科技英语翻译中的审美标准

科技文章作为传播科学理论的文字形式 ,其审美价值主要在于成功地表现自然界的内容美。因此科技翻译 ,作为这种特殊文体的翻译 ,具有它的个性——内容美 ,同时它也有翻译美学的共性。本文根据笔者的翻译实践 ,提出科技英语翻译审美的三大标准 :准确性、简明性、科学性 ,并用实例进行论证 。

英语词汇学习与跨文化交流

学习语言的最终目的是交际。而交际能力涉及“语言能力”和“文化能力”两个方面。词汇运用更突出地体现了文化差异。本文分析了英语词汇学习与跨文化交流间的联系，旨在使英语学习者认识到学习英语词汇，必须了解英汉文化背景知识，才能提高跨文化交际能力。

On Communicative Teaching in Middle School English Lesson

This thesis begins with the important effect of context on language interpretation or communication especially on cross-culture communication. Context covers three classifications that refer to linguistic context, situational context and culture context.This thesis takes contextual teaching of English in middle school as an example to illustrate communicating teaching. It lists out reasons of contextual teaching in middle school, and also mentions of middle school students distinguishing features. According to principles of creating context it points out emphatically how to create context which is further explained by especially appropriate application of context in special classroom teaching, that is, contextual teaching in the four lessons of a unit.

着眼点在于培养能力——学习《新编大学英语》的体会

注重培养学生的应用能力 ,使语言充分发挥其交际工具的作用 ,是《新编大学英语》的宗旨 ,也是它的编写特色。提高大学生的文化素质是大学英语教育的关键 。
