The results reveal that there are nopossibility of iron deficiency in nonanemic ill children if the RDW of the child is normal.While the case is with increased RDW value and with decreased hemoglobin (below normal)that indicates there is troublesome with the synthesis of hcmoglobin. The RDW is in positiverelation to the content of ZPP. Although the RDW value may be normal in anemic child, it isstill a possibility of iron deficiency, while the child with high RDW and low MCV. It can bediagnosed as iron deficiency anemia, it may be as high as 78. 8%, and RDW is with highlyrelation to ZPP value tested.展开更多
