A comprehensive look at the psychoneuroimmunoendocrinology of spinal cord injury and its progression: mechanisms and clinical opportunities

Spinal cord injury(SCI)is a devastating and disabling medical condition generally caused by a traumatic event(primary injury).This initial trauma is accompanied by a set of biological mechanisms directed to ameliorate neural damage but also exacerbate initial damage(secondary injury).The alterations that occur in the spinal cord have not only local but also systemic consequences and virtually all organs and tissues of the body incur important changes after SCI,explaining the progression and detrimental consequences related to this condition.Psychoneuroimmunoendocrinology(PNIE)is a growing area of research aiming to integrate and explore the interactions among the different systems that compose the human organism,considering the mind and the body as a whole.The initial traumatic event and the consequent neurological disruption trigger immune,endocrine,and multisystem dysfunction,which in turn affect the patient's psyche and well-being.In the present review,we will explore the most important local and systemic consequences of SCI from a PNIE perspective,defining the changes occurring in each system and how all these mechanisms are interconnected.Finally,potential clinical approaches derived from this knowledge will also be collectively presented with the aim to develop integrative therapies to maximize the clinical management of these patients.

Hepatitis E virus(HEV),responsible for widespread viral hepatitis,infects approximately 2.3 billion individuals globally,with a significant mortality burden in Asia.The virus,primarily transmitted through contaminated water and undercooked meat,is often underdiagnosed,particularly in immunocompromised patients.Current HEV treatments,while effective,are limited by adverse effects,necessitating research into safer alternatives.Moreover,HEV’s extrahepatic manifestations,impacting the nervous and renal systems,remain poorly understood.This study underscores the imperative for enhanced HEV research,improved diagnostic methods,and more effective treatments,coupled with increased public health awareness and preventive strategies.

Developing Healthcare Infrastructure in Saudi Arabia Using Smart Technologies: Challenges and Opportunities

This study aims to explore the challenges and opportunities associated with developing healthcare infrastructure in Saudi Arabia through the implementation of smart technologies. Opportunities, Challenges, and Countermeasures of China Myanmar Economic and Trade Cooperation under the Background of RCEP

China and Myanmar are geographically adjacent and have close economic and trade cooperation. China has been Myanmar’s largest trading partner and largest source of investment for many consecutive years. With the official entry into force of RCEP (Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership) for Myanmar on May 1, 2022, the reduction of trade tariffs on goods and flexible rules of origin between China and Myanmar will undoubtedly bring more practical results to China Myanmar economic and trade cooperation. However, the implementation of RCEP in Myanmar may face a series of challenges such as poor business environment, weak human resource management, and outdated infrastructure construction. Finally, the article provides countermeasures for China Myanmar economic and trade cooperation from three aspects: optimizing the business environment to attract Chinese investment, increasing investment in education and training to improve labor quality, strengthening infrastructure construction to enhance economic support.

Opportunities and Challenges of College Mental Health Education from the Perspective of Big Data

This paper explores the opportunities and challenges of college mental health education from the perspective of big data.Firstly,through literature review,the importance of mental health education and the current issues are elucidated.Then,from the perspective of big data,the potential opportunities of big data in college mental health education are analyzed,including data-driven personalized education,real-time monitoring and warning systems,and interdisciplinary research and collaboration.At the same time,the challenges faced by college mental health education under the perspective of big data are also pointed out,such as data privacy and security issues,insufficient data analysis and interpretation capabilities,and inadequate technical facilities and talent support.Lastly,the research content of this paper is summarized,and directions and suggestions for future research are proposed.

不同体温状况下血培养的阳性率比较

目的:比较住院发热患儿不同体温采集时机对于血培养阳性率的影响。方法:采用回顾性研究方法,对2023年1月—12月在首都医科大学附属北京儿童医院感染内科病房住院并行血培养采集的530例患儿为研究对象,按照血培养采集时患儿体温分为发热组和非发热组,比较两组血培养阳性率和阳性病原菌的分布情况。结果:共检出11例阳性患儿,阳性率为2.1%,其中发热组6例,非发热组5例;非发热组阳性率为2.3%,发热组阳性率为1.9%,两组比较差异无统计学意义(P>0.05);不同体温组血培养阳性率比较差异无统计学意义(P>0.05),其中低热组血培养阳性率最高(3.4%)。两组血培养阳性病原菌分布比较差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论:对于使用过抗生素的住院患儿,寒战或发热初期采集血培养对于血培养阳性检出率无明显影响,体温正常期也是可选择的血培养采集时机。

子女普高升学机会如何影响母亲多孩生育行为?——基于中考分流的制度背景

党的二十大报告指出要“建立生育支持政策体系,降低生育、养育、教育成本”,然而现行的中考分流制度背景下普高升学机会不足却可能加重家庭教育焦虑、推高教育成本、导致育龄女性不愿或不敢多生。从理论视角分析子女普高升学机会与母亲多孩生育行为的影响关系及作用机制。基于CFPS2016、2018、2020三年的面板数据,使用OLS回归模型估计中考分流背景下,子女普高升学机会对母亲多孩生育行为的影响,为识别教育压力对多孩生育的影响提供了微观证据。实证结果表明,普高升学机会提高有利于多孩生育水平提升。异质性分析发现,在中部地区,普高升学机会提高对多孩生育水平提升有显著的正面影响;中低收入阶层、中低教育水平阶层、中部地区女性的再生育行为更容易受到普高升学机会的影响。机制分析表明,在中考分流背景下普高升学机会通过改变教育支出的方式作用于育龄女性多孩生育行为。研究结果为理解教育压力与生育之间的关系提供了新的观察视角,对于推进教育与生育领域联动改革、提高生育水平具有现实意义,为相关政策的制定与实施提供了参考。

代谢正常型肥胖症患者放牧饮食行为的影响因素分析:一项质性研究

背景在肥胖率日益增长的现况下,代谢正常型肥胖通过早期干预可以获得良好结局,此类人群出现放牧饮食行为是体质量管理的一个明确障碍因素。了解出现放牧饮食行为的影响因素,有助于提升肥胖症的饮食依从性,但目前缺少相关的质性研究。目的探索代谢正常型肥胖者放牧饮食行为发生的影响因素。方法基于能力、机会、动机-行为模型(COM-B)和理论域框架(TDF)制订访谈提纲,2023年6—9月采用目的抽样法选取江苏省苏北人民医院内分泌科就诊的17例代谢正常型肥胖者进行半结构式访谈,访谈资料以COM-B和TDF为编码框架,采用归纳主题法和演绎框架法分析。结果分析归纳出包括缺乏饮食管理知识、认知资源不足、感知和实践影响、不良应对方式、缺乏反思/自发动机、环境与社会影响6个核心主题。结论代谢正常型肥胖者由于自身、医护、社会环境等诸多因素影响导致出现放牧饮食行为,应根据患者多维度需求采取相应干预措施,以帮助患者建立健康饮食行为习惯。

收入机会不平等对中国居民心理健康的影响

收入机会不平等阻碍了我国共同富裕目标和健康中国战略的推进与实现。研究利用2012至2020年中国家庭追踪调查数据测算县级层面的收入机会不平等,并采用双向固定效应模型探究收入机会不平等对居民心理健康的影响。结果表明:(1)我国收入机会不平等约占整体收入不平等的35%,且逐年增加。(2)收入机会不平等对心理健康具有负面作用,该影响在低资产家庭、面临孝亲抚幼双重负担的家庭、女性及城市居民中表现更为显著。(3)收入机会不平等通过削弱对未来的信心、改变不平等的认知进而损害居民心理健康。该研究结果揭示了进一步加大国民收入分配再调节力度、缓解收入机会不平等对于巩固脱贫成果、实现共同富裕目标和全民健康战略的紧迫性和必要性。

实习护生循证护理实践机会感知现状及影响因素分析

目的探讨实习护生循证护理实践机会感知现状及影响因素。方法采用便利抽样法,选取2024年2—4月在武汉市4所三级甲等医院实习的149名护生作为调查对象,运用一般资料表、循证护理实践机会感知量表、循证护理实践意愿量表进行问卷调查。结果实习护生循证护理实践机会感知量表得分为(4.02±0.72)分,其中组织维度得分较高,护士、患者维度得分相对较低。多因素分析结果显示,从事护理工作的意愿、英语等级和循证护理实践意愿是实习护生循证护理实践机会感知的影响因素(P<0.05)。结论实习护生循证护理实践机会感知处于较高水平,护理教育者及管理者应注重提高实习护生的循证护理实践机会感知水平。
