Methods: A total of 132 college students were recruited to participate in the experiment. This experiment had a 2 (Group: experimental vs. control) × 2 (Time series: pre-test, post-test) mixed experimental design. All participants were used to evaluate the amount of exercise, anxiety and depression before and after the intervention. Results: There was no significant difference in the amount of exercise, anxiety and depression among college students before exercise intervention. After the sports intervention, the exercise volume of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the anxiety and depression levels were significantly lower than those of the control group. Conclusion: Sports intervention can significantly reduce the level of anxiety and depression among college students, which is an effective psychological intervention strategy to alleviate the emotional problems of college students.展开更多
