Accompanying with the actors' and the actresses' own voices and natural breathing, the subtitled ones enable almost all the audiences to have a genuine, authentic movie time. Whereas the dubbed ones are comparatively costly and time consuming in the process of reproduction, it have gradually faded out from our sights. This thesis conducts a brief survey and a tentative analysis on the strategies of subtitling translation with the case study of the famous TV series Emma, which is recomposed from one of greatest British Romantic Author Jane Austin's masterpieces.展开更多
