The question of how to motivate language learners has been a neglected area in L2 motivation research, and even thefew available analyses lack an adequate research base. This article presents the results of an empirical survey aimed at initiatinginterviews and conducting follow-up questionnaire to obtain classroom data on motivational classroom teaching activities and theactual effect of these strategies. This current study provides new insights into English classroom teaching with further researchinvestigation and teaching implication to promote students' integrative motivation through classroom teaching activities. 展开更多

情态是说话人表达对断言和建议的态度和判断的一种手段。本研究基于自建语料库,以Halliday的功能语法为主要理论依据,采用Fowler(1985)提出的情态的五种分类法,并参照Van Dijk的意识形态分析理论,对美国共和党代表人物JohnMcCain... 情态是说话人表达对断言和建议的态度和判断的一种手段。本研究基于自建语料库,以Halliday的功能语法为主要理论依据,采用Fowler(1985)提出的情态的五种分类法,并参照Van Dijk的意识形态分析理论,对美国共和党代表人物JohnMcCain和民主党代表人物Barack Obama在2002~2008年期间就战争与和平问题所发表的言论及相关新闻报道中的情态话语进行分析,揭示情态在政治语篇中具有操控性和劝说性等功能。研究表明,情态是操纵者驾驭的一种语言策略。 展开更多
