Influence of Carbon-doped Content on Formation Conditions of Coesite

The mixtures of a-quartz and graphite powder with different mass ratios were, respectively, high-energetically mechanically milled and then treated under high pressure and high temperature. The influences of carbon content on the synthesis conditions of coesite were investigated. The experimental products were characterized by XRD, TEM, and Raman spectrometry. The results show that the existence of carbon can obviously inhibit the formation of coesite, and the higher the carbon content of the initial material, the higher the pressure for forming coesite.

Synthesis of Small-sized Coesite Under Lower Pressure

With the help of high-energy mechanical milling and a-SiO2 as the initial material, we investigated the synthesis of coesite at a high temperature and high pressure under the condition of adding a certain amount of hard Fe filling. The synthetic samples were measured by XRD and Raman spectroscopy. The results show that a small amount of small-sized coesite can be obtained under 2.5 GPa and 973 K.

ESTIMATION OF ATTRACTION DOMAIN AND EXPONENTIAL CONVERGENCE RATE OF CONTINUOUS FEEDBACK ASSOCIATIVE MEMORY

Analytical techniques and Liapunov method were used for the estimation of the attraction domain of memory patterns and local exponential stability of neural networks. The results were used to design efficient continuous feedback associative memory neural networks. The neural network synthesis procedure ensured the gain of large exponential convergence rate without reduction of the attraction domain.

Prokaryotic Expression and Antigenic Analysis of Wbkc Gene from Brucella abortus

[ Objective ] This study aimed to clone and express formyltransferase （Wbkc） gene from Brucella abortus in E. coli, purify the expressed protein and analyze its immunogenicity. [Method] A gene encoding 27 -35 ku formyltransferase （Wbkc） was amplified from the genomic DNA of BruceUa abortus by PCR. The amplified fragments were digested with BamH I and Sal I, and inserted into pET28a vector. The constructed recombinant plasmid pET 28a-Wbkc was trans- formed into E. coli BL21 and was induced to express the fusion protein. Subsequently, the protein was purified by histidine-binding resin column chromatography, and the immunogenicity was detected by Western blot assay. The recombinant plasmid was identified by colony PCR, double digestion and sequencing analysis. [ Result] Wbkc was successfully cloned and expressed in E. coli. A specific protein band of 29 ku was detected by SDS-PAGE. Western blot showed specific im- munoreactivity of the purified fusion protein. [ Conclusion] This study provided a solid foundation for further investigating diagnostic proteins for brucellosis and developing Brucella gene-deletion vaccines.

BIFURCATIONS OF PERIODIC SOLUTIONS FOR PLANE MAPPINGS

In this paper, using some techniques, it was proved that there exists the regular homoclinic point for Taylor mapping with 4<A&le1.5π and motion of bouncing ball with 4<r&le1.5π. This result implies that the corresponding systems have infinitely many distinct periodic points.
