Social Work Modes of Rural Women Ability Construction: A Case Study of Luzhai Village in Yunnan Province

Taking Luzhai Village as a case,this paper discussed social work modes of rural women ability construction using marsh gas project,education project,handicraft project,and healthcare project as operation carrier. It focused on ability restoration and ability improvement to comprehensively respond to women demand and development. In the process of project implementation,it is recommended to avoid gender segregation,pay close attention to women subsistence ethics,properly treat traditional gender mode,and care about girl growth.

An Exploratory Study into Social Cost Considerations in Ghanaian Construction Industry

Construction causative nuisances, inconveniences, interferences and disruptions to the routine economic and social life patterns of adjacent or neighboring communities are referred to as social cost. This study explores the understanding and level of consideration of social cost by construction professionals in Ghana. Relevant literature sources are reviewed to define, rationalize and classify social cost. The study used the survey approach with a set of questionnaires addressed to construction contractors and professionals to gather the data. It was realized that not much consideration is given to social cost at the tender stage of the construction process. The five factors hindering social cost inclusion in tendering are “difficulty in allocating social costs”, “governmental interferences”, “lack of historical data”, “lack of appreciation of social costs” and “low stakeholder agitation”. The paper advocated for integration of social cost into the tendering process. The study will serve as a foundation to design a social cost assessment system at the pre-contract stage.

Path of Social Construction in Northwest Sichuan Plateau Pastoral Area

On the basis of main contents of social construction and key points of construction,this paper analyzes features of conditions of northwest Sichuan plateau pastoral area.The social construction at current stage mainly includes social cause in narrow sense,and social management at meso-level.The northwest Sichuan plateau pastoral area is faced with the best policy and development opportunity.However,there are still many weak aspects.Firstly,social structure is not coordinated with economic structure.Secondly,social construction ability of grass-roots government is weak.Thirdly,the ability to respond to public demands is low.Fourthly,there is a big gap in availability of basic public service.Finally,it presents path selection for social construction of northwest Sichuan plateau pastoral area:strengthen social construction ability of grass-roots government;promote social construction with livelihood projects as key projects;boost social construction taking advantage of ecological construction;develop basic public service with the aid of external forces;intensify evaluation system for supervision of social construction works.

Construction Approaches of Enterprise Innovation Network from the Perspective of Social Network

As an important means for enterprises to promote technological progress,product development and service level,innovation has an absolute role in enhancing enterprises'innovation strength and market strength.In the context of frequent and rapid product replacement and shortened technological innovation cycle in modern society,through the embedding of social networks,forming platforms for higher education institutions,governments,capital markets,research institutions and intermediary links to promote the integration of innovation and capital development and make the most of every resource has become an important way.From the perspective of social network,the methods and necessary approaches for the establishment of enterprise innovation network are studied in this article.

Research on the Construction of Social Mechanism for the Realization of China’s “Sustainable Overseas Interest”

China’s overseas interest has become more visible and fragile with the deepening of integration into the world.To protect China’s overseas interest,we need to focus on the realization of China’s“sustainable overseas interest”in addition to the prevention of direct infringement and threat.“Sustainable overseas interest”include different content levels of nation,corporate and society.Referring to the experience of other countries,we find that China still lacks the main body dimension in its maintenance mechanism of“sustainable overseas interest”,and the social mechanism level of the trinity system of government,enterprise and society is still insufficient.

Life Cycle Assessment:Embedded and Maintenance Environmental Impacts of Social Interest Housing Construction Systems

Characterized by high consumption of natural resources and great generation of environmental impacts,civil construction becomes an important ally to the development of strategies for a more sustainable built environment.In this context,this article aims to evaluate construction systems of social interest housing and point out their participation in relation to total impacts,in addition to indicating the environmental impacts embedded in the construction materials present in these systems.To this end,a case study was selected to apply Life Cycle Assessment(LCA)methodology and assess impacts of the building materials used in a house of a social housing complex.LCA was applied to masonry,roof,coatings and floor systems.The scope adopted assesses impacts incorporated in construction materials,analyzing the stages of raw material extraction,materials production,transport to construction site,maintenance and materials replacement.Concerning life cycle inventory,Ecoinvent 3.6 database was used and environmental impacts were calculated using CML method with the aid of OpenLCA 1.9 software.In general,results showed that the maintenance phase has the greatest environmental impact participation related to analyzed systems.Furthermore,it was possible to conclude that coatings and masonry systems were the ones that most added to total environmental impacts.

The Importance of Occupational Health and Safety(OHS)and OHS Budgeting in terms of Social Sustainability in the Construction Sector

Nowadays,sustainability is one of the most important construction sector goals,as it is in most other sectors.However,sustainability in the construction sector is dealt mostly with its environmental and economic dimensions,and its social dimension remains in the background.This situation causes the Occupational Health and Safety(OHS),which is perhaps the most important issue within the scope of social sustainability,to be addressed on its own,and its relationship with sustainability to be not introduced clearly.This study discussed the relationship between social sustainability and OHS in the construction sector.Based on the fact that in construction projects,the sustainability goal should be revealed forward to a great extent at the design stage,how to contribute to OHS by budgeting OHS activities together with project activities was explained.We intended to contribute to the provision of OHS and thus the social sustainability of construction projects by revealing how the budgeting will be done and how much OHS budget will be,by referring to the studies in the literature conducted about OHS budgeting and presented robust numerical data.The study is expected to help construction sector stakeholders to understand the relationship between social sustainability and OHS and to provide a clear picture of the role of budgeting in this respect.

Social Construction Functions of Consumption Space under Stratification:The Case of Guangzhou

As Chinese cities rapidly transformed themselves into consumerist societies,the relationship between consumers and consumption space under stratification has become a new research area in the field of urban social geography.Based on a consumer behavior analysis,this study explores the relationship between consumption space and the social strata of consumers in typical shopping malls in Guangzhou where the first shopping mall in China was built.The result shows that shopping malls have performed significant constructive functions of organizing consumers from different social classes into different consumption space.For middle-and upper-class consumers,the function of shopping malls centers on utilitarian consumption,identity recognition,and identity construction;whereas for lower-class consumers,its function revolves around pleasure and enjoyment.The symbolism of consumption space is the underlying reason for shopping malls to have their social constructive function.The findings of this research suggest that:1) a shopping mall is a productive consumption space and a geographical space with subjectivity;2) the micro-location of a shopping mall has social construction function;and 3) symbolic consumption is the core of social construction.

Currently,corporate social responsibility has become the focus of all countries in the world.Accordingly,there is a new management concept to appear.Corporate social responsibility means that corporation is the main body to undertake responsibility,and its social responsibility is from the effect of corporation activities on the society.With cultural differences,Chinese and western corporate social responsibilities are very different,including the role of government,the point of view to understand,the social supervision,etc.In this study,China’s corporation society responsibility construction way is analyzed based on knowing well the cultural differences.

Constructal Law of Institutions within Social Organizations

This work looked for a unifying theory between physical-biological domain and social sciences. Constructal law unified physical and biological domain by telling the general sense in which flow systems tend to evolve. Management theory looks for relations between institutions and human agency. Although being state of mind entities, institutions follow constructal law. This work proposed the main organization flows are information and credit. Biologic instincts derived from Darwinian natural selection are the driving or blocking forces of such flows. Once biologic instincts systematically block information and credit flows in large numbers, this work proposed every human organization must have institutions to inhibit some behaviors. Those institutions need to be present, at least partially, in formal rules of social groups. This way it is possible to predict expansion or downfall of human groups using objective and quantifiable data. Therefore, further studies may employ classical history to confirm this theory. This work analyzed some case studies to show qualitatively the application of proposed theory. Concluding, this work gave physically-biologically grounded guidance for institutional changes.

社会互构论视域下高校思想政治教育创新路径探赜

社会互构论认为政治社会化具备交互性、多元性、谐变性的基本特征。研究大学生政治社会化应从教化和内化的关系入手,明确互构过程中的多元主体,关注个人主体性的发挥机理。高校思想政治教育在多元联动方法论上存在与多元主体交互的广度和深度不足、利用新兴网络主体赋能的形式尚待发掘的问题,在个人主体性发挥路径方面存在尚未掌握内化规律、尚未充分利用反向型塑功能的问题,导致联动时出现主体单一、交互不足、谐变受阻。针对此,应在宏观层面充分拓展思想政治教育互动空间,探索校内和校外以及虚拟空间中多重场域联动育人功效;在微观层面关注受教育者内化过程,通过锚定“Z世代”的群体特质来制定思想政治教育内容,通过对话沟通建立良性“互构闭环”。
