Observation on the Therapeutic Effects of Wenjing Decoction on Menstrual Disorders

Objective:To treat patients with menstrual disorders with Wenjing Decoction and analyze its therapeutic effects.Metlods:80 patients with menstrual disorders were selected as the research subjects,and they were divided into two groups(experimental group and control group),with each group given different treatment methods.The control group was given conventional Western medical treatment while the experimental group was given Wenjing Decoction treatment,and the effects of different treatment methods on the patients were compared.Results:The total number of effectively treated patients in the experimental group(39 cases,97.50%)was more than the that of the control group(25 cases,62.50%)。and the quality of life score of the experimental group(91.56±4.44 points)was higher that of the control group(81.72±3.19 points),and the number of menstnual recovery cycles(1.11±0.41)was less than that of the control group patients(2.42±1.25 times),P<0.05.Conclusion:The application of Wenjing Decoction for patients with menstrual disorders can significantly improve the treatment efficacy and is beneficial to improve the quality of life of the patients and shorten the number of cycles that menstruation starts to return to normal.

Effects of modified Wenjing decoction on microcirculation in reproductive organs in rats with symptom patterns of cold coagulation and blood stasis

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the relationship between symptom patterns of cold coagulation and blood stasis(CCBS) and microcirculation disturbance. In addition, we determined the efficacy of modified Wenjing decoction(WJD) for the treatment of CCBS.METHODS: CCBS was induced in rats with an icewater bath treatment. The ovarian function, microvascular and circulatory status of reproductive organs, and function of local microvascular endothelial cells(VECs) and vascular smooth muscle cells(VSMCs) were evaluated.RESULTS: Ovarian dysfunction was observed in the rats with CCBS. It was characterized by the presence of an estrous cycle disorder and a decrease in reproductive hormone levels. Microvascular circulation disorders were associated with an imbalance in vasoconstriction, relaxation substances, nitric oxide, abnormal blood flow in whole blood, and decreased blood flow in the auricle and uterus. VECs were damaged, and VSMCs contracted and proliferated in ovarian and uterine tissues.CONCLUSION: Our findings suggest that the dysfunctional reproductive organs observed in gynecological CCBS may be closely related to the microcirculation disturbance of local tissues, microvascular contraction, and vascular remodeling. Modified WJD can be used to treat CCBS by improving microcirculation in reproductive organs.

Research Progress on Classical Prescriptions in Treating Mammary Glands Hyperplasia

According to Zhongjing Zhang's academic thought,gynecological diseases mostly result from deficiency,accumulated cold,and qi stagnation,so the treatment of gynecological miscellaneous diseases should take qi and blood as the general principle,and focus on the liver.The pathogenesis of mammary glands hyperplasia(MGH)is liver and kidney deficiency,disharmony of the thoroughfare vessel and the conception vessel,the causes of which are emotional imbalance,liver qi depression,and failure of transportation due to spleen deficiency.The superficial causes include qi stagnation,phlegm coagulation,and blood stasis,which are mainly related to the liver,spleen,kidney,the thoroughfare vessel,and the conception vessel.In clinical treatment of MGH,Xiaochaihu Decoction or Sini Powder can be used for qi stagnation syndrome,Xiao Xianxiong Decoction for phlegm coagulation syndrome,Guizhi Fuling Pill or Dahuang Zhechong Pill for spleen deficiency syndrome,and Wenjing Decoction for the deficiency-cold syndrome.
