Beverage Industry has experienced significant growth globally in the year of 2004.There has been an enormous amount of product development and diversification in 2004.Of significant interest is the growth and developm...Beverage Industry has experienced significant growth globally in the year of 2004.There has been an enormous amount of product development and diversification in 2004.Of significant interest is the growth and development of the so-called health drink market where new products are contentiously emerging.Besides these common features the local beverage industry in China has its own characteristics though the industry grows rapidly the consumption per capita is still quite low.Some kinds of drink that have new ingredients have been introduced but the market is still at the elementary stage.The industry has started business structure rationalization but still has a long way to go on branding lacking of a robust supply chain where materials and products flow efficiently through farms,factories and markets,moreover the current industry standard is outdated,a new standard must be contrasted urgently in order to adapt the needs of new products and new technology.In light of the facts that Chinese beverage industry should improve its product research and development especially R&D on the utilization of local farming products.It should invest more on new product upgrading and marketing and adopt standardized management on the manufacturing and marketing of new products especially functional drinks.展开更多
