This paper proposes a zer o current and zero voltage switching (ZCZVS) PWM Boost full bridge (FB) conve rter. With series inductors, the leading switches can realize zero current swit ching (ZCS) in a wide load range using the energy of the output capacitor. Ma king use of parasitic capacitors of the lagging switches and parallel auxiliary i nductance with the primary winding of the transformer, the lagging switches can realize zero voltage switching (ZVS) under any load. Compared with the ZCS PWM Boost FB converter, the new converter has no current duty cycle loss. Operat ional principle and parameter design are analyzed. Active Current Sharing of LCLC Resonant Converter with Switch-Controlled-Capacitor Technology

In this paper,an interleaved LCLC converter with enhancement-mode(E-mode)GaN devices is introduced to achieve the accurate current sharing performance for data center applications. Any tolerance in the resonant tank elements can lead to large load imbalance between any two different phases. Due to the steep gain curves of LCLC converters,conventional current sharing methods are not effective. In the proposed converter,the impedances of the resonant networks are matched by switching a capacitor,i.e.,switch controlled capacitor(SCC),in series with the resonant capacitor in one or some of the phases,which results in accurate load current sharing among the phases with an accuracy around 0.025%. The load share of a phase is sensed through the resonant current on it,and the control logic applied to such current sharing can be achieved. By this method,accurate current sharing is achieved for a wide input voltage range required for the hold-up time in data center applications. Interleaving is applied in the proposed multiphase LCLC converter,resulting in low current stress on the output capacitor and allowing ceramic capacitor implementation. Moreover,phase shedding accomplishes high light load efficiency. The performance of the proposed interleaved LCLC converter is verified by a two-phase 1 k W prototype with an input voltage ranging from 250 V to 400 V and a fixed 12 V output voltage. 展开更多

The application areas of conventional push pull converters are limited because of high voltage stress of switches (twice of input voltage). This paper presents a novel zero voltage and zero current switching (ZCS) PWM push pull three level converter in which the voltage stress of switches is input voltage. With phase shifted modulation strategy, the leading switches can only realize zero voltage switching (ZVS), and the lagging switches can realize ZCS when block capacitor and block diodes are added. Using the strategy, the converter overcomes the drawbacks presented by the conventional push pull converter, such as magnetic aberration, large switch loss, and voltage spike on switches, so it can get higher efficiency, and a wider application area. The operating principle of the new converter is analyzed and verified on a 600 W, 50 kHz experimental prototype. Several zero voltage and zero current switching PWM push pull three level converters are proposed. 展开更多

In traction application,speed range of motor is an important index for motor drives.In AC motor control,the maximum speed of the motor is limited by the output voltage capability of the traditional three-phase inverter with star connenction of windings.Switching the star connection to delta connection in high-speed range can extend the speed range.In order to extend the speed operation region,star-delta switch proposed by many literatures relies on mechanical relay,which needs a dead zone of tens of milliseconds and seriously affects torque output.Besides,the traditional method will cause current overshoot during the switch transient process,decreasing the device security and reliability.Aiming at the defects existing in the star-delta hard switching,this paper proposes a star-delta soft switching method.Without adding extra power electronics devices,DC-bus capacitor is used to provide the path of zero axis current in the transient process,which helps to achieve the smooth torque output and zero current switch in the transient.Experiments have been done to validate the performance of the proposed method.The switching transient from star to delta connection in the motor drive can be much more stable than hard switching method. 展开更多

The proposed topology gives the output voltage as twice as the input voltage and enhances the efficiency up to 94.5% and 92.9% for boost and buck mode operation by proper selection of the duty cycle. Soft switching can be achieved at both steps up and step down operating modes. Small signal analysis based on state space averaging and transfer functions have been presented in detail for the proposed converter. Finally, the feasibility of the desired converter is confirmed to mat lab simulation and investigational results. 展开更多

This paper proposes the design and experimentation of digital control of soft-switched interleaved boost converter using FPGA for Telecommunication System. The switching devices in the proposed converter are turned on and off with Zero Voltage Switching (ZVS) and Zero Current Switching (ZCS) respectively. The circuit is operated in Continuous Conduction Mode (CCM) with various load ranges having duty cycle of more than 50%. The proposed converter is studied by developing the simulation module in MATLAB/SIMULINK. A PI controller is designed and implemented in FPGA to obtain a regulated DC output for line and load variations. Simulation and experimentation results are verified with a prototype development of the proposed converter. The results indicate that the converter performance is enhanced with closed loop control. 展开更多

The multi-phase implementation in the QR (quasi resonant) ZCS (zero current switching) SC (switched capacitor) bidirectional DC-DC converter structure has been proposed to reduce current ripple, switching loss and significantly increase the converter efficiency and power density. This approach provides a more precise output voltage to obtain voltage conversion ratios from the double-mode versus half-mode to n-mode versus 1/n mode. This is accomplished by adding a different number of switched-capacitors and power MOSFET switches with a small series connected resonant inductor for forward and reverse schemes. The size and cost can be reduced when the proposed converter has been designed with the coupled inductors. The simulation and experimental results have been used to demonstrate the performance of the two-phase with and without coupled inductor interleaved QR ZCS SC converters for bidirectional power flow control application, and an extending structure for N-phase is mentioned. 展开更多

Experimental Study of the Recovery Times of Spark Gap Switch with Different Gases 被引量:5

A two-pulse method is used to determine the insulation recovery time of the gas spark gap switch with different types of gas applied in a high power accelerator with a water dielectric pulse forming line. At the breakdown voltage of 450 kV, with the vacuum diode voltage of about 200 kV, and a current of 30 kA, recovery characteristics of H2, N2, SF6 were studied. The recovery percentages of the gas breakdown voltage and vacuum diode voltage were determined. The results show that hydrogen has the best recovery characteristics. At a pulse interval of 8.8 ms, the recovery percentages of both the gas breakdown voltage and vacuum diode voltage for hydrogen exceed 95%. For SF6 and N2 with an interval of 25 ms and 50 ms respectively, a 90% voltage recovery was obtained. The experiments also proved that the repetitive rate of the high power accelerator with a pulse forming line is mainly restricted by the gas switch repetitive rate; the recovery percentages of the vacuum diode voltage are limited by the recovery percentages of the gas switch breakdown voltage. The hydrogen switch can be employed for a high repetitive rate-high power accelerator with a pulse forming line. 展开更多

In this paper, on the basis of the phase shifted controlled zero voltage switch (ZVS) full bridge converter with pulse width modulation (PWM), a novel zero voltage and zero current switch (ZVZCS) PWM converter using a simple auxiliary circuit was designed. The ZVZCS soft switch is achieved by the resonance among the resisting electromagnetic deflection capacitor, the capacitor of the simple auxiliary network and the leakage inductor of transformer. There are no dissipation devices of the saturation inductor and the auxiliary switch in the converter, meantime the capacitor of the auxiliary circuit is also used to clamp the voltage of the rectifier, and there is no additional clamped circuit. There is no big circulating current in the converter, all the active and passive devices work on the condition of the low current and voltage stress, and the proposed converter has wide load range and small duty loss. 展开更多

储能系统中通常通过串联多个储能单体得到更高的电压,但由于每个储能单体电压的不一致性会降低储能单元的利用率。针对以上问题,提出一种基于谐振变换器的串联储能单元均压控制策略。该均衡电路通过开关阵列与谐振变换器相互配合,实现... 储能系统中通常通过串联多个储能单体得到更高的电压,但由于每个储能单体电压的不一致性会降低储能单元的利用率。针对以上问题,提出一种基于谐振变换器的串联储能单元均压控制策略。该均衡电路通过开关阵列与谐振变换器相互配合,实现任意单体之间和任意多单体之间的能量传递,且这两种能量传递模式均实现了零电流开关,减少了电路损耗。为获得最优均衡速度和均衡效率,采用K-Means聚类复合控制策略,优先对分组单元进行均衡,然后再进行单体间的均衡。最后,在Matlab/Simulink平台上对6个串联储能单体进行均衡仿真实验,实验结果表明,在静置均衡实验下,电压在24 min左右达到均衡,且均衡精度达到5 mV,均衡效率达到98.98%。与传统均压方法相比,该方法具有更快的均衡速度和更高的均衡效率。 展开更多

提出了一种应用于新能源发电系统的低电流纹波高增益软开关直流变换器。在传统交错Boost变换器基础上,该变换器通过引入耦合电感和二极管、电容升压单元提高电压增益,耦合电感在整个开关周期过程中都传递能量,提高了磁芯利用率。输入侧... 提出了一种应用于新能源发电系统的低电流纹波高增益软开关直流变换器。在传统交错Boost变换器基础上,该变换器通过引入耦合电感和二极管、电容升压单元提高电压增益,耦合电感在整个开关周期过程中都传递能量,提高了磁芯利用率。输入侧工作在交错模式,两相电感电流纹波可以相互抵消,从而获得较低的输入电流纹波。由于耦合电感自身漏感的存在,减轻了整流二极管反向恢复问题,同时采用有源钳位电路回收利用漏感能量,实现了所有开关管零电压软开关,抑制了开关管关断电压尖峰,提高了变换器转换效率。详细分析了变换器的工作原理、电路特性以及软开关实现方法。最后,搭建了一台200 W的试验样机验证了理论分析的正确性。 展开更多

直流侧中点电位平衡和零序环流抑制是保证三电平逆变器并联系统正常运行的重要问题,然而基于冗余小矢量对调节的环流抑制方案进一步增加空间矢量脉宽调制(space vector pulse width modulation,SVPWM)中点电流无法对称消除的场景,加剧... 直流侧中点电位平衡和零序环流抑制是保证三电平逆变器并联系统正常运行的重要问题,然而基于冗余小矢量对调节的环流抑制方案进一步增加空间矢量脉宽调制(space vector pulse width modulation,SVPWM)中点电流无法对称消除的场景,加剧双机系统中点电位不平衡程度。该文基于虚拟矢量合成思路,提出一种满足零序环流抑制和中点电位平衡需求的双机虚拟矢量调制方法。该方法重新定义虚拟中矢量,通过缩短中矢量作用时间和增加参与合成的对称冗余小矢量以减少中点电流不平衡场景;分析不同扇区不同控制目标下虚拟矢量合成规则,利用相占空比法优化虚拟矢量的作用顺序,减少矢量合成过程中的开关次数。与传统SVPWM策略下中点电压变化量的对比分析表明,所提方法能够削弱环流抑制和中点电位平衡的耦合关系。最后,利用Starsim平台实验验证该策略的有效性。 展开更多

频率控制的传统LLC谐振变换器往往受限于开关频率的有效调节范围,难以实现宽输出电压范围,为此,研究了一种限制调频范围的不对称多模式宽输出LLC谐振变换器。采用双谐振腔且对应两变压器变比不同的不对称结构,能够根据原边开关组合的不... 频率控制的传统LLC谐振变换器往往受限于开关频率的有效调节范围,难以实现宽输出电压范围,为此,研究了一种限制调频范围的不对称多模式宽输出LLC谐振变换器。采用双谐振腔且对应两变压器变比不同的不对称结构,能够根据原边开关组合的不同,使得双谐振腔分别工作在单半桥、双半桥和半桥+全桥3种不同的模式,从而获得3种不同的电压增益,并且保证每种模式之间归一化增益调节范围不超过1.5,可以在窄开关频率范围内实现宽输出电压范围。建立300 W的实验样机,验证了所提变换器可实现1~3倍的宽输出电压范围,并且实现了原边开关管的零电压开通和副边二极管的零电流关断,具有良好的软开关性能,验证了变换器的可行性。 展开更多

传统的串并联开关电容型均衡电路在工作过程中会产生影响电路可靠性的冲击电流,为了改善该问题对电路性能的影响,同时提升电路的均衡速度,提出一种基于LC谐振单元的多回路开关电容型均衡电路。电路的LC谐振单元由均衡电容串联电感元件组... 传统的串并联开关电容型均衡电路在工作过程中会产生影响电路可靠性的冲击电流,为了改善该问题对电路性能的影响,同时提升电路的均衡速度,提出一种基于LC谐振单元的多回路开关电容型均衡电路。电路的LC谐振单元由均衡电容串联电感元件组成,所有开关器件均工作在零电流开关模式下,这将有效降低开关损耗,并有效抑制电路中的冲击电流,从而延长开关器件的使用寿命,提高电路的可靠性。所提出的均衡电路采用两个LC谐振单元作为储能元件组的组间均衡支路,可以同时实现储能元件单体与单体之间以及储能元件组与组之间的均衡,在保证均衡精度的同时,有效地提升电路均衡的速度。详细地分析了电路的特点与工作原理,通过搭建仿真平台,将所提出电路与现有的同类型均衡电路对比,验证了所提出均衡电路对均衡速度的提升作用。搭建了五个串联超级电容的实验平台,实验结果表明,所提出的电路可以提升55.85%的均衡速度,并且对冲击电流有显著的抑制作用。 展开更多

由于二次侧附加电容磁复位正激变换器具有结构简单等优点,因此有着较好的应用前景,但目前尚未见附加电容对电气性能影响及其设计方法的研究报道。为此,该文通过深入分析附加电容C_(b)对变换器工作模式和能量传输过程的影响,指出变换器... 由于二次侧附加电容磁复位正激变换器具有结构简单等优点,因此有着较好的应用前景,但目前尚未见附加电容对电气性能影响及其设计方法的研究报道。为此,该文通过深入分析附加电容C_(b)对变换器工作模式和能量传输过程的影响,指出变换器存在四种组合工作模式,且励磁电感断续导通模式(DCM)/正激电感连续导通模式(CCM)最佳。C_(b)不仅能将励磁能量传输到负载,还可调节开关管电压应力,在负载不太大时实现续流二极管零电流关断(ZCS)和开关管低电压导通。通过分析C_(b)对变换器电气性能的影响,指出开关管电压应力随C_(b)增大而降低,开关管低电压导通性能随C_(b)和正激电感的减小而提升,并提出了一种确保变换器工作于最佳模式且可最大程度提升电气性能的参数设计方法。实例和实验结果验证了理论分析的正确性和设计方法的可行性。 展开更多

短路故障在首个大半波内快速选相开断对提升电力系统稳定性具有重要意义。为此,本文研究并提出了一种基于自学习的长短期记忆(LSTM)网络短路电流零点预测方法。构建了基于自学习优化训练的LSTM短路电流预测模型,并采用循环迭代法对短路... 短路故障在首个大半波内快速选相开断对提升电力系统稳定性具有重要意义。为此,本文研究并提出了一种基于自学习的长短期记忆(LSTM)网络短路电流零点预测方法。构建了基于自学习优化训练的LSTM短路电流预测模型,并采用循环迭代法对短路电流波形及过零点进行预测;搭建了RTDS试验平台,验证了自学习LSTM网络对零点预测的准确性、快速性以及稳定性;讨论了不同短路故障电流的起始相角、谐波含量、信噪比、衰减直流分量时间常数等因素对自学习LSTM预测精度的影响;仿真与试验结果表明自学习LSTM网络对短路电流零点具有较好的预测能力,当采样时间为3 ms时,自学习LSTM首零点预测精度已与RLS算法采样时间5 ms时预测精度相当,为在首个大半波内实现相控开断提供了依据。 展开更多

该文提出一种适用于光伏发电系统的具有谐振软开关的高增益耦合电感组合Boost-Zeta变换器。该变换器是由Boost变换器与Zeta变换器组合并引入有源钳位支路和谐振耦合倍压单元而得到。所提变换器利用拓扑组合和耦合倍压技术实现了非常高... 该文提出一种适用于光伏发电系统的具有谐振软开关的高增益耦合电感组合Boost-Zeta变换器。该变换器是由Boost变换器与Zeta变换器组合并引入有源钳位支路和谐振耦合倍压单元而得到。所提变换器利用拓扑组合和耦合倍压技术实现了非常高的电压增益。利用有源钳位支路,实现了所有开关管零电压开通。同时,利用二次绕组与谐振电容谐振实现了所有二极管的零电流关断,有效地解决了二极管反向恢复问题。分析变换器的工作原理,给出变换器的各项性能参数和软开关实现条件。所提变换器还可通过叠加倍压单元进一步提升电压增益。最后,搭建一台200 W实验样机,对理论分析进行了验证。 展开更多

为解决目前感应耦合能量传输系统启动阶段电流冲击大、启动可靠性较差等问题,提出一种新型软启动控制方法。分析了基于串-串型补偿电路的感应耦合能量传输系统的数学模型,对比分析高频逆变器不同调制占空比与启动特性之间的关系,对系统... 为解决目前感应耦合能量传输系统启动阶段电流冲击大、启动可靠性较差等问题,提出一种新型软启动控制方法。分析了基于串-串型补偿电路的感应耦合能量传输系统的数学模型,对比分析高频逆变器不同调制占空比与启动特性之间的关系,对系统软启动调节时间长度、占空比调制载波频率等关键参数进行了选取。所提软启动控制方法可较好地抑制启动冲击电流以及软启动调节时间过后的电流振荡现象,并实现高频逆变器在全时间范围内的零电压开关,降低了高频逆变器的开关损耗,进一步提高了系统的安全性和可靠性。基于研制的感应耦合能量传输系统实验样机进行实验,实验结果证明了所提软启动控制方法的有效性。 展开更多
