In order to explore the effects of different carbon sources on the water of Aristichthys nobilis Richardson culture by biofloc as well as regular,glucose,sucrose,dextrin,brown sugar and molasses 5 soluble carbon sourc...In order to explore the effects of different carbon sources on the water of Aristichthys nobilis Richardson culture by biofloc as well as regular,glucose,sucrose,dextrin,brown sugar and molasses 5 soluble carbon source were added into the water of Aristichthys nobilis Richardson culture containing a certain amount of ammonia nitrogen,nitrite nitrogen to research their effects on pH value,dissolved oxygen,ammonia-nitrogen,nitrite nitrogen value.The results showed that sucrose had the best effect in converting ammonia nitrogen and nitrite nitrogen;glucose and dextrin had significant effect in converting ammonia nitrogen.However,compared with sucrose,glucose and dextrin had bad effect in converting nitrite nitrogen molasses had bad effect in converting ammonia nitrogen and nitrite nitrogen,and had little effect on pH value and dissolved oxygen;glucose,sucrose and dextrin had significant effect in decreasing pH value and dissolved oxygen;brown sugar had good effect in converting nitrite nitrogen,whereas it had little effect in converting ammonia nitrogen.Therefore,sucrose was the best carbon source,and if the cost factor was taken into account,glucose also had a high cost performance.展开更多
Soil samples were taken from healthy tobacco plant rhizosphere in Phytophthora nicotianae severely infected tobacco field in Hunan Province to screen out antagonistic strains against Phytophthora nicotianae by the pla...Soil samples were taken from healthy tobacco plant rhizosphere in Phytophthora nicotianae severely infected tobacco field in Hunan Province to screen out antagonistic strains against Phytophthora nicotianae by the plate confrontation method.Subsequently,we had obtained a strain LZW-118 which had an obvious inhibitory effect on Phytophthora nicotianae with the plate inhibition rate of 71.14%.The strain LZW-118 was identified as Burkholderia vietnamiensis based on morphological,physiological and biochemical characteristics analysis and 16 S rDNA sequence.The growth-promoting potential test results showed that the strain not only had a significant inhibitory effect on Phytophthora nicotianae but also had the functions of nitrogen fixation,phosphorus dissolution and growth promotion for tobacco plant height,leaf length,leaf width and the number of leaves,showing a good application potential in biological control.展开更多
Cytokinin plays a very important role in plants growth and development,and CRE1 has been identified as a cytokinin receptor.However,the biological function of CRE1 in cotton remains unclear.In this paper,GhCRE1 gene w...Cytokinin plays a very important role in plants growth and development,and CRE1 has been identified as a cytokinin receptor.However,the biological function of CRE1 in cotton remains unclear.In this paper,GhCRE1 gene was cloned and its sequence was analyzed by bioinformatics.The results revealed that GhCRE1 had 11 exons and 10 introns,and its molecular weight,theoretical isoelectric point(pI)and number of amino acids differed from those of the homologous gene in Theobroma cacao and Arabidopsis thaliana,with three different protein domains.15 unidentified proteins were found in potential interaction with CRE1 protein and 2 phosphorylation sites on CRE1 protein sequence were predicted by mutiple bioinformatics websites.Additionally,8 cis-acting regulatory elements were detected on CRE1 promoter sequence,and found related to light signal and hormone.These results were conducive to unfolding the function of GhCRE1 in upland cotton.展开更多
Salt is a major environmental stressor for crops.MicroRNAs(miRNAs)play a crucial role in plant response to salt stress.In this study,a comparative analysis of miRNAs between salt-tolerant and salt-sensitive jute subje...Salt is a major environmental stressor for crops.MicroRNAs(miRNAs)play a crucial role in plant response to salt stress.In this study,a comparative analysis of miRNAs between salt-tolerant and salt-sensitive jute subjected to high salinity were carried out.374 known mature miRNAs were identified and 87 potential miRNA candidates from the eight sRNA libraries were predicted.For the salt-stressed versus the control,181 miRNAs including 45 novel miRNAs were differentially expressed.More differentially expressed miRNAs were present in TC(salt tolerant)than in NY(salt sensitive).Among NY,58 and 27 differentially expressed miRNAs were discovered in leaves and roots,respectively,whereas among TC,45 and 113 differentially expressed miRNAs were discovered in leaves and roots,respectively.Two common differentially expressed miRNAs were discovered in both leaves and roots of the two genotypes.10 differentially expressed miRNAs were common across both leaves and roots only in TC,including 6 upregulated,3 downregulated and one both up and down-regulated miRNA.The results obtained in this analysis contribute to an improved understanding of abiotic-stress tolerance in jute and will be useful for breeding programs to improve jute productivity in soils with high salinity.展开更多
