Teamwork and Physician Burnout: The Moderating Role of Perceived Organisational Support

Burnout is an important issue which has attracted the attention of physicians and health practitioners. Several studies have reported the negative effect of physician burnout and the adverse effect it has on the individual and health institutions. This study therefore examined the moderating effect of perceived organizational support on the relationship between teamwork and physician burnout in the Chinese context. Using a survey data consisting of a sample of physicians from hospitals within the Jiangsu Province of China, we estimated three models in a hierarchical framework and identified that in the presence of respondent’s demographic characteristics as control variables, perceived organizational support, play a very vital role in improving teamwork while reducing burnout among physicians.

Establishing a Social Governance Model Based on Collaboration,Participation,and Common Interests:Value,Structure and Roadmap

The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC)put forward the proposal of establishing a social governance model based on collaboration,participation,and common interests,with the aim of developing new approaches to social governance and further modernizing China’s social system and capacity for governance.As a structuralized social relation addressing diversified governance bodies,the model has consolidated the social governance innovations achieved since the 18th CPC National Congress.Focusing on three dimensions—"value,""structure"and"roadmap,"this paper tries to interpret the value connotations and defining features behind the model and explores its development roadmap.Such a social governance model is a response to political,social and public value appeals,and an adjustment to the order of governance bodies,resource allocations and the benefit distribution structure.Its construction is a systematic and long-term project,which should aim continuously at satisfying people’s ever-higher needs,perfecting laws and regulations,cultivating a pool of specialized organizations and talents,exerting the technology advantages of the Internet in governance,and promoting socialization,legalization,specialization and intellectualization in social development.

The Relationship between Economic Rights and Political Rights in Marx's Theory

According to the 'three-generation human rights' theory, 'the first generation of human rights', namely natural rights theory, emphasizes political rights, and 'the second generation of human rights', as the outcome of the international communist movement, emphasizes economic rights. However, if we deep analyze Marx's civil society-political state theory and his critique of natural rights theory, we can find that Marx's civil society-political state theory has two dimensions, where the two sets of human rights ranks are derived. Under the realistic condition, the economic rights indeed serve as the basis and aim of political rights while under the new idea of human rights—human liberation, political rights should be the most essential human rights.

Handicapped or Disabled? a Predictable Shift in Legal Terminology

The negative impact of the term canji ren("handicapped person")has gradually come to be recognized.The terms canzhang ren("person with disabilities")and canji ren("handicapped person")have been used interchangeably in academia.However,such interchangeable use causes difficulties for both law enforcement and the judiciary,and also gives rise to public confusion.Based on the etymology of"disabled",its Chinese translation,and a survey of the three models of the concept of"disability",it is apparent that the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities adopts an"integrated definition"of disability.Law of the People’s Republic of China on the Protection of Disabled Persons defines handicapped person in much the same way as the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities,with only minor deviations.Hence,to replace the term handicapped person with persons with disabilities is both in line with relevant provisions of the Convention as well as the legislative intent of China’s"Law on the Protection of Disabled Persons".In addition,this benefits the elimination of social discrimination and prejudice,as well as expanding the scope of legal protection.

In the process of completing the building a moderately prosperous society in all respects,China has been paying increasing attention to the protection of human rights including various emerging human rights,with the human rights protection system in China being improved.being an integral part of sports rights,the national fitness strategy advocated and promoted by China is a manifestation of the importance attached to sports rights,one of the emerging human rights.And as an important part of sports rights,it not only has diversified institutional connotations,but is also an important measure for completing the building a moderately prosperous society in all respects.China has improved the quality and effectiveness of sports rights protection with the nationwide fitness strategy,expanded the idea for realizing sports rights with the"internet+National fitness"model,and driven the modernization of sports rights protection by means of intelligent national fitness programs.Those practices reflect a holistic and institutionalized response to the national decision of completing the building a moderately prosperous society in all respects and have contributed to completing the all-round construction of a moderately well-off society in China.
