The era particularity of college students’ life course makes their society anxiety and Chinese modernity inseparable. Due to the compression of time and space in the process of China’s modernization, the society anxiety of contemporary Chinese college students shows contradictions between reality and expectation, ability and desire, diversity and self. Under the background of mobility and risk endowed by modernity, understanding the current college students’ society anxiety needs to be explored from three perspectives: the contradiction between consumption desire and consumption ability, the contradiction between class mobility desire and the status quo of class “Involution”, and the contradiction between multiple value systems and subjective identity. And from the perspective of transcending the fair risk brought by mobility and building ontological security, this paper puts forward new ideas to resolve the society anxiety of college students.展开更多
