These two problems have a strong practical application background and important theoretical research value. It is shown that such problems can be transformed into a series of sum-type and bottleneck-type continuous knapsack problems respectively.Based on the property of the optimal solution two O n2 algorithms for solving the two problems are proposed where n is the number of vertices on the tree.展开更多

It is introduced a general concept of Pade approximant and we study its relation with the best local quasi-rational approximant. We characterize the limit of the error for polynomial approximation. A new SAR image de-noising method based on texture strength and weighted nuclear norm minimization(WNNM) is proposed. To implement blind de-noising, the accurate estimation of noise variance is very important. So far, it is still a challenge to estimate SAR image noise level accurately because of the rich texture. Principal component analysis(PCA) and the low rank patches selected by image texture strength are used to estimate the noise level. With the help of noise level, WNNM can be expected to SAR image de-noising. Experimental results show that the proposed method outperforms many excellent de-noising algorithms such as Bayes least squares-Gaussian scale mixtures(BLS-GSM) method, non-local means(NLM) filtering in terms of both quantitative measure and visual perception quality.展开更多

Regularization methods have been substantially applied in image restoration due to the ill-posedness of the image restoration problem.Different assumptions or priors on images are applied in the construction of image ...Regularization methods have been substantially applied in image restoration due to the ill-posedness of the image restoration problem.Different assumptions or priors on images are applied in the construction of image regularization methods.In recent years,matrix low-rank approximation has been successfully introduced in the image denoising problem and significant denoising effects have been achieved.Low-rank matrix minimization is an NP-hard problem and it is often replaced with the matrix’s weighted nuclear norm minimization(WNNM).The assumption that an image contains an extensive amount of self-similarity is the basis for the construction of the matrix low-rank approximation-based image denoising method.In this paper,we develop a model for image restoration using the sum of block matching matrices’weighted nuclear norm to be the regularization term in the cost function.An alternating iterative algorithm is designed to solve the proposed model and the convergence analyses of the algorithm are also presented.Numerical experiments show that the proposed method can recover the images much better than the existing regularization methods in terms of both recovered quantities and visual qualities.展开更多

A match filter is used within many important areas such as splicing seismic dat...Greater attention has been paid to vintage-merge processing of seismic data and extracting more valuable information by the geophysicist. A match filter is used within many important areas such as splicing seismic data, matching seismic data with different ages and sources, 4-D seismic monitoring, and so on. The traditional match filtering method is subject to many restrictions and is usually difficult to overcome the impact of noise. Based on the traditional match filter, we propose the wavelet domain L1 norm optimal matching filter. In this paper, two different types of seismic data are decomposed to the wavelet domain, different detailed effective information is extracted for Ll-norm optimal matching, and ideal results are achieved. Based on the model test, we find that the L1 norm optimal matching filter attenuates the noise and the waveform, amplitude, and phase coherence of result signals are better than the conventional method. The field data test shows that, with our method, the seismic events in the filter results have better continuity which achieves the high precision seismic match requirements.展开更多

Lentinan samples,(1→3)-β-D-glucans containing 4.6-15.2 wt% proteins,coded as L-I_1 L-I_2 L-I_3 and L-I_4(L-I)were isolated from four kinds of Lentinus edodes.These glucans were treated with acetone to remove the pro...Lentinan samples,(1→3)-β-D-glucans containing 4.6-15.2 wt% proteins,coded as L-I_1 L-I_2 L-I_3 and L-I_4(L-I)were isolated from four kinds of Lentinus edodes.These glucans were treated with acetone to remove the protein in orderto obtain free protein glucans coded as LNP-I_1,LNP-I_2.LNP-I_3 and LNP-I_4(LNP-I).The free-protein polysaccharideswere sulfated to give derivatives(S-LNP-I)with degree of substitution(DS)from 0.4-0.8.The structural features andweight-average molecular weight(M_w)of the samples were investigated by using infrared spectroscopy,elemental analysis,^(13)C-NMR,size exclusion chromatography combined with laser light scattering(SEC-LLS)and viscometry.The effects ofstructure and conformation of the polysaccharides on antitumor activities were assayed in vivo(Sarcoma 180 solid tumors)and in vitro(Sarcoma 180,HL-60,MCF-7 and Vero tumors).The results indicated that the predominant species of thesamples L-I and LNP-I in 0.2 mol/L NaCl aqueous solution existed as triple-helical chains with high rigidity and in dimethylsulfoxide(DMSO)as single-flexible chains.Interestingly,the antitumor activities of LNP-I are lower than those of the nativeglucans(L-I),whereas their sulfated derivatives have higher inhibition ratio against Sarcoma 180 than LNP-I.The resultsreveal that the binding of protein,sulfated modification and the triple helix conformation are important factors in theenhancement of the antitumor activities of polysaccharides on the whole.展开更多

With the objective of fine mapping of this locus...The QTL qTGW3-1 was located on chromosome 3 of rice (Oryza sativa L.) and associated with the 1 000-grain weight (TGW) according to the result of our earlier study. With the objective of fine mapping of this locus, we developed a F2 population consisting of 3 428 plants derived from the cross between TGW-related near isogenic line DL017 (BC3F4 generation of GSL 156×Nipponbare) and the recurrent parent Nipponbare. Using six microsatellites, this QTL was delimited between RM5477 and RM6417. Markers MM 1455 and MM 1456 within this region were used for further mapping of this QTL. Finally, qTGW3-1 was fine-mapped into a 89-kb interval between RM5477 and MM1456, which locates in the BAC clone AC107226 harboring five putative candidate genes.展开更多

This stud...The purpose of this study is to reveal the effects of historic climate change on rice yield over the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, China, and to better adapt to climate change in the future. This study presents the relation of temperature and precipitation and rice components from 1981 to 2003 at 48 early rice stations and 30 middle rice stations. It focuses on an analysis of three stages: flowering, pre-milk, and late milk. The results show that mean maximum temperature and mean daily precipitation at the stages of flowering and pre-milk are most related to early rice yield. Yield change of middle rice is mainly because of mean precipitation change at the flowering stage. Furthermore, percentage of undeveloped grain increases as mean maximum temperature rises at the flowering stage. Over-precipitation in the reproductive stage is a major reason for reduction in yield of early rice. Consecutive rainfall and continuous high temperature can have negative effects on middle rice yield. Global warming would affect middle rice more seriously than early rice.展开更多
