Thus "NTBF" (New Technology Based Firms) are increasingly developing, that are able to act both as a major player in the innovation process, and as a link between the market and the production world and that need not only venture capital to cope with the large initial investment, but also such figures that, with their leadership qualities, are able to anticipate the market development. As a result, the emergence of the knowledge society has increasingly driven companies to search for new business figures, playing both the role of financing partners and of valuable support to the entrepreneur in running a business. Such distinguishing characteristics appear to be peculiar to the figure of the business angel that, thanks to the know-how and international contacts, acts not only as a simple partner but also as a leading force within the company, who is able to simplify the decision process of the business and drive it to plan profitable investment and winning strategies. Therefore, the present work is aimed at understanding how such a figure is crucial to the development of new companies operating in emerging economies being, as well, technologically advanced, as it is the case for Estonia, which is called the "Silicon Valley of the Baltic Sea". Thus, the work will first focus on the functions, organization and the benefits resulting from the involvement of business angels and, secondly, on the reasons why this figure is preferable to other operators involved in venture capital, namely venture capitalists. Finally, the good practices implemented in Europe by the various associations of business angels will be analyzed, paying particular attention to the Italian context, in order to consider the opportunity to develop, even in the Baltic Republics area, a similar institution being able to ensure, by promoting contact between entrepreneurs and business angels, the proper development of businesses, especially starting-up companies.展开更多

Its functions in baking processes are numerous, some of which are not entirely clear, while others are evaluated by characteristics of the mature product. Regardless of its origin, the water shall be drinkable to be used in processes of baking. In this study, four types of water of the country which are Spring water, Lajthiza, Tepelena and Trebeshina are evaluated. Three factors that must be considered in relation to water quality, such as taste, content of chemicals and mineral content are evaluated. Identification of an unusual taste or bad smell in water can change the taste of the final product. Chlorine is considered a chemical ingredient that has significant effects on the quality of the dough, especially in the fermentation activity. Yeast, being a natural microorganisem, is sensitive to chlorine. Also a high level of chlorine affects the function of flour and enzymes especially. Mineral content of the water determines the hardness and softness of the water, where strong water contains a large amount of minerals, while soft water contains a very limited amount of minerals. Dough characteristics may be affected by the minerals content in water: minerals used by the yeast nutrient, so a change in their concentration in the water affects at the fermentation process. As a result, a change in fermentation will affect at the dough characteristics, making it stronger or weaker. In a wider sense of functionality of baking ingredient products, it is very important to control the baking process and final production of a consistent quality. Often, when quality is not within the required standards and used not adequately, water can be a determining factor for obtaining the desired dough and final product characteristics.展开更多

If yes, to what extend is it a tragedy? Miller himself considered the play to be the tragedy of the common man, as he presents his idea on tragedy as a genre and his idea of the tragic hero in his essay "Tragedy and the Common Man" (1942), but for a group of critics it is not a tragedy but to others and to the author, it is the tragedy of the man who tries to survive in the modern world by using archaic weapons. This paper briefly revisits the Aristotelian tragedy concept and modern theories, and stands on what are tragedy and a tragic hero. It aims at reading Death of a Salesman as a meeting point between (ancient) concept of tragedy with modern man and his way of seeing life, and briefly examines and explores the continuing disagreements among academics and by what criteria this play is a tragedy.展开更多

Many perceive it as a significant progress, others as an undisputed threat. However, despite the euphoria that faces this phenomenon, globalization is an evolving process. The fact remains that this is a progressive development of economic, scientific, political, and cultural aspects of all peoples of planet Earth turning it into a big city with many differences, in particular in education and educational activities. This paper will try to illuminate fundamental issues as: (1} understanding the notion of globalization in relation to both pedagogical principles in the field: the integrity and completeness; (2) elements of globalization, as a necessary process and development factor; and (3) "education for all" challenges for the twenty-first century. The content of global education in the scientific publication is given analytical processing, linking globalization in education with the development of democracy and human rights, global ethics, the influence of European norms, standards and the global world, the impact of European and world norms and standards, as well as the penetration of global civic cultural elements.展开更多

In the study, the crankshaft of diesel engine with four cylinders in line was taken, in which the material is changing from steel to cast iron, due to the technological possibilities of production. For study of torsional vibration of crankshaft system, the construction of equivalent reduced scheme is carried. Reduced inertia moments of discs are determined for each crank of crankshaft, by receiving the impact of piston group and rod mass. Reduced rigidities of crank are determined by experimental method. The results show that the rigidity of crank for the same crankshaft varies up to 6%, while the change between crankshafts goes up 10%. At the end, frequency and vibration forms are calculated using Tole-Holxer method. From calculations, it results that the frequencies are 19% smaller, while the vibration forms varies slightly. In this case, the change of the materials leads to the first frequency in the area of engine rotations and it can worsen the level of torsional vibration, therefore, it should check the resonance areas and vibration amplitude.展开更多
