By reviewing the origin, development, and theoretical foundation of the jigsaw teaching method, the article analyzes the difficulties in current junior high school English writing teaching and the general state of students’ writing ability. This study adopts the jigsaw teaching method and elaborates on the specific implementation steps in English writing teaching. Through the evaluation and analysis of teaching effectiveness, the study demonstrates the significant role of this method in improving students’ English writing ability. The research findings indicate that the jigsaw teaching method has a positive impact on stimulating students’ writing interest and improving their writing skills. In conclusion, applying the jigsaw teaching method to junior high school English writing teaching can effectively promote students’ writing ability.展开更多
