A new conflicting evidence fusion method is proposed for the deficiency of Dempster's rule which can not fuse the conflicting evidence. Evidence is divided into three categories:believable evidence, non-conflicting evidence and conflicting evidence. The influences of these three categories of evidences on fusion results when discounted are analyzed respectively. On these bases, the evidence distance and the conjunctive conflict are utilized in sequence to recognize the believable evidence and non-conflicting evidence. The discounting factors of these two categories of evidences are set to one, which keeps the evidences support the true hypothesis to the greatest degree, and makes the fusion results focus onto the true hypothesis. Examples of some missile fault diagnosis show that the new method can effectively fuse the conflicting evidences, and is suited to fuse the relievable evidences. The new method improves the reliability and rationality of fusion results compared with traditional methods. 展开更多

Effectiveness-based system development is an essential technology developing concept advanced by some countries,such as the U.S.A.Making use of Analytic Hierarchy Process,this paper brings forward a methodology for orbital optimization based on effectiveness in the case of the orbital deployment for the Servicing Spacecraft(SSC),which needs to accomplish many types of tasks and whose orbit is affected by kinds of factors with contradictions in orbital parameter selection.Firstly,the possible tasks of SSC are decomposed and their degrees of importance are given by the times,probabilities,values of their applications.Then,the supporting capabilities are discussed from the viewpoint of orbit design,and the determination of their weights is put forward.Finally,the relationships between the orbital parameters and the effectiveness are established by using effective function,and three synthesizing methods for a single task and its capabilities are presented. 展开更多

The construction of a navigation system plays an important role in the development of national politics,economy and military affairs.Nowadays,the Beidou navigation system is facing a transition period from the regional navigation system to the global one.For the global constellation,the system performance will not be seriously degraded when one or two satellites are invalid,but it is out of case for the regional constellation,which usually has fewer satellites and less redundancy.This paper deals with this problem of hybrid constellations and analyzes the influence of the disabled satellites on the system.With hybrid constellations and simulation methods designed,the influence of invalid satellites on the navigation system is fully investigated. 展开更多

A novel unsupervised approach to automatically constructing multilevel image clusters from unordered im- ages is proposed in this paper. The whole input image col- lection is represented as an imaging sample space (ISS) con- sisting of globally indexed image features extracted by a new efficient multi^view image feature matching method. By mak- ing an analogy between image capturing and observation of ISS, each image is represented as a binary sequence, in which each bit indicates the visibility of a corresponding feature. Based on information theory-inspired image popularity and dissimilarity measures, we show that the image content and distance can be quantitatively described, guided by which an input image collection is organized into multilevel clusters automatically. The effectiveness and the efficiency of the pro- posed approach are demonstrated using three real image col- lections and promising results were obtained from both qual- itative and quantitative evaluation. 展开更多
