The application of this kind of anti-liberalism economic theory in practice made the German Empire become the first country with the modern state-interventionism in the 1880s. This development direction was interrupted by its failure in the First World War and the birth of Weimar Republic. The tradition of "the History School" was at the edge of theory, but it was still inherited by the "New Conservatism Theorists". The Depression from 1929 to 1933 revived this kind of tradition. During the revival, as the inheritor of "the History School", Nazists not only combined the traditional theory of "the Nationalistic Etatism" with innovative measures of "New Conservatism", but also put them into their own ideology of "the National Socialism".
