qinhuangdao, it should reflect more sports spirit while the main feature of traditional culture and coastal culture was highlighted, so as to enhance the construction of ecological garden in Qinhuangdao and further apply modern technologies in landscape architecture.

Construction of Cultural Landscapes in Changjiang Waters of Jingdezhen since the Song Dynasty

Waters of Changjiang River were first defined.As the mother river of Jingdezhen,Changjiang River once was the only way for this ancient ceramic city communicating with the outer world,and played an important role in the economic development and ceramic industry of Jingdezhen.By consulting documents and investigating the local area,this study expounded and proved kiln landscapes of this ceramic city along the Changjiang River,traffic landscapes in the Changjiang River,folk customs and architectural landscapes,as well as unique images.The construction and evolution of its cultural landscapes were analyzed to explore the development history of this city.Characteristic cultural landscapes with the Changjiang River as the principal line were highlighted,"water elements" in the urban development of Jingdezhen,production and transportation of ceramic industry were demonstrated,so as to provide useful references for the reformation project of "one river and both banks",and the construction of new cultural landscapes in Jingdezhen,help Jingdezhen go smoothly in its urban development and transition from a traditional to a modern city.
