An application of Genre-based Teaching Approaches into the teaching of English reading and writing

There are several teaching approaches being used to instruct the reading and writing teaching, such as the product approach, the process approach and the genre approach. In a long period, the product approach and the process approach dominate the field of writing teaching. With the development of genre and genre-analysis theory, we begin to realize that genre-based approach is effective in improving students ’ reading comprehension and writing. Based on the analysis of the theory and on the present situations of college English teaching and personal teaching experience, the genre-based teaching approach is introduced to the writing and reading comprehension teaching.

On Effectiveness of Task-based Reading Teaching in Vocational College

Task-based Language Teaching advocates that the students' learning is to master the language naturally and automatically by finishing real tasks in activities,which is a communicative process.Based upon Willis' model for TBLT,the author has done experiment in two classes.The results showed that task-based reading teaching is suitable to vocational college students.There is great significance appeared in the learning quality on the students in experimental class.(1) It can build up the students' self-confidence in reading.(2) It can facilitate the students' reading comprehension.(3) It helps to cultivate the students' autonomous reading habit.

Application of Task-based Approach in English Reading Classes in Senior Middle School

The traditional teaching approach is teacher-oriented,giving priority to grammar and lexical usage and neglecting the development of students’linguistic ability.The task-based approach is based on tasks and its prominent feature is"learning by doing and learning by using".By accomplishing tasks in target language,students can obtain linguistic knowledge and improve linguistic ability.This thesis is based on task-based approach,referring to English compulsory textbooks in senior middle school,exploring the application of task-based approach in intensive reading classes and providing case studies.

The Effect of Reading-based Writing On Enhancement of Senior Three Students’ Writing Ability

This paper is aimed at studying the effect of reading-based writing instruction on the improvement of senior three students’writing capability.By analyzing students’reading materials from the sample test papers,students are able to notice the distinctive characteristics of the target language ranging from words,expressions,sentence structures and paragraph structures,which is beneficial to students’writing.

A Brief Analysis of Task-based Teaching in College English Reading Class

Improving Learners' Reading Skill in EFL Class

Topics around helping students to acquire the skill of reading have become increasingly popular in the discussion of foreign language teaching.In this paper,the author emphasizes the importance of improving learners' reading skill,presents the understanding of three factors concerning how to improve learners' reading comprehension in EFL class and then introduces a 90-minute lesson plan to illustrate the statements.

The Effectiveness of Strategies-based Instruction on Postgraduates' English Vocabulary Learning

This ten-week quasi-experimental study was undertaken to explore the effectiveness of strategies-based vocabulary instruction on English vocabulary learning of postgraduate learners.By the questionnaires and vocabulary tests administered before and after the instruction,the experimental group and the control group were compared to find out whether reading comprehension plus SBI method was more effective than reading only method in postgraduates' English vocabulary learning.

主题探究式耕读教育实践教学体系的构建与实践

分析了我国涉农高校开展耕读教育的背景与现状,提出基于目标导向构建耕读教育实践体系与模式,遵循教育原理、农事规律与校本实际设计了主题探究教学内容,根据系统观建立了高校耕读教育完整实践体系。介绍了华南农业大学面向涉农专业、非农科专业实施耕读教育实践的具体举措,主要包括整合全校资源建设10个耕读教育训练站,构建10门主题探究式耕读教育A课程,设置47个训练项目组成耕读教育B课程等,通过10年教学实践,培养了大批高素质新农科人才,取得了一系列育人成效。

医学影像学教学阅片实践课线上教学的优化探索

时代背景下,高校开展线上教学至关重要,在线教学模式多样,教学效果参差不齐。开展在线教育给教师带来了全新的机遇与挑战,为日后实施教育创造了有利的条件,在一定程度上促进了教育事业可持续发展。文章主要通过对医学影像学教学阅片实践课线上教学优化进行深度探究,首先,分析医学影像学线上教学的时代发展性、医学影像学教学阅片线上教学现状分析,其次从以案例为基础的教学法(case-based learning,CBL)、引入翻转课堂设计以及形成性评价方式等几个方面深入说明并探讨,为医学影像学在线教学阅片提供一种更生动有趣的教学模式,优化线上教学效果,以供其他学科参考。

“以读促写”模式在高职英语写作教学中的应用

英语阅读是语言学习者获取信息、提升思维能力的极其重要的语言输入来源和途径,英语写作是语言使用者语言输出和书面沟通的重要形式。在高职英语写作教学中,有效融入阅读教学,可从依托阅读文本,挖掘写作主题;确定教学目标,创设写作情境;讲解语篇结构,搭建写作支架;评价作品质量,提升写作技能方面构建和运用“以读促写”教学模式,促进学生英语应用能力的发展。

基于续论的大学英语“听读后续说”教学模式构建与实践研究

将“续论”指导下构建的“听读后续说”混合式教学模式应用于大学英语听说课程教学实践,采用问卷、访谈和案例分析的方法,探索“听读后续说”这一续作形式在《新未来大学英语视听说教程》教学中应用的可行性和有效性。结果显示“听读后续说”听说课堂对学生认知(如发散思维能力、想象力、创造力等)、情感(如学习态度、兴趣等)和语言层面都具有明显的促进作用。这对大学英语听说课程教学改革和“续说”研究具有借鉴和参考意义。

基于循证的高校图书馆主题书展服务效果测评研究

为加强高校图书馆阅读推广工作质量、量化评估服务效果,本研究以阅读推广服务中最基础的工作——主题书展为切入点,采用循证图书馆学(EBL)的理念进行效果测评设计,提出了一套系统有效的测评流程,并进行了验证。实证结果证明了此流程的有效性,为进一步优化和改进主题书展服务效果提供了最佳证据。本研究提供的案例剖析不仅可以作为高校图书馆主题书展效果测评方法进行推广,也可以给其他类型阅读推广服务的设置及优化提供路径参考和证据支持。

面向云存储且支持重加密的多关键词属性基可搜索加密方案

针对一对多模型下共享数据细粒度访问控制、密文密钥的安全共享和更新等问题,提出了一种面向云存储且支持代理重加密的多关键词属性基可搜索加密方案。增加节点信息改进访问树结构,实现对密文数据读写权限的细粒度访问控制;对查询关键词进行属性基加密优化处理,实现陷门信息不可区分性和限制不同用户的检索能力;利用重加密方法更新密文及密钥,解决已撤销用户恶意访问隐私数据带来的系统安全问题;设计了一种基于区块链的安全性验证算法来识别第三方托管隐私数据被攻击篡改的问题。基于DBDH困难问题和DDH困难问题,推理证明了所提方案能够满足自适应关键词密文安全和陷门安全。实验结果表明,该方案在密钥生成、陷门生成、关键词索引生成和正确性验证阶段能够保证隐私数据及密钥安全,同时相比于同类方案,在时间开销方面具有更高效率。
