It can realize demodulation of distributed fiber Bragg grating(FBG) measurement system. Its scanning resolution and scanning period depend on wavelet function. Wavelet function is controlled by computer. Compared to conventional scan filter, optical wavelet filtering has some advantages such as simple structure, high scan frequency, high resolution and good linearity. At last, the error of optical wavelet filter scanning procedure is analyzed. Scanning step length refers to the shifting of optical wavelet window's central frequency. It affects system precision directly. If scanning step length is different, the measured signal is different. The methods of reducing step length guarantee scanning periodic time are presented.展开更多

Its process is expatiated after the principles of WPD and TEO modulation are introduced respectively. The preprocessed sigaaal is interpolated with the cubic spline function, then expanded over the selected basis wavelets. Grouping its wavelet packet components of the signal based on the minimum entropy criterion, the interpolated signal can be decomposed into its dominant components with nearly distinct fault frequency contents. To extract the demodulation information of each dominant component, TEO is used. The performance of the proposed method is assessed by means of several tests on vibration signals collected from the gearbox mounted on a heavy truck. It is proved that hybrid WPD-TEO method is effective and robust for detecting and diagnosing localized gearbox faults.展开更多

Point source detection performance of HXMT imaging observation depends not only on the instrument but also on the data analysis method that is applied since images are reconstructed from HXMT observed data with numerical methods. The denoising technique used plays an important part in the HXMT imaging data analysis pipeline along with demodulation and source detection. In this paper we have implemented several methods for denoising HXMT data and evaluated the point source detection performances in terms of sensitivities and location accuracies. The results show that direct demodulation with 1-fold cross-correlation should be the default reconstruction and regularization method, although both sensitivity and location accuracy could be further improved by selecting and tuning numerical methods in data analysis used for HXMT imaging observations.展开更多
