But until now, no water mites have been recorded from Tibet. In this study, two water mite species, Sperchon glandulosus Koenike, 1886 and Sperchon plumifer Thor, 1902 are reported for the first time from Tibet, and Sperchon glandulosus is newly recorded from China. Descriptions and illustrations of Sperchon glandulosus are given herein. DNA barcodings for the two species are also referenced. A key to the 22 species(females) in the genus Sperchon from China is presented.展开更多
