Specimens of L. japonicus were collected from the laboratory culture of Athetis lepigone Moschler (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) in Shandong Agricultural University and deposited in the Laboratory of Systematic and Applied Acarology, Shandong Agricultural University (SDAU). L. japonicus has shown promise of being a biological control agent of Bradysia odoriphaga in laborat ory observations. A key to the females of Lasioseius species from China is provided.展开更多
